appreciate this response quite a bit actually. I DO lose my grip sometimes its true. Maybe not so much since i made a reselution to not type after I've been drinking. I dont understand how it would make me not on your "side" though.

This whole thread brings about an interesting question though, cause i mean I havent seen anything posted by ANYone but dylan except one or two by Toru for months.

Wheres Min and Zeltar? Idk...they do good but they could do a lot better if they were more active at patrolling things, i mean cmon it IS kind of a lot for Dylan to have on her shoulders.

More than anything though I DO appreciate the nomination. It means even more to me than if I actually got the power.

well, about that i know I was seeming kinda mean to you about it, but honestly PoM has been so stupid. There are so many players that deserve it more for their hard work, then a lot of the ones they elect.

Alagan deserved it, Kit Deserves it. ect ect. I didnt hate you or anything it was just that i feel more like, where is the recognition of the people that have really put time in, like strider? He should get some props you know? Or even dafty ARNOTA, or all the people who are too busy grinding up past 100 to be involved in a popularity contest.

Sorry to rant but i just think that PoM deserves to be some one who is PLAYING the most, and not some one who is bored and shouting and slapping and hanging out in town all the time.

well thing was yes i slaped alot ppl asked me too and i did sit around town but helping players mostly threw whispers. taking ppl who shout for GMs help and answered the problem myself. u only see one side of a player u need to look deeper into it>< and i did find bugs that most players didn't report ether

but if everyone who is getting recognition are those who never gives a darn about others, and would kill half of xen's population for a xen

then I would say SOTS's community will be pretty unfriendly with a lot of tension

im not party at all!! I have mucho dental work! Monday i have root canal, tuesday i have deep cleaning + remove 1 wisdom tooth, and today I have one more root canal! Dentist give me many meds to take....

if theres a lesson to take away from my story its gotta be dont put piercing in your tongue...cause there is good chance it break many of your teeth if you have it in for years...

back on topic im still wondering what happen to all our supposed "community leaders"
cause it really does disappoint me to see dylan work so hard to keep things clean around here, and never see anyone else doing anything. Do they even still play? Do they even still check forums?
Granted if they ARE actually doing something and just doing it quietly then i can accept that, but it doesnt seem like it to me and im on the forums almost more than anyone so I notice whose doing what. At least in general discussion.

I want to bump this thread. Alk has a good point that we need new CL's. having only one or two active ones limits their usefulness but also takes away an important check and balance on power. CL's are here to edit the forums, they shouldn't be interfering in discussions or deleting posts to make themselves look better. Adding new CL's will A) lessen the stress on the existing ones and B) make sure that no ones e-ego gets inflated to a point where they are not doing their job appropriately.

btw, before my post gets edited or 'disappears' I'm not targeting anyone and I don't feel as if i'm 'debating'. ty.

yes in certain threads i have seen certain cl's abusing there power, for instance one deleted a post of mine because i quoted something they said that i assume they didn't want to be read, my post was respectful, although i admit was slightly off topic, but a lot of threads go way off topic without cl's interfering.

I think we need some more impartial cl's, not just ones that sing to outsparks tune

I am going to address this because its obvious your talking about me and I would like to defend myself. I edited a call out to me and deleted off topic conversations in that thread because they were getting heated. That is what I am suppose to do.

A CL does not see all conversations that get off topic so if you see them forward them to me and I will be happy to delete or post a reminder to keep posts on topic.

I do not and will not edit things to make myself look better. You can like me or not but I am here to do what they asked me to and that is to edit out off topic conversations as well as keep things civil.

No it is not to jump on any particular CL, but 1 CL may have a different opinion on something stated than the other. No one person should have total control as they could be having a bad day, could not be using fair judgement, or not fully understanding what was said and jumping to conclussions. This is, and has been done on more than one occasion so an added CL or possibly 2 would help balance the forum policies.

Well just aslong as they pick someone opened minded, someone who will support the players (both free and paying) and outspark in a finely balanced way, and not just be a yes man/woman for outspark, then it will be a great benefit for the community.
