I really dont want to make Outspark the bad guy. In fact Im asking you all not too. But seriously. Vets day is supposed to honor our war vetrans. My father was a vet fron Vietnam, And then I see Outspark offering some event/suits for sale that are supposed to be in the spirit of this day. I kinda feel a little bit offended. I mean if a portion of thier profits went to vets ( like thier earth day stuff) I would buy tons of this stuff. But to have overpriced, non donated things like this, well to me it just spits in my face, and my fathers face.

I know most of you may not have family who served, or who were in any combat , but doesnt it seem the HEART of the company in this case is only interested on money? Not on the sprit of the day that it is supposed to be?

While I see where you're coming from, I think I slightly disagree. Many of my family members are veterans, and just recently, on Veterans' Day, my best friend's dad, who served 8 years on active duty, 8 years in National Guard, and 5 years in the Reserves, for the army, came into my American History class and gave a speech about what Veterans' Day was about.

Veterans' Day is really meant to honor the Vets, and I think that Outspark is doing a great thing by making some outfits that you can wear to show your respect of the Vets, and so on. Not all the events for Veterans' Day in the USA actually donate money to the well-being and benefits of the Vets. Outspark could've chosen to not even make this outfits, or anything related to Veterans' Day, and no one would've criticized them. So I think we should all be thankful that Outspark is cool enough to show their support of the Veterans by releasing things into the CS, therefore letting us show our support ;)

I can understand where you're coming from, all of the men in my family have served in the military. It would have been nice if Outspark donated towards veterans, but also at the same time, this is just a game, and releasing patriotic items was just a little thing they could do to get the game in the spirit.

Perhaps it never occured to them that they could do that.

i personally agree, sort of. my grandpa was in vietnam and stuff, albeit long before i was born. i think that they're simply trying to celebrate the day, and maybe make a bit of cash on the side. this IS an industry, after all. i dont think they ment to offend anyone.

My uncles, who were also twins, died in Vietnam. Now my Dad is the last son my grandparents have. Simple as that.

I think its honorable that they made the outfits in an attempt to bring attention to the date in the Outspark community. I also agree that I would have been more inclined to buy it had some of the proceeds gone to say helping fund Veterans Hospitals...which from what I know of them, aren't the greatest places to be.

I commend them for putting the spirit into the community, but theres a slight distaste for the fact that they are turning a profit off death.

I understand why you might be offended but at least they're doing something.
My family had to escape the war, though it was before my time, I would've had more family if that didn't happen.(I'm Vietnamese) Be happy there is a Vet's day, because I don't see a day for people like my grandparents who fought the war but not in it.

I agree, it sucks but Outspark IS a company and their many goal IS to make profit. Before Dakkon was let go he really seemed to be a voice for the people and keep some of the crap back, but honestly, everything Outspark does it to 1)increase cash shop sales aka make you buy sparkcash or 2)increase user count aka get new people on or make old people make more accounts to make their game look bigger and more popular (which bring them other benefits I'm too lazy to explain)
Ouspark isn't likely to do very many charitable/donation like evens unless their company is making to much money and by doing the charity stuff they get to keep more than would be taken at taxin' time.

Outspark only released it to widen their deep, fat pockets.
