Honestly, What Is Your Problem

I have an archer alt, just recently leveled my cleric pretty high and statred the archer alt. The archer is level 28 so far... and I learned how to kite really well in the abyss. So the story is is that a lot of fighters and clerics who were fighting in that area saw me do all of this kiting and kept trying to pt me. I rejected all of it and many jsut went away. But many were also jelous....I kited a lot and while I am kiting this fighter partys me and I rejected and he kept doing it to me. He kept following me while I as kiting, then when I was about to start again he just started attacking me! stunned me and killed me, it was pure jelousy, partying me the minute he saw me kite, following me even when I rejected 10 times, I really knew he was just going to leach off me. This also happened with a cleric...but I ignored cause he did very low damage..

Anyway has anyone had this problem before to?

yes and not just in the abyss it has happen to me

when im questing for quest items i normally get spammed with party invites which is annoying and if i dont join they start ksing me -.-

but they regretted it when i bring massive mobs and they cant handle them ^^

Well, IMO, in most cases. The reason for them partying is that they need a little bit exp to level up. Once they leveled, they'd probably leave you alone. I had these experience with low levels entering the 50+ abyss asking for party. they just needed 10% then theyd leave. I have no reason not partying them and besides it helps killing faster, although exp will be divided ofcourse, but no biggy about it.

But i would know if they're just going to leech or take advantage of me when they shroom a lot or ask to put it in free allocation:mad: then it would be the time to leave them and grind on my own.

i seldomly get these cases.. but if they really annoy me i'd kill them if i can (in abyss). of course telling them to stop doing it before murdering them. Or if i couldnt kill them i'll just drag the party invitation to a side of my screen and continue what i was doing. if u press no it'll only let them invite again. i always train in abyss so i dont know about quest much. anyway when hunting for quest items i dont see the point of no partying them. it makes it faster and at the same time it helps the both of you.

lmao SAME thing happend to me the other day. Though Not in Abyss. I was on my 76 Archer and at AEW yesterday. With a T4 Speed, Vit, and Def Scroll nothing could kill me there. I was working on my Blue Trumpy Lic and there was about 3 other parties there.

What I was doing was just poisoning every trumpy I saw and while I ran I would use Poison Mist and Piercing Shot on the mobs trying to keep up with me. I was dragging at times 20 trumpies xD.

Obviously people were getting pissed I was NONSTOP killing I didnt take breaks or rests I never even slowed down. I was always killing something an hour straight. Then...a 7x Fighter came along and was like "pt plllllls" and he said it over and over and tried to invite me a bunch of times. I ingnored him, fighters, clerics, and mages are were no use to the type of fighting I was doing. So he started following me and Mocking the mobs that I aready had poisoned and killing them =/ So he was keeping me from completing my lic. Then when I clicked on him the game froze while I was dragging a bunch of trumpies and I died Dx

He didnt exactly kill me but if he hadnt been annoying me I wouldnt have clicked on him. In 45 min I had gotten 60%+ on my Trumpie Lic =p

same problem with fighter mockin' my mobs happened to me while doing kidmons quest a while ago...
it was really annoying cause it was not easy to pull ONLY kidmons D=
and also as I asked politely to stop stealing my mob, they (cause it was a full party) started to grab tons of karts miners (which happen to have high damage) following them and go by my way so I poisoned them by mistake and eventually die =(

too bad I had a T4 speed tho Nyan~ =3

Usually people do get jealous of our kiting ability. I know a lot of fighters boast about how great they are and how high their damage is. There is jsut something about when they see us pulling mob sizes they could never imagine to pull, they become jealous. The person who they say "sucks the most" and "Could never beat me", is actually the best soloer in-game. One time in abyss (lvl50) this was before running and using skills was implemented. I was a full end archer with t3 def,vit,speed, mag def scrolls in the big room alone (you MUST have aoe cool downs maxed, otherwise it takes too long to kill.). I aoe kited the whole room alone with no help. It was really good xp and cash flow. Then about two hours in a party comes in while i have the whole room on me, and hey try to pt me. I finished off that mob and told them exactly this, "Sorry, but i dont need any help." and they left. After the room respawned i pulled then all again then out of no where there mage attacks me. He did not do much damage because of the scroll and i had no problem keeping myself alive, because he was the only thing attack me (other than the vivi's still in range.)

I told them this, "Attack me again, you all die." and while I was pulling the next mob, they all attacked me. I stopped, let the mob catch up with me, and pressed "0" (thats my natures protection). It turned at least 45 mobs on them, the mage died instantly, the cleric ran away with invincible and I killed the overwhelmed fighter and continued my training.

What am trying to get across is that, we have been the class that has be mocked and belittled, by just about everyone. When they see that we can do something better then them, it just outrages them. When people tell me to stop kiting, all i do is say haha and keep moving. If they KS me, i take a screen shot of the event and report them. In the end, it still a win win for us.

though it doesn't seem to work anymore at 8x's
even with the mob into the skill range it simply wont send the aggro anywhere away from you.
seriously someone gotta check out what's going on with NP >_<
mobs seem so confuse, and paralyse for and average of... 0.01 second <_< and then continue attackin' you -_-
I thought that it was maybe cause of the DPS skills so I tried NP with a non-poisoned mob.. still it wont work.
too bad cause that's a nice skill ._.

Really? O.o....wow, NP is an OK skill, i feel as though it should also have some sort of effect other than aggro loss. If it works on everything but 8x....Wow. I guess i wont be aoe kiting in there seeing as ive heard that there are too few mobs and the MISS to HIT ratio is crazy without dex.

I've found really only a few archers who would ks, at least over 7x~8x levels, most of KS'ing come followed with an apologize besides when a fighter mocks, and some of the monsters ran away from him no one realizes later, they were a while before part of their mob, so attacking them might not be ks anymore although we cannot say same with archers, I've been several times KS'ed and I can assure that cause our mob is always green... and anyone can notice what bunch of monsters conform archers mob..
to say "sorry, I didn't realize it was your mob" wouldn't make any sense as a valid apologize D=

at 6x Abyss I used to enjoy it, since I pulled entire rooms without cleric, and takers mock seem to fail in 2/5 of the mob, NP was my better ally to stick to the alive peoples world <3! x)

Not only archers have this problem but mages as well, you see one mage pull a huge mob and nova them then all of a sudden your wanted by all. And because they can kite at such a young level of 20 it just makes people so much more jelous(at archers and mages).

Lol same, i want NP to work and i also want to to add some other effect. like say there is no one around to transfer aggro to, make the mobs freeze there for a few seconds or make them go back to where the were, this would greatly increase the number of times i press 0. When there are no people around and i am about to die i just scroll outta there. Instead i could freeze them there and run.

Agreed, every class gets KS'd...theres just not much past reporting that we can do about it.

In my experiences, when I'm on my cleric I'm usually KS'd by archers...before I get jumped (since I am in the archer section)...no, I am not dragging all of their previously attacked mobs. As a cleric, I don't have the ability to take their aggro unless I'm in their pt or spam healing them. In many cases, I will be surrounded by mobs only to have an archer 'help' me kill them. Then I get a pt invite...which I instantly reject.

Its different on my other characters. On my fighter I get one or two archers that will ks...but for the most part its clerics. I'll have a ton of mobs and they'll just whack away and heal me like it makes it ok.

I'm not trying to target anyone or any class I'm just trying to point out that its not just archers and mages that get this treatment. Everyone does.

Yea the "under powered class" as everyone thinks all of a sudden becomes the popular guy when he solo's. Then when he stops he goes back into being the loser.

for fighter: t3/t4 speed + huge mob+ natures protection

for mage: pummel some arrows and DoTs and they run

for Cleric: Not much of a threat :3
