updater wont update

okay i just reinstalled my OS and when i installed fiesta its now saying that my updater needs to be updated and then it downloads it anddoes that crap ppl are having problems with, i downloaded the manual patch off of the site here but when i run it i get the message "the windows installer program is either missing or the wrong version" thats not the whole message but i think ppl know what im talking about, has anyone found a solution to this problem yet?

no tips? i tried updating on another pc it updated fine so i tried copying the new updated folder to the one not working but that didnt work it still does the exact same thing

okay good news i had some old temp files with a old patch still it was this file FiestaPatch218-219 i used this and afterwords my updater no longer keeps updating but now i am only seeing one of my characters on the character select screen and when i try to log into the game either xtrap closes the game or it says the client is an illegal version im working on a new solution for this

I suggest a uninstall/reinstall. follow the directions HERE ( http://outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108359)

be sure to get the 219 installer, the file name is FiestaFull-1_219_0.exe

yeah after i got updater working right i uninstalled everythign im testing it literally now

okay see now i am getting irritated, i just uninstalled and reinstalled everything and now the updater is doing what it did at the beginning again

hmm i was useing updater 215 but i downloaded that darn thing earlier today from the website what the heck anyways im downloading 219 now maybe this will figure out what the hecks going on

I would suggest submitting a ticket to support@outspark.com before you mess with anything else on your computer.

What OS are you running? And have you updated your .net framework? When you uninstall are you sure to delete all leftover files?

Windows XP Profressional, i ran the patch to go to 219 im also downloading the full install sense the patch makes it so the client itself doesn't update right thats when i get the illegal client version errors, i did update framework, windows installers, drivers, everything before i went about this but i'll try these new files something tells me it wont work though i don't see a difference from running the patch for 219 and installing full 219 but i'll try it when its done downloading i guess not much of a choice.
