For Candian players In Alberta or close to Alberta region

Hey players in Alberta or beside alberta region see that fire ball that passed over the city? We were just driving the car then all of a sudden this flash of white kinda crimson colour just came out of no where and then we saw a giant red firery ball with a long tail heading down I think south, west, east or north don't know. Man the light was huge it caught the entire cities attention, and that light was so bright I thought it would blind me but it wasn't bright enough I geuss.

Anyway just checking if anyone else saw it, it was VERY random. CNN also got a tape of it, kinda blurry but you could see everything.

Was there any conclusion as to what it was? I remember seeing something that sounds pretty identical to that last year during the Perseid meteor shower. Me and my friends were out watching the meteors, then the sky lit up with this bright white ball of flame heading due east, going all the way until it passed beneath the horizon. One of the coolest things I have ever seen. I checked the Net the next day for news of a meteorite found on the west coast...turns out the thing landed in Turkey.

Ya it was a meteor. It was also incredible to get to see :DD. Wish I had been carrying a camera at the time :(

Yea but usualy meteors wouldn't create such a huge over whelming fire ball getting the attention of the entire city.
