Sounds like your horse is a time limited one instead of a regular feedable one. 100 usually means CS ride and 1000 means a feedable one.

If it is 1000, you can find floatation stones from the same place you purchased your ride. If it's 100, I doubt it'll go down because it is a time limited item instead of permanent.

You can buy sticks to feed your horse by the Item Merchant Pey in Roumen and the Item merchant Kanton in Elderine.

And GL_Nei says right: You must have a CS horse, is it right?
