Quest problem - Fragrance Grass of Obey 2

While I was playing this evening, in the chat log, I had requested a GM to help me, but no one got back to me, so I thought I'd come here.

My problem is with the quest, Fragrance Grass of Obey 2, and is as follows. I have been killing Karasian Arch Templars over and over and over again. My husband got the Karasian hair after just a few. I'm sure I've killed over 30. I know tonight alone, we killed over 10. Anyhow, I've quit the quest and tried to start it again, still haven't gotten the hair. I have logged out and back in again, still haven't gotten the hair. My husband handed the quest in and I still haven't gotten the hair. All this time, while trying all of these things, I've been killing the Templars and haven't been getting a hair. I realize that the drops are random, yes?, but isn't this going a bit far? I'm getting quite frustrated as to why it won't drop a freaking Karasian hair for me. Please help!!!!

Unfortunately this is one of those quest where you have to pretty much spawn kill the mob :(
I remember when I did this quest it took me literally days to get the drop.
I was a squishy archer at that time and I met a cleric who was nice enough to duo with me and heal me (those Karasian Arch Templars hurt...). She didn't even need the drop XD

i've done 3hrs straight WITH hunter's war rant before finally getting one... friends have gotten in the first 15minutes

ALSO be sure that your re-select free allocation... nothing would suck more than having it drop only to have the other party member pick it up due to NewParty/FreeAlloc bug.
