seriously people, have we no appreciation of what Outspark has done for us?

Whats up with these rants about lack of game content, locked threads, deleted posts, and etc. ?

These forums are for constructive criticism. From what i have read so far, all the closed threads consisted of bad criticsm.

Actually, they werent criticsms, they were insults.

Talk about biting the hands that feed you.

Plus you guys started it. People in the forums have become rude, inconsiderate, blind, and unproductive.

What do you think will happen when someone just starts to spam threads about how crappy outspark is doing their job? What do you guys think will happen if you insult the very people that provided you the game? Of course they are gonna come down hard on those inconsiderate people.......>.>

And that was a big insult calling outspark a fascist oragnization. I have not obsereved them prosecuting anyone or anygroup of minorities. Nor have they acquired people to harrass those who spoke their mind.

I dont believe that people are really fed up with Outspark. My reasons:

1. Most of you still play the game.
2 You guys still visit the forums.
3. If you are really fed up, then what is the point of forcing Outspark to make changes?

your point? People already know about this stuff.. If you read other threads carefully, some are filled with constructive criticisms while some are filled with flames and insults.. It is consumer right to complaint so that the company is aware and cautious with what is REALLY happening..

I don't think you have to make a thread to remind us about this.. Many of us are wise enough and mature enough to understand the situation.. I believe this thread should be closed since it would promote potential flaming..

I do not expect it to change much. Like dance, lie down, or even fix the emoticon bug.

I just want the GMs to put in more maps. Both for lvl 9x so we dont have 12 aoers sharing one map, which is meant for 2 aoers, and lvl 12x players, so they can advance to fourth class

I feel really pathetic to beg for the right to game play when im playing a game :\

I think the core problem here is that, people are complaining to the wrong company. outspark(if im understanding it correctly) control the SC items and have no say so in what content goes into the game or the duration of special prizes(new helms as an example) or events that need the implementation of a content update as thats DNC's dept.

Imo(aswell as alot of others) the biggest problem with this game is the bordem factor, which is brought on due to the lack of game content, which is upto DNC to release.

now im a little miffed here because ive never come across a game where the game developers don't want to release game content(especially when the content already exists in an identical game). now ive heard it's due to the lack of customer base, which makes little sense really as more content= more players joining and staying, rather than joining, getting bored and quitting (which im sorry to say im seeing more and more of).

What i would say to DNC(directly if i could find their email but several attempts to track them down via the net have failed) is, you have the content, get on and translate it and get it into this game ASAP. if some of the content isn't well recieved by us then by all means, remove it, and also continue to develop other new content for the game.

For me, i feel that DNC doesn't care about us as we are a small community compared with xen online and xenepic, which i feel is out of order. in the long run this will destroy the game, in a way it has already begun to, but it's fixable, they just need to be quick about it!

As for the SC issue, outspark is a buisiness, so sure they need to make thier weekly kron to pay staff,server costs, publishing costs etc, so aslong as sc items don't cost so much that the cost outweighs their value then it's cool.

It would be nice if they kept this new mini game around permenantly as atm it feels liek someone is dangling a carrot infront of me, which is kinda crappy, and i don't think it would hurt the balance of the game with the items that are rewarded for completion of the mini game.

now, i don't see outspark as facist, however i do understand peoples frustrations in regards to the current developmental stage of the game, and as we do not have the means to contact DNC directly then unfortuneatly the forums (run by outspark) is the place that takes the brunt of peoples frustrations.

im not sure what the solution is, but if i were in outsparks shoes i think i would probably make a trash talk section and let people rant and rave as much as they like there :p

So, exactly what would you do if somebody came into your place of business, real or fictional, and started hurling personal insults, private and public, at you and your employees? Would you tolerate that in the least, especially when this person's comments could be heard by other customers?
This is not a governmental system, this is a company with expected codes of conduct when using their service. If that makes Outspark a fascist organization, well then, I guess the Axis truly won the war after all.

Thrakx's ban was the last straw in a long history of warnings from the staff for personal harassment and slander. The PM he sent to one of the staff today pushed it over the edge.

Outspark doesn't have complete control over the content of the game...they get what they get when they get it.

@Poisoned: Well...at the last job I had where someone was being rude to me (in this case he was sexually harassing me...price I pay for being a waitress at a dive bar) he was yelled at, thrown out, and banned from ever entering the building again..as well as a few other things, but those weren't really typical business practices so I'll leave them out.

Some choose to buy sc items and thats fine, but you dont have to.

it makes no difference if it's free or not.

I live in the UK and we have free health care and people complain about that all the time. from small things like horrible tasting tea in hospital cafes to major things like having to wait ages for operations. Also if people didn't buy sc items then this game would close down, unless they found some otherway to make it profitable.
finally, if people didn't complain and just left without a word, the game devs/outspark wouldn't know why and wouldn't know how to stop people from leaving. so just as long as a complaint is worded more like a constructive critisism then it can only be good for the game.

It's human to complain. If people didn't complain a lot in this world wouldn't have gotten done.
Fact of the matter is people are always going to complain. And when tempers flare and logical reasoning is pushed aside some unreasonable accusations tend to get made. It's a sign of both an effective community and lack of self-control at the same time.
It's beyond a doubt in my mind this isn't the last we're going to see of this and complaining about complainers (which from what I see is basically what's happening... >.>) really isn't going to help solve things. What WOULD work is if Outspark opened *and* maintained a dialogue with the players. Better communication will go a long way in allowing both sides to understand each others' perspectives and thus reduce the amount of angry outbursts. And while I don't mean that Outspark should go and tell us everything down to their payroll, I think it would help a lot of players could be updated on what issues were known, which ones were being worked on, etc. etc., rather than just getting generic and vague answers to questions asked and reports sent.

i slightly agree with this but in the way that the threads are just utterly annoying... maybe complaining is good, im not saying its not but imo those threads do pop up when a popular player leaves...*at least thats what ive seen for the most part, maybe not a "popular" player, but one that most of the "older" players kno* then alot of other players jump on the thread and agree that outspark sucks and whatnot... but theyre still playing the game and continue to play it.... im not saying they should just quit... but omg its just very annoying :x and then when some other player jumps in the thread and says outspark isnt doing such a horrible job as the quitting player is suggesting, they get flammed and all this mess.... yeah if u have suggestions for the game u should speak them or whatever, and im not saying to not complain at ALL... but stop making these threads about "OH IM SO LEAVING... That's cuz all the non-complaints got moved to off-topic, leaving General with not much use other than complaining . It's not that there's a lot, it's just that everything else is not there. >.>

i was basically just talking about the "quitting" threads(although all the other complaining threads are annoying as well)... when i said "the threads are almost always the same and have nothing but complaints... i just dont think that we have to see these threads over and over, time and time again...." i didnt mean all the threads in the gen. discussion... i meant all the threads talking about someone(or the poster) quitting... some dont complain, yet those are still annoying cuz u could just message the ppl ingame, even if theyre offline... but when someone quits they basically complain about the same things that others who have quit already complained about...

right now there are(or just recently were) alot of complaining threads... even if they werent in gen discussion they would still be here in forums... i didnt specifically say "general discussion has alot of complaining threads" i just said that im tired of seeing complaining threads, to be more clear then, im tired of seeing complaining threads ANYWHERE IN FORUMS....
