Great Lag whlie Playing

It has been bugging me lately. actually this has been bugging me for quite some time now. Its just simply amazing how fiesta has been able to ignore the complains regarding the lag. What's more amazing is that this lag is completely unique from before. Before when the game is lagged, it means everybody stops in your screen and even the monsters you are fighting also freezes. now, when the lag hits, it only hits the your player. everybody else is moving and even the monsters never stop attacking. why is this so? isn't there any way that fiesta can solve this one? it's making me think of quitting the game. :confused:

No, how can Fiesta notice that the game is lagging?
Its not the game, just the connection or your computer.
Every computer isnt the same. Some are lagging very much, some pass the lagging without any problems.

If you have another kind of lagging send an e-mail to support@outspark.com.
Hope this helps a little bit and I hope it can be fixed soon.

PS:Limit your resolution or dont play it on full screen. I think that should limit the lagging.

KireiYosei's Lag Guide (http://www.outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64300) may be able to help you troubleshoot your lag problems, or at least get some answers.

There are many things that can contribute to lag. Such as a computer not running on the requirements to play the game, not enough RAM, a spazzy connection, too many programs running, or just simply a busy server day.

Of course, if you're in a town like Roumen or Elderine, there is always going to be some sort of lag. Simply because it's a crowded area. If you're in one of these towns you can go into Character Hide mode by pressing Shift + Z, and this will help reduce the lag.

ah..the lag for me start when the server move up till now. My rl friends quitting this game because of it, and now i had dc every 15 min. The weird thing is, i do play other MMOs which have higher requirement. my pc is up to date on specification and when i play that other MMOs, i have no lag or dc at all. the problem is within this game.And i make sure to turn of my torrent , or unused service on my pc. Did try to contact the ISP as well, but since i have no problem with other games, so i guess it explain that my ISP is not at fault.

The lag is bad in certain period of time. I have this year's model computer and I lag to death 3 times and disconnect 6 times within 1 hour.

Every time the lag/disconnect happen, my computer overheat in CPU area so it is a badly written program that is the cause.

Ahtai, you are from singapore?, coz it seem like other player from this region also have the lag problem. And this night it become worst, since they move apoline to become number one in the server list..>.<. And another friend quitting again, he just can't handle too many lag and dc.

Actually I'm in america and the lag is definately killing me. I've even played less because it.

Its actually very strange, before the new patch I lagged but not enough to kill me but after I'm getting disconnected almost every time I log in and if I'm lucky enough not to be d/c'ed I'm lagging until I die.

Before the new patch I never lag, after the new launch I start to lag but still ok. The current patch I just lag to death, yeah I lag but the monster did not lag. Fiest is the only softwear running on this year's model computer so I can safely say it is not computer issue.

My internet provider is no 1 in my city so it is not internet issue either. Band width is not issue either, I have some heavy workrelated software running in real time interface with US server as well and have no issue.

My conclusion is it also happen when I have the computer run more than 24hr and computer hardware heat up. Before new launcher I can have it run non stop for 1 week and no issue at all. The computer is cool to touch now the computer is a nice thermal pad that I can warm up my food on it and an aromotheriphy steamer as well.

I too have bad lag too often,i am in Israel and i cannot even connect between 8-11 in the evenings as i continuously have a bad lag or i get varied messages about servers or maps being down,this has got much worse since the new patch.

i work for tech support for an ISP and what i can suggest is make sure u meet min sys requirements, make sure u dont have alot of programs running in the background IE security software, torrents, etc..., make sure u dont have viruses or spyware on your pc...i lag when i am in elderine and roumen but that cant be helped theres tons of people in that one spot...this might not help but just thought i would offer....
