Hello everyone! I am proud to announce that OddBlock has opened its doors! And I am proud to say that no one shall be turned away =D We here at OddBlock are just here to make friends who enjoy treasure hunting, monster hunting, exploring the land of Iysa, leveling up, completing quests, and of course, goofing off! Unlike other guilds that may have a level requirement in order to be accepted, we have the exact opposite idea here at OddBlock. No matter what level you are, you will be accepted into the guild. All we ask is that if are under level 20 that you enroll in our academy. Once you hit level 20, we shall welcome you with open arms and you will have a choice of 5 different positions, which shall be listed at the end of this post. We take pride in the fact that, in our academy, we go out of our way to help the rookies of the game. If you need any help doing a quest or leveling up, you are free to whisper myself, Rune_Marceeo, or any of the other admins in OddBlock for help. We will drop anything we were doing to help you out! =D No matter what level you are, level 1 or level 18, you are welcomed into our academy with my personal guarantee to you 'We will train you to be better, or die trying...Literally xD'
The 5 positions that are available are as follows:
Council of War: A Council of War is someone who can think things over clearly without jumping blindly into a fight. You shall debate with other council members on whether or not to accept a declearation of war before reporting back to Garyx, Head of OddBlock war affairs.
Council of Advertising: A Council of Advertising is someone who can and will spread the word of OddBlock through the land of Iysa. You shall recruit new students for the academy or the guild.
Council of OddBlock Business Affairs: A Council of OddBlock Business Affairs sounds like a tough job, but really isn't. All one must do if this position is chosen, is simply keep the guild storage semi-well stocked, making sure that our academy students don't go unrewarded for their hard-work and dedication. Any questions reguarding this position are directed towards SilentSong, Master of OddBlock Academy or Shibbles, Head of OddBlock Business Affairs.
Elder of Academy Student: Being a Elder of an Academy Student is a slightly more complex position than the others. To be an Elder of an Academy Student, one must be either level 15 or higher OddBlock Academy Student or a former graduate of OddBlock Academy themselves. Your main duty is to see your student through their academy journey, making sure to answer all their questions in a kind and informational manner. Each academy student shall get one Elder assigned to them to level them up until level 15. At level 15, a OddBlock Student is considered a senior and shall recieve more freedoms than 'younger' students. Any questions reguarding this position are directed towards SilentSong, Master of OddBlock Academy, or towards myself, Rune_Marceeo, Guild Master of OddBlock.
OddBlock Guardian: A OddBlock Guardian is the most honorable title one can have in OddBlock. A Guardian is a righteous being who participates in guild wars and come to the aid of OddBlock Academy students who require a guardian in a dangerous map. Aside from these jobs, Guardians patrol the areas of Isya, ensuring all Bijouians are not in any distress. They live by the OddBlock moto: 'Bijouians Unite!' Any questions reguarding this position are to report to myself, Rune_Marceeo, until we have appointed an admin for this sector, The Commander of The OddBlock Guardians.
We are currently looking for admins for the following sectors:
