You should try every character in order to see which one you like the most, unless you already favour one in particular. For example, I didn`t bother trying anything because I know that I`m a fighter at heart and that my blood burns with the red hot passion of that class!! (Woot!)

Aye, just post in one forum. It'll make people think that you aren't super new.

And you should be a Cleric. Cause Clerics rock. And they make friends easy. And they have sparkly skills. And we can use Hammers!!! And Maces. And because Clerics are uber-self sufficient. And because clerics make money rather easy, the list goes on and on and on.....

Or just play till you find your playstyle. I'm a Cleric to the core, cause I prefer to keep helping people, rather than cut them down. >.> Although Pinkies and procks deserve to die.
