Instead of forming up negative arguments, why don't we just mention the good things that came to the game because of Thrak's arguments.
One of the things that lead me to respect the guy was how he gave voice to make the Tiny potions available in the game. If it wasn't for his arguments, those potions probably wouldn't be there.
The second thing was how he made these boards enjoyable for us, if it wasn't for him, the General Discussion would've been dead.
Thank you

as the person who started the negative comments
I would say + virtual rep for u for this awesome idea
what got me to believe in thrakx is his movement to remove xens from lucky ball
I hope he will not stop making threads after this incident
or else our community may very well die

Thank you, thrakx, for bringing down the hammer of FLAME upon stupidity, even if you were a bit trigger-happy with it. Thanks for those Tiny Pots; I wouldn't be making Cleric this weekend without them.

Not to raindown on the parade but: It wasn't only just Thrakx who made suggestions and/or arguments for better ingame potions.. Yes, He was one of those who's name can be easily paired with the movement, but no - He wasn't the -only- one. So please don't be giving him all the credit, Just seems a tad bit wrong IMO. >_>
Anyway..
Thanks Thrakx. For lots of things. You surely will be missed around here. >_<;!!

Yes the whole potion as well as the xen thing should not go to thrakx for credits. Its nice you guys see him in such a positive light. Thank you thrakx for the good times

The credit didn't completely went to Thrakx, but his rough ways made Outspark notice that the game really needed them. That is the reason why i made him the voice of the people around here. Remember that his last two threads were the real ones that got the attention above of thousands that went down the drain.
Just wanted to clarify this, we know that he didn't get all the credit but without someone leading the idea then it wont go anywhere.

thanks thraxx for tiny potions, other than that i cant give any more credit to him
Because he used offensive unrespectable, unhonorable ways to get xen stones out of lucky balls. He basically bullied Outspark to make them give in to your demands. He blamed them for what he caused (lockdown on insulting posts). He critisized them for nothing (Like rats on a sinking ship thread)
And he was really rude to the majority of the forums (mainly to new ones).
Going overboard to get your demands heard wasnt necessary. He led a movement that mimicks Communist Revolutions.
Yeah cheers for those bad things he began.

I'll thank thrakx for giving the community a unique spark and for being fun, but I'm not gonna go so far as to give him credit where it doesn't belong.
Tiny Pots was a community effort. Maybe thrakx had a pivotal role, maybe not. But giving him credit for that takes credit from every one else who posted complaints both constructive and not.

Goodbye, Thrakx.
Maybe i'll make my negative incoherent rants against other forum lurkers.
I'd wish everyone would shut up about the tiny pots,
They were Incredibly long overdue and whether thrakx or the community 'pushed' outspark to do it is completely opinionated information and should die, soon. Either way the fact that it took so long to get them disgusts me enough, please move on without the tiny pots subject.
As to sedf,
Read the first post, and maybe if you'd dig up a little of what's supposed to be beating in your chest you'd show some sympathy in this situation.

In retrospect, I think I will thank thrakx for the Tiny Pots. Not because he he was the one who "got them for us," but because he was basically the icon of when the community was actually united. No credit, but thanks where it's due >.>
Most of what he did imo really wasn't stuff to be proud of and he went overboard way too often and way too far in a community that from the beginning was not made that way. But then again it was unique personalities like him that gave our community flavor.
Bye thrakxy...there will be hundreds of imitators but none will ever be as special to SoS as you :O
P.S. Gawd this sounds like eulogies at a funeral >_>;;

way too far in a community that from the beginning was not made that way.
Yeah... he's been here since before OBT, so I'd say this is an invalid statement.
Thrakx, if you come around send me a PM and tell me how your trip went!

Darn right, and as someone who has known him for a while, I'd say he did a darn good job.
If rudeness is the price of progress, its nice to see that someone was willing to step up and run with the torch. There is a balance that I believe people like Thrakx maintain. Where there are a lot of people who will help at the drop of a hat, and praise this game to no end, there are also people who will criticize and rant. People who will see idiocy and not tolerate it. Heck, even I have been the target of Thrakx's epic facepalm posts. I am not immune to idiocy, so dont think I am talking down on you.
so where he bullied, where he complained, where he stood on the soapbox and preached to the masses, there are now tiny pots and no more xens in lucky balls. The balance has been maintained.
so before you criticize anyone for "leading a Communist Revolution," look at all the Tiny Pots in your inventory, and rejoice, for that is what the "Revolution" has gotten. viva la revolucion! xD
So in the spirit of this thread, Thanks Thrakx, progress is not cheap, and it is not pretty, but its nice to be reminded that a strong voice can make a difference.

thanks thrakx =D
whether or not you went too far and were a little rude, you always seemed to have enlightening posts. You were one person I could count on to always have something interesting to read, and weren't afraid to complain. Haha i remember that one guy who said sos isnt gangster enough, and thrakx replied with like the most awesome post ive ever seen. lol.
like i said, whether or not i agreed with them, or thought he went too far, thrakx always seemed to have intelligent posts with reasons behind them. not just someone saying 'sos sucks and needs improvement.' he spiced it up, and made it worth reading, giving reasons and suggestions to improve, i.e tiny pots. which i know wasnt all his doing, but no one else posted like 3 threads in a row on the issue. lol. thanks thrakx .__.

Thrakx was the man behind the podium so to speak on the forums for the thread requesting the pots. The pots were already brought to DNC and they were discussing which sizes to release prior to the thread. Thrakx gave the community the thread to voice their opinions on them. Many people should get credit for the pots. Especially the GM's

First I want to say that I'm very sorry you had to take such hard stances thrakx. Because you loved this game so much, you knew there were changes that had to be made, and you went about seeking them in the best way you were able. You shouldn't have had to put so much time and energy into trying to get improvements for the game that should never have been left out of it to begin with.
I miss thrakx already, and wish he were still here right now. Thank you thrakx for that awesome thread you helped with explaining what all the different smilies are, and giving defintions to game jargon.
Thank you thrakx for standing with me and others trying to get more storyline developed for the game, and even though we've failed so far, I hope that your example helps to bring it about eventually.
Thanks for your out of the box ideas to improve the game, like your campaign to bring back some of the lucky balls as drops.
Thanks for your outspoken criticism of the focus on SC in this game. Maybe they'll eventually see that there needs to be more to this game than just adding more SC. I wish you were here right now to help us show Outspark how unhappy we are with the restrictive SC requirement for the Waste Disposal event.
Thank you for all the laughs, and good times I had here on the forums reading your posts. I still remember you responding to the RO threads that used to pop up all the time, and how you always chased away the Fiesta people who tried to invade our threads.
I miss you man! You definitely went overboard at times, and I didn't always agree with you or your tactics, but you stood up for the community time after time when few others would.

Thrakx did what he felt he had to get people to listen. Didn't he make people both care more and voice their opinions more on the subject, even if it was just to disagree with him? As far as I know he wasn't rude to "mostly the new people", because I met him when I first joined and he was actually nice to me compared to some other people. He tried to bring us together as a community with his posts and get this game improved for everybody not just himself.
Even I've been at odds with him sometimes but if he's truly wrong he admits it (he has given an apology to me before for something he said), but he won't admit it if somebody is going to smash it in his face.
He also knew that his frustration got the better of him in some of his posts and when I was still playing I helped him with some of the wording on them when he really wanted his message to be heard.
I mean, who are you going to notice first? The child eating quietly at the table or the one sitting on the kitchen floor banging the pots and pans with a ladle?

oO
people voiced their opinion even b4 thraxx made them do it, lol he basicly snapped at almost every person who didnt view an issue through the same eyes as he did.
Ha he tried to bring us together by making fools out of those that disagree with him? somehow that doesnt seem right
and as for the question: i would notice the quiet kid because i know he/she would turn out to be a better kid then the loud one, also i hate attention seekers >.> like a certain someone...
o and yea thanks thraxx for being the person who led the pot movement
