Hi all

This is my 1st post so he we go.

Right my problem.

I'm an lvl22 cleric that soloed a lot to this point and now I play in a party a lot mainly with an archer and some times a fighter was wondering if I should change my build and the best way to go about it (i think that you get a reset scroll at lvl30 so can move things around a bit later).

My states to date (I worked on 2:1 STR:END/SPR)

STR +14
Dex +1 (was accident meant to be on END)
END +6
INT
SPR +6

My Weapons are as follows (no upgrades yet till i pick one)

Storm Heaven Hammer
STR +8
END +10
Dmg: 77~97
Aim: 59
CR: 7%

Thunder Heaven Hammer
STR +4
DEX +9
Dmg: 77~97
Aim: 59
CR: 8%

Also what armour/weapons should i be looking for STR,END etc down the line.

Thanks for taking time to read and all help would be nice and appreciated.

You might consider dropping the spr. The extra sp doesn't change what a stone heals and you should rarely actually be hitting full sp, and the m.def is really nothing. The crit rate is all your getting, problem is with cleric's low damage str is better for damage. If you do a lot of tanking I've heard crits generate more agro so that's something to consider but I've never actually tried testing it.

My personal advice is when you get your stat reset scroll drop the dex and the spr, that's 7 out of the 10 you get. If you need the inv space just lower 3 more points and raise them right back up.

Anyway party clerics tend to tank a lot of hits, so that's where end really comes in handy. Of course solo clerics want the damage to speed things up so that's str. When it comes down to those two stats, that's a choice you'll have to make. A cleric that plans to almost never party won't care much about end, and one that plans to almost never solo won't care much for str. They don't exclude each other either, a str cleric can still party fine, as can a end cleric solo fine. You don't have to go full either way, my cleric is doing 50 end, remainder in str. It gives me a good mix of def and offense and I like it.

As for stats on gear, try to find both str and end, dex isn't terrible either but isn't really that great. I tend to prefer end over str on gear, the main reason being the damage bonus from str on gear hits the mob's def(unlike free str which is linear increase) so the actually per hit damage increase from str on gear is tiny. End gives hp and def which makes you survive just that much longer, not to mention on yourself your own heals are 75%+ of your total health so the more hp you can get the earlier you can heal without wasting it. Not to mention the longer you can survive between heals(comes in handy when healing multiple people). So prioritize end but also keep an eye out for str.

For weapons, I buy the skills for both so it makes changing between the two easy. It's mostly a matter of what I find, I prefer mace but I'm not going to pass up a +9 hammer when there's no mace available. There's honestly not that much difference between the two, maces takes advantage of str more, hammer has more crit and gets a bigger bonus damage per enhancement level than mace does.

If you really want to be a hench support cleric for parties, END END END, and SPR for those Magic Monsters. DEX is a luxury, not neccasary.

My Cleric is 30 END Rest STR ATM. I solo perfectly, and I can tank the WHOLE big rooms in my corresponding abyss. My gears at level 70 all have 30 END.

I mainly look for END/STR Gears, DEX SPR is just a added bonus ;D
