So many Cleric VS Disciple, to the future!!

How about detailed accounts, experience, and VS (pros/cons) of the Priest VS Templar classes, as being prepared for the long-term is almost always bettert han being prepared for the short term (Cleric VS Disciple)...

We are aware of the basic differences, or focus, between the two classes and plenty enough ppl can imagine because of the Disciple and Cleric Threads what the differences will be. So really how do things change, what are some differences, list the obvious, I could, and list the unobvious, general descriptions and personal experiences all welcome. A templar and a disciple may play the game in two different fashions. Many a time a priest is the head of a guild with many clerics...so lets get the execs into play here...also lets not forget the future...(holy avenger vs paladin)...speculation??

i would say that getting to bishop/paladin is going to be a very long journey because you would always have to share your experience with other people.. it is going to be very hard to become a bishop/paladin because of that very reason. paladin/bishop are going to be able to change at roughly lvl 130s<-? but its a fact that templars can change to holy avengers early at 120.

Getting to Holy avenger might be faster but you will have to be able to solo a lot if you really want to go about it the fastest way possible.

I believe that nothing will really change when you get to the next tier, i feel that it will be the same when you get to the 12xs.. you will just have more skills and harder maps but the ideas are still the same.

Sammie you forgot a few things:

Clerics Pro's
-Ghost Steel + Oblivion eats HP faster than most class attacks
-Tilted head for the female
-Soloing can make people go ***
-Whacking people won't get you killed (most of the time)

Clerics Con's
-Low WT capacity
-Soloing is boringgggg

Discs Pro's
-Major Assist Heal (Great Sphere a.k.a Great Sphear)
-Saint Rising can make you invincible for a few seconds
-Higher WT capacity
-Burning Hand
-Change to Templar at lower lv than Priest
-Can solo
-Whack and you're dead (most of the time)

Discs Con's
-A duel can last wayyyyyyyyyyyyy long (well, except when duelling clerics)
-Ugly hat at lv 66+
-Can't see hair anymore DX

I did go out of the PvP stuff though XP
-Got killed by a priest in a duel in less than a minute-

Better look at Priest/Templar, since the last tier doesn't add anything particular groundshaking for niether. Only buffs or supportative skills. ^_^' (Still want to know about Powerlight, last offensive skill, only one in the 120+)

The biggest difference is the HA will be taking on a load of mobs with all the buffs activated and still using FB/ED ever since lv 86 unless AoE(Which means lv 81), at least they get a speed-increase with the new offensive buff, while the Paladin(Superbuffed, obviously) will still be taking on a few at best while spamming IQ, throw in Obli-Steel and PL(Cooldown?). Can't tell yet how it will be when they get the last skills requiring quite a few items to be activated.

(May Thrower excluded for now.)

*Curious, curious*

You forgot one con for the healers: Curse elixir. D=

For Disc; Poor hp growth, loss of Acoskills and pretty slow attacks when we don't count in AH won't increase in power.(100hp per tick... want it!)

For both; costy skills to execute, even if it's not in Wizard/Archmage class yet for the most.
