I'm level 55, and I've been grinding in tolkin gorge for the past few levels and was wondering if I should move on to a different map.

in all honesty, you should grind wherever you feel is comfortable so long as its do-able for you.
but lvl 55... i believe back when i was that level (if i remember correctly) was grinding at TellingDenver Lake and a little further. Its located West CandyVault btw. Or you can go straight to East Candyvault.
