Alright, GMs can ban them if they're reported. But when GMs arn't on, bots can dance wherever they want.

So, I suggest to spawn unbeatable, non aggressive monsters with random name, who consider the same lvl range than other monsters nearby, wandering about everywhere.
By looking how bots work (look for a target / attack / loot, rince repeat), they will soon all be glued to the invicible mob, leaving us, true players in peace.

I agree with this idea.

Sounds worth a try,as long as the 'invincible' mobs don't attack back so regular players can back away from mistaking it among the regular mobs.

IMO it should fight back, so the bots burn their potions / stones on it, and end wasting more money than they gain.

Yeah good idea.

It's a sound idea. They need to do something about bot farmers asap either way, that, and the gold sellers.

Ryzom did this, and basically made soloing impossible to some extent, which forced groups, which I liked.

I'm for it!

cept I'm not talking about killing soloing here. Just a way to keep bots busy (for eternity ?) and away from players while GMs arn't online.

Bots are never going away in the Gaming Series...
there's new Bots being made to this very day to every game...
they'll soon bypass that Invincible Mob one day...
so it won't really stop them for eternity...
but still it's a good idea :]
