where to solo???

i have always found at my lvl (26) parties are slower then soloing. so here is my question WHERE TO SOLO???????

exp from party is slow at lvl 26, compared to soloing? Where are you finding parties? O.o

Party is staple for acos, but if you really wanna solo, I suggest one map before mystra. If you're with a party, take it to Mystra and further (if you go past mystra, makes sure you're in a big party).

If you really want to Solo (which is good for a while) you should stick to Mystra Hill / Mystra Basin until you reach the mid 30s. Take lots of pots and make sure you keep up with the buffs on yourself.

If you find yourself dieing too much or getting mobbed go back a map and try again in a lvl or two.

I soloed until mid 30s in Mystra Hill / Mystra Basin and then til the 40s outside Mythril Mines. After getting Revive at 46 I started to party a bit but found that going solo was faster to lvl up (unless you get in a good AOE/mob party going beyond Loren or Lost Bryn)

I dont suggest soloing at your lvl but if you want to solo, i'd say go to Mystra Hill maybe a few maps before it and see how it goes. Also, when ou reach higher lvls, get used to partying cuz when you reach 5x it is absolutley impossible to lvl without a party ;) Good Luck~!!

I actually solo'd to level 30. The best places are the three maps west of Essene. It will be slower than a consistent party but if you're short on time or just want to do things solo those few maps are definitely good. It's the same thing on the east of Essene too.

After level 30 though, you should really look for some consistent parties or duo partners, because as an acolyte that's going to be your main means of levelling.

my aco trained here til 30 so i shud know

afer 30 get a party going to bayrin frest (bout 5 maps past west essene) almost no one trains
except soloing appys and there isnt a lot of them so you can pretty much own these maps

add them appys to pt, the xp u get from the kills of 3-4 appys can gain you more xp than if get that xtra boost if u hav a 'perfect' party, handy to hav a couple of fighters tho

i say dont pt in mystra at all, or if u do pt at the basin not hill, too many ppl in hill

n if u pt in mystra, keep them small, i say 3 to 4 person pt so dat u can move fastn kill a lot of mons
big pts tend to hav lazy ppl dat just talk or dont bring pots so they just sit n leach

perfect pt = 2 members for ea class, 2 squires, 2 neos n etc

Soloing once you hit 5x is absolutely useless, as smily said (although I did get 20% once soloing, it took me 5 hours -_-;) But until you get up to maybe 3-4x, it's still possible to get exp. Personally, I like to duo, so if you can find a good fighter maybe 10-20 levels above you, that should help. I went through my entire 2x days with a 4x neo that "powerleveled" me, duoed with me. It wasn't the fastest, but it WAS a lot faster than soloing, not to mention saved me oodles of money.

I'd go with what the others are saying, mystra or a few maps before, although watch out for the mobs. Good luck soloing :)

augilas gorge before mystra hill, stay to beginning of level though as the mob thickens in the middle and end often, once at 30 go hill, I am aco and have been for a week now and I am so close to 45, I soloed augilas and then mystra hill/basin flirting with luane and went into luane more and more around lvl 35 or so and once I hit 40 it was between Luane and Cyoren, as a lvl 26 if you PT with 4 for 10 percent try and have the guys be between your lvl and like 32 or so maybe one of them as high as 38, if you get to many in and you are only aco you quickly overestimate your PT ability to handle difficult mobs and keep going "next map" until one good mob comes in and wipes everyone out, but following the PT tech you can go very very far just for fun, at my lvl now (42-45) I duo with Kalaai1, a squire 1 lvl below me and we duo very effectively at Vargas 1 and 2 maps ahead of that...too much talking

yeah...I think the question was pretty much answered already, but just to reiterate, acolytes are generally better in parties than soloing, especially if you're a high level acolyte. So...maybe..you just need to find better parties? Find some good lvl 3X-4X fighters and try partying in cyoren (go west from the trisects and keep going, you'll find it one map after the mystra maps) or if your party is really stable, go to the next map shaio forest. It really isn't recommended to solo with an acolyte since its offensive magic is ridiculously weak..but if you really want to solo..prolly at your level..yeah..whatever everyone else is saying..augilias gorge or routeur valley. You can try mystra but odds are...at level 26, you'll be spamming pots like crazy and you'd have to rest a lot.
