Sometimes when I play as my mage character, and I try to use a spell, it does not work. It plays the full animation, up until when the magic shoots out. So, for the ice shot for instance, the ice appears in his hand, he does the throw-like motion, but no attack happens.

It happens from time to time. Simply log out and log back in, problem solved...temporarily >_>.
