Eh? Price on yellow eggs went up?! T_T

not sure if there was a thread on this already or not..if there was, I'm blind and didn't see it and I apologize if that's the case. If not...O.O the price on the yellow eggs went up! T_T Now it costs twice as much for those things and the quantity remains the same? T_T I know there were a lot of complaints about yellow egg spams and that the GMs were trying hard to stop yellow egg spamming..but was it necessary to double the price on the eggs? T_T I'm not sure if there was another reason as to why the egg price rose other than the prevention of spam, but if there was another reason, could someone let me know? I'm all for the prevention of egg spam, but i'm just kinda bummed that the egg price had to go up..=/ I mean..I only use them for organizing parties and selling stuff, but those things still run out fairly quickly even if you're using them the way they were meant to be used. Anyway, share your comments and opinions about the increase in the yellow egg price here, provided there wasn't a thread on this already

Just to add on to the first post..I'm not sure if there was a notification about the yellow egg price increase and if there was, i completely missed the memo on it so if this information is redundant or repetitive, please forgive this lowly player who's still having health issues >.> (100.1 fever and a migraine...whee...x.x). If there was a notification regarding this sudden increase in yellow egg price, please let me know so I don't get flamed for repeating a known fact or something >.< thanks ^^;

There wasnt a notification about the price increase. At least I didnt see one. I think it had to be so steep to drive the point. I mean what better way to say we are serious about the spam then doubling the prices. I hope that as the spam goes away the price will come back down cause those little guys sure are useful! Right now a shout is 70sc. So use them wisely. :D

Still...I think it would be more effective if the GMs just jailed or banned users from spamming yellow eggs rather then make ALL SoS players pay twice as much for the yellow eggs. Of course...I'm not sure how the banning/jailing system works so for all I know, it's a very complicated process and it was just easier to raise the prices. After seeing how many problems users had about getting jailed from dcing during the waste disposal events, I guess it probably was just easier to raise the prices instead of jailing/banning the YE spammers. Still kinda bummed about the price increase, but if it really does prevent egg spamming or at least reduce it to a certain extent then I guess it's okay..

is gas prices going up in cali like crazy or something? xD everything keeps going up in the cash shop Dx i only get spark cash in $10 dollar increments and i used to could get a cpl weeks boost,2 hero capes and eggs from $10 now i can barely get 1 week worth of boost and 20 eggs x.x i wish they would just make sc stuff tradeable and get an ingame market for it

haha, They coulda just jailed all the yellow egg spammers, its pretty simple. they select you and click click, and you are in jail. Its a two edged sword. Those people that are dedicated to spamming will pay the new prices (helping Outspark) and those that cant afford it will cut down on the spam. (helping us) So it helps both parties involved haha.

Eh? gas prices are decreasing last I checked...a few weeks ago it was like..nearly four dollars a gallon but I went to a gas stations like..three days ago..$2.41 a gallon?! O.O yeah...gas prices are definitely decreasing but I'm not sure how that affects the sparkshop..I mean..I know the economy today is all messed up..and maybe Outspark is raising the prices in the sparkshop to compensate for it? but then again, that doesn't explain why the gas prices suddenly went down, and why are we talking about gas prices? lol..seems kinda random..O.o

True...increase of prices means that either people will leave out of anger for the raised prices or will lead to Outspark getting more money from people who are willing to buy the items even at the raised price and if Outspark can get more money..more power to them since it is after all a business that needs money to be successful..Still...there's always gonna be people (like me) who are gonna be extremely bummed about the raised prices..possibly even lose interest in spending real money for the premium items..but in regards to the yellow eggs..yes I'm kinda sad about the prices being raised, but as long as it really does decrease the spam then I can live it with. Not sure if the rest of the SoS community feels this way though..

lol...yeah...I was gonna take the opportunity to study for my exam while the maintenance patch was going but got distracted with the forums and oh! look at the time, the patch should be nearly done by now if not finished already >.< oops...yeah...guess we have to start looking for alternate methods of getting those selling/party announcements in to the SoS world =/

Glad that I bought 40 yellow eggs b4 the price went up, phew xD
But making then expensiv wont stop the spam. The yellow egg spammer stocked alrdy up with 200+ eggs. So it will last some weeks lol

But a big YAY for bringing blue lbs back :D
