Yea I know "curiosity killed the cat"...
I was just curious...
If a person gets an infraction on the forums and/or in a forum private message for any reason and then gets banned for something they stated on the forum and/or in a forum private message...Then why do they get banned from the game itself when the infraction and/or ban did not happen directly in the game itself due to it being posted or private messaged in the forum?
Could a GM or CSR ONLY please clarify this for me.
Thank-you so much!
If anyone wants to leave any comments, more than welcome.

To get a direct answer from a GM or CSR I would suggest PMing them. They may not see this right away....
The reason you can't play the game anymore if you were banned on the forums is because your log in information (which is associated with this account) is gone.
So even if the infraction didn't occur in game, it still affects it. Hopefully, this would lead some players to think twice about what they do or say on the boards here.

Well, the forum and game accounts are the same thing...so I would think that by banning someone from the forums, it effectively bans the entire account meaning banning it from the games too o.o Also the Terms of Service apply to the forums and games as a whole, so breaking a rule in one section is effectively the same as breaking it in all the sections...

So...if your forum ID and your game ID are different...you can be a jerk all you want? :O

It all depends on the nature of the offense or the situation at hand.
Sometimes we suspend from the forums only and other times we suspend from the entire portal as well. It has to do with the events that took place.
bottom line (I am going to quote from the Terms Of Service):
We retain the sole discretion as to when and how to impose warnings, penalties and/or disciplinary actions. The severity of a violation and number of occurrences factor into the decisions, but they are not the only measures used. User identities may be banned, both temporarily and permanently, without prior warning. To avoid any doubt, you acknowledge that Outspark.com has sole discretion with respect to penalties and disciplinary actions even if there is a credit remaining on your account.

So are we to belive that this rule is biased to certain people?

They can't be different as they are tied to the unique SparkID. The only way to post and play on different accounts is to have 2 different accounts.
Please keep in mind that we already know your other accounts no matter how many you create and we pay special attention to the ones that are refereed to as "jerk" whoever they happen to be :)

Ty for the explanation. And TY for all that have posted as well. It was collectively stored for later usage of my accounts.

Everyone is treated the same no matter what you want to believe.
If you have a perception or a grudge and refuse to believe that we treat everyone by the rules the same way then nothing I or the staff says would change that perception.
Those who break the rules tend to feel that way, We don't blame them for feeling that way, no one likes to be disciplined, it's human nature. At the end of the day we do our jobs and hope everyone else is enjoying our products.
If we happen to be wrong, we make sure we fix it.

How is the nature of offense determined against one individual and not another? Is there special circustances for certain people? If you would like to discuss this CSR JOKER plz pm me as i do have some questions.

But i do believe when one person is singled out from many then there is a biased situation taking place. I do not wish to go into detail so if you could pm me I would deffinitly like to discuss this with you.
