it can be anything

you may be a male aco and have a hard time finding party because a lot of people prefer female aco

you may be a girl who just want to play a decent game, and have to keep dealing with cheesy pick-up lines

or the assault/discrimination may be so obvious and inappropriate it makes you want to delete your character, and make a character of opposite gender

Nope. I don't see nearly as much gender/sexual harassment in SoS as I do in other MMORPGs. I remember back when I used to play Fiesta, I couldn't put my character in any type of skirt without getting an inappropriate comment (though Fiesta isn't as bad as a lot of others are). I find that for some reason, the more realistic the character models are in a game, the more immaturity there is when in comes to stuff like that. I'm glad that sort of behavior isn't prominent in the SoS community (or, at least that I haven't ran into it).

Then again, my main character in SoS is male. >_>

Like that guy that positioned his character so he was sitting directly underneath my dress. (-_-) In the short time that I played Fiesta, I must have received over a dozen proposals of the indecent kind. I'm not sure how it is in other games, though.

I haven't had any real problems with that kind of harassment in SoS, most likely for the reasons that you mentioned.

But i admit, i usually only party/duo with girl acos. Not because i intend to make rude comments or anything, but idk, guys just usually like female healers along better. And i think girl acos do a better job anyway (not all the time, but usually).
And my aco is a girl too, not because i wanted parties, it was actually because boy disciples, i dont like their outfit, look ridiculous in that gown/dress thingy. So i was like ok, my acos gonna be a girl.
And it is very awkward sometimes when random ppl hit on me when i use my aco, just a few hours ago actually, some random female app buddy listed me, and i was like hey girlllll, and she was like, oh im a boy in real life. Whats up?

This is part of the reason why i keep my whisper off and buddy list off? Someone asked why I had them off. I told him to go make a girl char and run through brynhild. >.<
If a friend or buddy is being silly and making comments that is okay depending on how far they go. If they are buddies then they know your limits. However having total strangers start making comments is creepy and pervy. I have warped out and deleted myself from parties because of idiotic comments.

I was actually in a party and one of the members left to get pots or something. The two remaining members decided to get all pervy. I started getting comments like " let me see your boobies" and other comments related to my char's breasts.

I think those two morons just show how idiotic they were. I just left the party. I think it is very stupid when guys sit there and fawn all over girl chars. " You are so HAWT", " OMG you are sooooooo fine", "will you be my girlfriend", "you are miiiiiiineeeeeee"! It isn't a turn on. It just makes me think they are little prepubescent boys stationed at a all boys' school. >.<

I actually was questing and had to go through bryn. My main char couldn't get the item because her level was too high. I switched to a lower char. The same person buddied me both times asking if i wanted to be his girlfriend.

I've had the same thing happened as someone above me mentioned. Someone asks to be on my buddy list. They are level 20 ish or so. I see it is a girl so i accept. Automatic pm comes through. Hi. Are you a girl? "Yep." I'm not. I'm a guy. I'm 42. Do you have a boyfriend? I delete automatically.

I came to SOS to play games not for hookups. I'm not looking for an in game lover. I have actually had a girl message me three different times asking if I wanted to get married. >.< She couldn't remember that I was a girl.

If you can't remember what sex someone is then maybe you should not ask to marry them. Pass that to Sayuri. She could use that as the quote of the day.

The third day she asked me that, I deleted her. This wasn't 3 times over the course of a year. This was 3 days in a row I believe. She isn't very bright.
