Item pickup

Sometimes it just won't let me pick up an item.
1. It'll say Failed to obtain item.
2. It won't say anything and any other item that i killed a monster for won't let me pick it up.

This happened a lot with the crab claws for that one quest, for Pey I think it was. Just wouldn't let me pick them up. It's happened other times too though.

I get the "Failed to obtain item" message occasionally as well, but don't know if it's a bug or feature.

This item pickup bug has occurred to me numerous times, but i hear others complain about it, fairly frequently, in forest of mist. I have personally seen "Failed to obtain item" persist for 10 minutes straight on 2 occasions, in Forest of Mist. It is resolved after I log out/in.

I have had this error occur in forest of tides and sea of greed as well, but it seems a temporary issue on those fields, and resolves itself.

I had a similar situation. My party killed Jewel Grave Robber in Luminous Stones and it dropped a Return Scroll to Uruga. I wanted to let my partner to have it. She picked it up and went to me because of Sequential Allocation. I thought the quickest and easiest way to let her have it was drop it back on the floor and let her pick it up again (or change back to Free Allocation if it comes back to me). So I dropped it on the floor, but both of us "failed to obtain item" from the ground after I dropped it. I relogged and she stayed online to stay watch of it. When I came back it disappeared from my screen; however my partner (who didn't leave the screen) said she still sees it there and still can't pick it up.
