View Full Version : A Call to Outspark.

This is Directed to the Outspark staff and Crew.
As you may or may not know, much of the community feels that you are no longer caring about the players. Many feel that you no longer care about the players, and simply care about the Cash you make from the Cash Shop. Honestly, I feel the same way. but i havent given up quite yet.
Outspark Staff and Helpers, i would like to directly speak on this thread. i hope to open up a relay between you and the players. i will not tolerate players flaming staff or other players, and i sincerely ask that the Outspark staff doesnt push their Cash Shop stuff. I sincerely hope that I can open up a gateway that allows players to discover that you do care, if you do. I'm rather angry at many choices you at Outspark have made, but I'll stay open minded and listen to anything you might say. i sincerely hope that SOMEONE in outspark, whether it be a CL, GL, GM, CSR, etc. will reply to this thread sincerely.
Thank you for your Time.

I guess is about time to settle this type of matter in a civilized manner.
I'm hoping aswell that we can have something to talk about that can be fixed for the common good, there is always a win/win situation for everyone, let's try and find it Outspark Staff.

I've sent a PM To GM Snappo, CL princess vivianne, and SKiNG to get the word around. i hope that they will promptly respond, and we can all discuss this in a civilized manner, and end all of the angry and hateful threads that have been posted recently.
Outspark, this is your chance to show us that you arent a faceless and uncaring organization. I trust that you will make the right choice, and look forward to speaking to you all on this topic. Thank you.
EDIT: I really think it's important that the Community and Staff can Communicate civilly and discuss topics like this... im hoping that the Staff will pay attention to this post... besides, i enjoy discussing topics like this XD

I truely hope this works...who knows, maybe?
I enjoy the game but as a high level player feel it is severly geared towards low level players and the high lvls get ignored (sometimes even forced out with the abyss and GHS and enhancement issues) I'm not sure if we are forgotten or just the fact that we are here is an advatage that OS takes for granted. We do love our game or we would drop off like flies (actially many have) and I hate to see my friends leave. We really would like to get explinations some times for things that are done.. we are not children...many of us, and we have grown up with the game. If it's money you need, budget issues, let us know that, I'm sure we will find a way to help or in the very least understand without too much griping.

Good, these are the kinds of posts im searching for in this thread. Both sides need to let the other know what we're complaining about civilly, because if it's in anger, neither side will listen.

I am open to discussion within the limits of not breaking any NDA or company privacy rules. AND all CLs, GLs, GMs, CMs are left out of this discussion. Please keep in mind that while those 4 groups are the face of the company, ultimately, final decisions are made by those that manage them. Also remember that CLs and GLs are purely volunteers and should never be blamed for any decision made by Outspark.com and it's staff.
It is 11:54pm where I live at this time and I will be open to questions for as long as I can stay up.
Please keep questions civil and logical.
I will start with some comments of my own.
Outspark is going through a lot of internal changes which at this time, I cannot discuss. Our staff may not have as strong of a presence like we once had for the fact that we are in a process of change. There are a lot of good things we're trying to do (internally) and we can only ask for patience while we re-organize our resources. We have many plans for the future and believe it or not, it will not always involve "sales give me money!". So please let me be the first to apologize if we have not exactly met the standards that all of you expect.
Regards,
SKiNG
P.S. I'll keep refreshing the page to answer as promptly as possible.

Ok, sorry for asking the GM's and such to join in, i wasnt aware of those standards.
As for the internal changes and such, I totally understand, i believe the community really just needs to know that we arent forgotten. i think that the glitches that arise from patches frustrate many people, though i realize that's to be expected. I've got a few questions though.
For my first one, why have some skills been left out? (archers self buffs, for instance, such as the evasion one, or the party buffs).
P.s., Sorry for not being on when you were to make it all more convenient for you D:

No problem.
Those skills that are left out were the decision of Ons On (the developer). One thing that makes it tough for us as a publisher is working with games that have history already. Fiesta has been in service in other countries much longer than ours. What this means is the developer will choose to make decisions based on data/history from their previous services. Hence the choice to remove some skills based on balance decisions. We have asked many times (since december of last year) to reconsider the missing skills. At that time, there was not enough data to prove that these skills were needed. 2 months ago, we revisited the issue and our team (including Dakkon) re-reviewed the current skills not available. Some skills are being proposed for a revamp so they make sense. I can't guarantee they will be coming, but we are working on it.
Keep in mind that american gaming culture is much different than of Asia. So some balance change requests are not easily understandable from their standpoint.

Is it the same case for the old mock animation ? Do OOS think it's useless to give it back ?
When we see tons of different hairstyles and colors, why not give them to us too ?
Why doing that new level range in abysses ?
Why putting the exp loss when death by a player in abysses ?
Why is the PVP KQ only every 3 hours ?
Why is the exp in GM KQ same as KKP KQ ?
Why are the reward chests in GM KQ empty ?
Those are only a few questions that I have, but I'm sure others have some as well...
Maybe you have some interne restructuration, but is it really that hard to take like 1h to not only read (because apparently you read the threads), but to answer
Even it's just a phrase, just to let the community know that you hear it... We can and do understand that OS doesn't always have the possibility to do what we ask. But why not answer us truthfully, like you just did, to tell us those things ?
It feels like we're a bunch of kids, who can't understand the world of adults and can only whine, so why OS would bother with us ?

I realize it is very late its 4:30 here, my question is why does it seem to be much much harder for the higher lvls to play ie enhancements abyss and ghs hits etc? we are really loosing a lot of high lvl people. And (btw) most of the ppl I play with are in thier 20's I myself am in my 40's so being treated as a child does not fit here lol.

Hmm, to sum up your initial questions regarding KQ and PvP, those are just design choices made by Ons On. It's like Mario Bros. choosing to make the "Flower" give you the ability to throw a fireball. I don't really have a solid answer for those questions other than the fact that this is a PC game and we do have the ability to request changes that make sense. You can refer to my answers to nimbus. It somewhat relates to the answer you're looking for.
And yes, it is hard to take 1 hour to answer threads. We barely have enough time in our normal work day to do what we need to do. Why am I able to answer now? I'm at home right now on my 4-day vacation answering questions out of my own personal time. :) But I do agree that we should do our best to commit a little more time on the forums than we currently do.
Some things can't be answered in it's entirety. Whether it's because what you're looking for is not final or because we ourselves don't know either. It's a tricky job to be able to provide truthful answers because of the nature of the business. Which is why the most common answer in any gaming company is "soon". In this business, everything is always subject to change. And this can be due to almost anything... bugs, schedules, resource, etc.
If we give too much of an answer, there is a more likely chance that something will change on us. Then the community perception is we make broken promises. If we don't give enough information, then the community perception is that we're not doing enough. So choose your poison. :)

Well, I can't really answer that specifically to what you're looking for since Outspark did not design the game. But what I will say is, aren't games typically harder as you progress through the game? This conversation can really go in-depth as to design decisions, balance of game, life cycle of the gamer, end game content and so on and so on.
When you say high levels, what is high to you? When you say 20s and 40s, are you talking about your age or level?
If you are talking about levels, we have made very signifigant changes in the leveling curve with Fiesta. Fiesta is really much easier to level since 4-6 months ago. I'm sure any veteran Fiesta player can vouch for that.

Is anyone working on changing the evasion in GHS and 8x abyss or the enhancement levels?
It currently takes me 7+ hp stones to solo one moster in abyss and I have yet to try soloing in GHS since the change, on my 82 fighter. And you have heard, I'm sure many times about the level of enhancement failures with gold/reds and blues. I, myself spent $50.00 to do one set of sword and shield I don't know how a teen can afford this.

A while ago there was the premium items inventory bug...
to get to my teva.. i had to unload 3 pages of premium items into my inventory bags of my characters...
I was quite unhappy about this but at lvl 8x and being a mostly solo cleric at that time... i needed my teva... i just cant afford to loose exp...
then after the bug was resolved i emaild outspark to have my unused un needed premium items put back in the premium item inventory.... so i get at least the use of my inventory back...
to my surprise... i got a big No they could move items to another character but not back into my premium inventory... im shocked and dissapointed :/ seriously... i have now 3 characters with premium items in inventory that dont need them.... because of the bug witht eh premium inventory...
The least outspark should do is take care of such issues from ppl who pay... anythin that can still be done? cause my characters are still loaded with premium items in the normal inventory....

About the evasion, I believe these rates were adjusted, 2-3 weeks ago. I could be wrong though. I'll check on that. As for soloing a monster, what level are the monsters to you?
The price of stones are debatable and i'm sure there will be others who disagree with you. This conversation would also take a long time to discuss as your previously given questions. Because this is a game that requires strategy, luck, and skill, take into consideration of balance, efficiency of item, availability of item etc. A lot of your questions require much more time to answer so I apologize if my answers aren't what you're looking for.

I am sorry I need to get some sleep SKiNG...The monsters evasions were adjusted upwards grossly and many many people have complianed (I know i spelled that wrong sorry).... that is why I am bringing it up now. Both Abyss and GHS are virtually impossible for anyone in the 8x range to hit in anymore, even with Aim t4 and charms training in either place is very frustrating.
I appreciate you time, I will check back tomorrow (later today) for any more answers. Thank You so much for your time ^^

Sking if you have the time or are still there i wanted to know the rules or a link to the rules or statements given on the Abyss there alot of questions i have on it myself. Cause lately ive been hearing things of people getting into trouble for spawn killing at the gates to abyss which if i remember right or am wrong i heard that there is no rules in abyss since it is a PVP Zone which is right cause if i can kill in the Free Battle Zones as i please then what makes the Abyss so different?

Well there are no official rules. Technically yes, you can spawn kill in the PvP zones. But those who choose to spawn kill should definitely keep in mind to not cross the line of harrassment. Now where the line of harrassment is really subjective. It's a touchy subject for sure. You can't really define rules for PvP because there's a different rule for every situation.

why do people get so angry over a death in abyss? I get around 20 report screenshots, sent them to Fiesta_Help, got no answer for 2 weeks, then I see a thread saying that Fiesta_Help is closed. I don't want to have to send 20 (actually more now) report screenshots to support@outspark.com about 5 different things (spamming, swearing, harassing, account sharing and buying SC for gold, etc).

The change had to do with resource management. It was decided that instead of having different channels for different types of support, to consolidate all reports to one channel. It was too much management for different reasons:
Same questions being answered for the same person because he/she decides to send the same thing to 4 GMs, a Help Box, 3 CSRs, and the Support Email. So essentially, you get possibly different answers or one team member assuming someone else will answer. We had different channels for different types of reports but it was too confusing for new users to find out who to send what to who.
As for you report not being answered, im sorry I do not know the situation or reasoning. Do you remember when you sent the report?

Ok I have 2 quick questions I hope you can answer.
This one you did not answer for the other person. Is there any chance we will see more hair styles and hair colours in the dressing room soon because I know alot of people want different hair styles and colours especially blonde. The dressing room has been out for quite some time now so is there any reason why we have not got these extra stuff added to the dressing room yet. (Its about time FataLace was not the only non staff member using a character with blonde hair)
2. With this recent patch the level restrictions were removed on the dungeons again and master can now warp to any member including the abyss. Was this recent patch infact using old data which reverted it back to one of the earlier patches?

Here are some things I have been wondering.
#1, the party bug. This bug has been present for nealry a year now. And it seems nothing has been done about it. Where people randomly "drop" out of parties, even though they still show in the window as in it. Very annoying to have to figure out which person is bugged and reform them.
#2, Checks and balances for GL's. GL's in game have been acting innapropriatly and abusing thier authority. Causing a very unsatisfactory game experiance for many players. Yet nothing is being done to address this. I myself have sent in SS of actuall evidence of that. Let usa also not forget the Apoline Helga raid.
#3 Raid content. Many many months ago that was mentioned by GM's from Outspark. But nothing since. Where are you taking this game? A pure grind fest for levels sake? Or adding actuall content that requiers teamwork and dedication?
Thats it for now, at least my main concerns, Thanks

As much as i appreciate fact that we have at least "sign of life";) from heads of OS but i noticed something what makes me really question OS motivation.
SKiNG have "Product Manager" label, Joker have "Customer Support Manager"...
In other words we are no longer Game Community but nothing more as OUTSPARK CUSTOMERS.
And that is a base for my perhaps foundamental question.
IS Fiesta still a game or is nothing more as Enterprise focused at make as much money as possible?
Perhaps OS should reconsider to appointed Press Secretary in order to reply at customers posts if they cannot afford at least one hour to check forum of thier OWN PRODUCT and reply at any concerns of thier customers.
I will be very gratefull for straight answer at my question without slipping to "Say much, saying nothing" rule witch is lately one of the major rules in OS replys.

I'd like to thank SKING for using his free time to answer our questions.
I also had a question
I undertsand that enhancement is much more difficult in the later stages.this being said.
What has happened with the luck of enhancement? I used to be able to enhance a lvl 20 weapon with one stack of red and blue, however, now, it takes nearly 3 stacks of each...including gold nine.
I have noticed that since the gold nine's have been released, the chances for enhancement have decreased. I enhance all the time for friends and my in game wife so I noticed this right away.
Also
why are the red and eyes more expensive as you lvl?
If the chances decrease, what is the point? I need to buy twice as much anyways? Many people have stopped enhancing due to the amount of failures that have increased of late. I am just about to throw the towel myself.
Thank you for your time in advance.

From my view, the thing that makes the people so frustrated is not necessarily the changes, but the responses from the officials.
Why does Outspark feel the need to reply us in a rude way? Why do you feel the need to promote SC items at every possible opportunity? Why do you only reply to topics that flame and ignore the useful ones? Why do you start EVERY SINGLE comment with 'lets talk in a civil matter' even if they are?
It is very frustrating to see a topic based on flames get attention, while a topic with suggestions get completely ignored. Most responses we get from GMs and CSRs are either rude, or SC promotions.
It would help so much if you would just occasionally reply 'we are aware of your problems and are discussing it with the programmers', or something like that.
(i'm sorry, I used 'you' since you represent outspark, not as a personal attack.)
Unfortunately, almost all responses I see were more like 'Issue? We are not aware of an issue. Maybe its your built! Go buy stat reset and make it dex!'
or 'If you can't talk in a civil manner, we're closing this. Bye!'
I think that that is what got on peoples nerves. The nature of the responses rather than the issues themselves. I'm sure people who love this game would like to keep waiting for improvements if you would jsut let us know you are working on it and trying your best to make this game as fun as possible, even if you have no say in what happens it would be nice to know you voice our suggestions/ideas for Ons On Soft.

Thanks for your time in advance. My first question is what is the standard queing time for the support to sent a reply.
I have sent in one a couple of week ago and I did not hear any feedback yet. Today I sent in another one regarding repeated and deliberate training. I want to know how long I suppose to wait so that I can consider it is a mail lost and resent again.
My other question is each company have vision and mission, what is outspark's vision and mission. By asking this I want to know what outspark really stand what outspark see as important. Many company have it published in their introduction page but I can't see to find it please point me to it if there is one listed.

"Outspark is going through a lot of internal changes which at this time, I cannot discuss. Our staff may not have as strong of a presence like we once had for the fact that we are in a process of change. There are a lot of good things we're trying to do (internally) and we can only ask for patience while we re-organize our resources. We have many plans for the future and believe it or not, it will not always involve "sales give me money!". So please let me be the first to apologize if we have not exactly met the standards that all of you expect." SKiNG
Please try to be patient and undertsand that it's only titles. I'm sure they have limited control over their own titles...besisdes when does a title change a person?
SKiNG was nice enough to stay up all night on his day off to talk to us.
Yes it IS a business and Yes we ARE cusomers.
Please read SKiNG's previous posts....I worry that what someone says, instead of asking a simple question may shutdown this two way conversation very quiclky.
I hope you have gotten some sleep SKiNG :p

Ok, thanks, it's good to know that we're being thought of. :D

Relax, it's just titles. we ARE technically outspark customers. But that's not a bad thing. as a company, you would want to support and make your customers happy, correct? also, they have to do much more important things with their time, such as enhancing their product, so i totally understand if they dont have much time... idk, i couldnt really understand your point there.

I've seen things like this happen on other threads, and i think that's where a lot of the hard feelings are coming from. For example, once, in a thread talking about a random event, a staff member used the time to promote blessing of teva. idk, i just think that that's where frustration is coming from. could you please explain why the large marketing campaign has been put into place when theres already plenty of places for us to hear about new items? (i.e. the launcher screen, the main fiesta page, etc.)

*Sigh...* I feel like i wander in labirynth of unspoken things and half truths.
I really do not known how i should post because my reserve of arguments are empty now.
After read couple threads i see that almost all post from side of staff begin whit words "Lets talk i civilized way"..., but i really wish to known OS definition of civilized talk.
Situation is bad and all signs at sky and earth show that will be worst and that is also a sign or me that it is time for say Good Bye Fiesta, because i have only two option left.
Continue my <somehow pointless> effort to rebuild failing apart bridge over rift between staff and community or give up and watch as everything will fall...
I am not pretend to be Fiesta Savior or someone whit delusion of grandure but i am old in off to watch at Fiesta situation whit knowlegde how world work.
You say that titles are not important... forgive me but there is a phrase "Show me your work title and i tell you who you are", and so sometimes title can be best answer for asked question.
And last subject.
When i reread staff replys <especially Joker's> between words i saw something what made me very sad.
I saw growing up anger that we dare to challenge thier great wisdom and nonmistakeable way of handling situation.
I am sorry but untill at this forum will come people older as +13 witch known "rules of engagement" in real life you will face critical posts unless you start active using tools of silence to gun down any poster who will dare to ask uncomfortable questions.
I saw couple post in manner "If you do not like then quit", soon this phrase might become much often grim reality as OS will wish but i want to explain something.
Critic usually mean that we do not agree whit certain situation not because we like to criticize everything and everyone.
Furthermore critic is usually used to pointed negative issues in hope to achieve certain improvements, but what is important that side witch critic is directed should be ready to admit that there is something wrong and signal will for improvement.
So far in OS post i do not saw such will.
They stand at the position that everything is fine and we just egzagerate everything.
"We still gather feedbacks"... *sigh* apparently i miss some point here but 30 minutes of checking forum will give all necessary feedbacks needed to generate clear picture of situation.
I will observe development of situation but whit less and less hope of change in staff atitude toward thier own customers...:(

It would seem SKing is human, after all, and succumbed to his fatigue and the allure of a few hours of sleep promised to him by the bed and pillow...
I know there are a lot of questions left unanswered (and many more left unasked), but we should be thankful -the guy is on vacation and he still came here late at naight to talk to us and answer what, to him, are work-related questions. This being said, we do say thank you, SKing.
I do, however, have a question of my own -should he ever come back to this thread:
Would it be possible to make a thread like this more common? Like, once a month a representative (not always SKing, but someone with the authority/knowledge to answer questions more definitely than most volunteers are able) shows up and makes a thread where the players are able to ask reasonable questions and have them answered? It doesn't even need to be monthly, just more regular than it is now, I feel.

Kat, I understand what you're arguing, but he sorta did answer things. It's not the answers we want, and not the ones we want to hear... but it is something, and that is hopeful. Though, yeah... I don't think they're much ready for our input to make the game better, since no matter what we tell them they seem to go the other way. That also probably isn't much decision for outspark, either. From what I'm getting by reading SKiNG's posts Ons Onsoft holds all the chips in this poker game. :/ Think of it this way: OOS is a mafia boss, and OS is the mob. The mob does the dirty work and gets mud in their face by taking the brunt of everything, while the boss sits lavishly giving nothing but orders and eating the finest foods.
Seems OS can push for things and hope for the best, but really can't do anything at all. No offense.
But thank you so very much SKiNG for taking time from your personal life to answer our questions! It's wonderful to finally hear from someone who can give us a little bit of reassurance of what's going on. And as always, you deliverer beautifully. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

DISCLAIMER: I apologize for this incredibly long reply. It was meant primarily for SKing, and no, he doesn’t have to reply. However, I do hope that he takes the time to read it.
Thank you SKing for responding to these and other posts. I hope you continue to do so.
What I'm about to say here, I've probably complained about before, but I've made an attempt here to be more constructive.
Rate of success for enhancing:
1.) I understand what you've said in recent posts regarding this, but I have been playing this game for some time, with different characters, at all levels, and I have to say that I have noticed a dramatic decrease in the success rates, regardless of the item level. If this is just coincidence, then I’ll just have to say that I’ve been the unluckiest player in game for approximately the last 5 months. And even though I can ultimately only speak for myself, the majority of people I have discussed this with in game seem to agree; as well as the number of posts on the forum would lead me to believe that, even if there was no change made, that obviously something is wrong and should be addressed.
Customer service and service recovery:
1.) I have run into a few bad attitudes and negative comments from OS staff. Generally, these have come from GLs and CLs. It’s still unclear to me whether or not these people are Outspark employees, or just players who have been “tapped” to help out. This is not to say that they are all bad. My most positive interactions have been with the CSRs. Hal and Joker, in particular, have been exceptional. I think this might be why some of us opt to talk with, or PM, the CSRs for help and answers, instead of the GLs and CLs, particularly if we feel like where going to get criticized. If OS is going to continue to rely on these people for help, I would suggest some customer service training and more rules regarding what they can say and do. Maybe Hal and Joker can hold a training webinar or something.
2.) I have received a lot of conflicting statements from OS personnel. One OS member says the game is still in Beta, another says its not. One OS member tells me to report something via PM to a CSR. That CSR PMs me back and says that I should have e-mailed it to support. Round and round we go. These are just a couple of examples. Going by one of your posts, you stated that the “support” efforts are being consolidated. If so, then hopefully these kinds of experiences will decrease.
3.) I have experienced a great deal of player harassment, kill-stealing, and theft of dropped items in this game. In the past, I did what OS and the game’s ToS told me to do: report it. I can only recall two occasions where the matter was dealt with. The rest of the time I either never received a reply (even after repeated attempts PM and emailing support) or when I did receive a reply, the support person would keep asking for screenshots and video, then reply that they were not able to tell what was going on, or that they were not able to make a determination. The problem I have with the latter is that #1 I do not have the capacity to capture video of my gameplay, and even if I did, I would have to capture my entire gameplay on the off-chance that somebody will do something wrong; and #2 In most of these incidents, it was very clear what the other player was doing and even admitted to it in the chat; usually saying things like “go ahead and report it, they’re not going to do anything,” or “why don’t you go whine about I can do whatever I want,” etc, etc. The general attitude is that nothing happens when you report these incidents, and some players in turn, feel like they can do whatever they want and get away with it. Consequently, I have stopped reporting. This is definitely an area that needs to be addressed.
Game content, update, and improvements:
I understand that OS is essentially administering someone else’s game and that many of the changes made come from experiences outside of North America. I’m not sure where they’re getting all their data from, but someone needs to remind them that this is not Korea. If the general attitude over there is such that they want a more PVP-style game, then I can understand their changes. It’s not necessarily the game I want to play, but if all of their “data” shows that that is what the majority of players want, then so be it. But how much are they reacting to player data from over there versus over here? I’m not sure how much input you guys get, or how much of our feedback reaches them, but I can’t help but feel that they are ignoring a large portion of the North American player base.
Fiesta incorporates many different aspects and styles of gameplay, but it seems that recently there have been many more “improvements” geared towards PVP and aggressive game play in general. Non-happy, non-teamwork type stuff. Again, if that is the general direction that this game is taking, then fine, I’ll go elsewhere. But I would have to say that many of us were enjoying the more social-network/ events/ community aspects of the game. That is why I started playing this game, and that is why I stayed, even throughout a lot of the problems and “incidents” that made me want to leave. I want to continue spending time with my in-game friends, and continue doing the things that we enjoy, but I can’t help but feel that we are continually being pushed aside and “stripped” of the aspects of the game that keep us here, and keep us together. It’s very disappointing to give you guys feedback about different things, only to feel like some of us are being ignored, that changes are being made that are the exact opposite of what we were asking for, and that the “leaders” who seemed to really understand us and what we wanted, have been replaced by people who do not understand us and who do not engage themselves. I realize that this item is a bit “vague,” but I hope some of this point gets across the ocean.
Sparkcash and cash shop items:
I understand that the game is free to play and that I do not have to buy anything. I also understand that you have to make money in order to survive. However, I have lost any urge to buy anything from the cash shop. I’ll cite my reasons why:
1. The increased cost of enhancing. This is what I was spending most of my SC on.
2. Lack of selection, costumes in particular.
3. Lack of confidence. Remember the great “server move” incident a few months back? You guys should’ve received a lot of complaints about lost timed items, but we got no reply and the issue was never addressed. I am NOT saying that you have to give me free stuff or boosts. I am saying that you have to address the problem. You have to give me some kind of assurance that the problem was addressed, and that you guys did something about it. The bottom line is that I have spent less after the server move than what I did before the server move. And since the update before last, I have stopped spending altogether. If you want me to start spending again, then #1 We need an official announcement that the game is out of Beta, #2 the ToS needs to be adjusted to allow for claims, or the term “claim” needs to be more clearly defined. As it stands right now, the ToS makes it appear that the game is sill in Beta, and that any purchases we make are essentially a gamble, that we can, and will, lose items, and that we have little, if no recourse when that happens. This does very little to boost my confidence. Again, you don’t have to even replace my lost items at this point, you just have to convince me that you have some kind of system in place to protect us, and that if it does happen again, it will get dealt with, that we have some kind of recourse, and that we will get some sort of (positive) response.
4. The gift system was definitely a step in the right direction. This is something that we have been asking for for some time and I’m glad its finally here, even though I’m not using it right now.
Anyway, those are the main “problems” that I have. I hope you guys can improve the game. I feel that you really have a lot of potential here.

Ah come on... I thought this was going to be a thread about someone who prank called outspark HQ.
I'm thoroughly disappointed with the OP.
Also, I would say outspark has the best staff out of any MMORPG I've played. They DO in fact care about their public/users.... Logically they have to if they want to sell anything from the Cash Shop.

Are we possibly going to get the "Go inside the minihouse" thing, in which we can decorate from inside of our house, invite people in, etc.? it's in the Korean version, and i really hope to see it soon :D
Some day....

Please, I was not trying to attack you I was simply stating if you put your post into the form of a question it might get a more satisfying response. ;)
I agree I hope we get dialogue on a regular basis with OS to answer questions but SKiNG said in his first post there are many things he cannot answer right now because the changes may not be set in stone.
No offence taken :).
Believe me i try every way to recive simple answer from them but all i get was only unclear answers.
But to end i will ask one last question.
What purpose have game forum if posts there <even in feedback section> are being ignored?
Fact that OS is during some mysterious changes period did not relieve them from staying in direct contact whit us.
Alright, i end here my contribution to this thread and will only watch if SKiNG will appear here once again ;).

I am "old school" writer and that is my style and i am not acustomed whit SmS style of posting.
Whit all due respect elisa but i work once in "large company" using OS term and we have once time of very complex changes but even in that time we have special section dedicated to contacs our customers so please do not tell me that OS is unable to detach one person just for monitoring Forum and players posts.
Like i say, i hope this thread will be first of many debate forums between us and staff.
this wasnt ment as a DEBATE. just a conversation between us in which we could both state our needs and what can be done to make everyone happier.
Ah come on... I thought this was going to be a thread about someone who prank called outspark HQ.
I'm thoroughly disappointed with the OP.
Also, I would say outspark has the best staff out of any MMORPG I've played. They DO in fact care about their public/users.... Logically they have to if they want to sell anything from the Cash Shop.
sorry for dissappointing you XD
i too like most of the outspark staff... i just feel that the gm's need to try and connect with the community sometime. The loss of dakkon hit the community hard. we need to have that connection again... that's where the point of recovery will be, in my opinion.

Well... from my point of view as University graduate each exchanging arguments extended <as in this case> over only Question and Answer style ( Will XP loss in abbyses removed? - No they will not.) is a debate :)
I will be happy to get even this sort of answer instead of permanent silence but do we really should achieve such cold stance between us and staff? .
Please do not treat this as something negative but as very welcome oportunity for bot sides to melt deep ice of distrust.

I just want to tell SKinG and Joker that they need to make their GMs stop advertising their sparkcash items in a thread that needs logical answer from them and not just a response basicly saying "With sparkcash you can fix it all"
Examples are the thread about the unscheduled even in uruga that whiped out an entire community that was vendoring afk and lost a lot of hard worked exp, and SnakeEyes comes in to tell us that its our fault, that if we didnt want to lose exp that we should of gotten a Blessing of Teva, this type of responses from your Outspark team is absolutly insulting to us, and not only that the even was also very nice punch in the face of the players.
Another example was the the Evasion Increase lvl80 abyss thread, players that have studied the very noticeable changes in the lvl80 abyss that had an incredible evasion increase for the monsters there, making it unplayable for anyone, even for archers that are pure DEX and there is a person that posted his stats he was pure DEX with a BK XBOW that gave him an astonishing 2k aim and he was still complaining that he missed 50% of the time, and then here comes CM Saphar saying that we (the players) did not invest enough stat points into our DEX and that they had an upcoming sale of 15% off and we should take advantage of it to buy reset stat scrolls, this is yet another insult to us players that know that this shouldnt be, for this archer showed that even with pure DEX build and hist equipment with High DEX stats do not work to play the abyss, we'll be basicly be wasting our money.
This are few things that anger me about your staff, and yet people say that your staff worries about our community when I only see evidence that they worry about the money.

In my opinion you all have messed the real issue at hand....Which is...
None of the people that run this game PLAY IT.......NONE of them play it... I thought demanded repeating.....
They are clueless to what has been added to the game...what the current problems of the game are....If dont think so well just listen to there answers....
They were hired to increase the profitability of the game nothing more nothing less...
If that intells pampering people on forums with half answers they will....but remember they have no ideal what is going on in the game, so ... YOU HAVE TO... speak to them like little kids to make them understand what is going on in game..... no offense intended but that what happens when they dont play the game they run...
This has been a issue with the game since the very beginning of Open beta launch...
When Outspark employees point to Korea developers for a way out of the conversation at hand...do keep in mind that game has been out for years and is lv150 cap and yet we are overwhelmed by new bugs every patch....Again the bug issues has been since the Open Beta launch and at that time Korea version already 150lv cap....I doubt trully all the bugs we get every new patch they still have..
If did keep occuring after level cap 150 game would have failed a long time ago in that region of the world, the competion for MMRPG is as hard as it ever has been and is only getting harder and wont stop it's a thriving market for them...... a pretty decent MMRPG game launchs every month almost or more...
Ill add a question since is suppose to be open debate...
What is the highest char any of the Outspark employees has ever reached without Spark Cash items. no names need to be included and if any have made pass Level 59 the first cap, are they included in the devolpment ideas and changes to the game from USA side of the discussion???
I trully doubt there is such a person on your staff from the responses I have seen since Open Beta was launched.
I'll Repeat my main point again since seems to pass by people sometimes.
THEY DONT PLAY THE GAME that is the problem....

I dont really want to defend Outspark here but I can see some problems with your post.
This game has people called GLs (Game Leaders) This is one of there jobs apart from banning people. Its meant to be their job to report stuff like this as one of their duties as a GL.
Secondly Korea's cap is still at Lv 129. The maximum level in this game is level 150 I believe so after you hit Lv 150 thats pretty much it for your character as in terms of grinding is concerend.
I cant say anything about the GMs hitting Lv 60+ legit but I know the game leaders definitely would've done that but then again its their job to play the game report stuff wrong with the game back to Outspark and they dont even get paid for it.

I may not be Sking but here's my opinion:
If they had time to play, I'm sure they would. He took time out of his vacation to answer everyone's question which means that they don't even have enough time during work days to do everything. Bugs and glitches and mishaps in game are because of the developers and programmers not, you can't blame someone who has barely any control to do something about that kinda stuff. You can't really compare the Fiesta here to the on in Korea since they are the first to receive everything. We'll eventually get what they have but that's all up to Ons Ons Soft. The staff has nothing to do with the games except to keep the community in control inside and out of them, what's in the game is not for them to decide. They, can however, can request for things, but who knows when and if they'll receive an answer. I admire the staff of Outspark, though recent times has been rough. The staff back when I join or even before I joined were a tight nit family and probably still are, but because of the "internal changes" as SKing has mentioned, has lead to some changes that the community don't like. Eventually I hope that the staff will start participating in the forums like they used to, but I understand with the workload they must have, it's nearly impossible.
They're just the staff, they're not to blame, if you're complaining about the SC necessity then you should talk to the president of Outspark and his financial group since it is most likely them who decide on what things cost and how to get them to sell.
If you're angry about game issues, find a way to contact Ons Ons Soft because they control what goes into a game.
If you're angry with me for posting this, too bad because this is my opinion.

i`m a great great fan of your games i like fiesta and pro pow.
but since those patches, and then no solutions for that, that makes me quit mt favorite MMO ever, fiesta!
i love that game and also pro pow.
i did everything, uninstall, re download but because i re downloaded i try to connect it says "there was an error logging you in".
so please fix that as quick as you can outspark, so me and this whole community will be happy and proud to play fiesta.

No personal not mad at anyone but i trully think that is the major issue is that the People in general that are giving feed back to Developers in korea have no idea what is wrong and would very easily know what you all are pointing out...if just came in game and played for even hour....As goes for Spark Cash I can care less I have never used it and have all 4 char types in 70-85 range..
Do you or any of you trully think any of the people running this game have a good grasp of the issues going on in game...If so why are you even on here asking for question to be answred, then to be told they where not aware and will have to get back to you.. I can play game for 10-15mins after any patch and find almost all the bugs so not that complicated..
My point about the Spark cash was because ppl contunie to point out how the game has made 2 classes in the game those who buy park cash and those who get owned by them.
thats free to play game but they would see why ppl complain instead of saying go buy skill reset to get in abyess to hit mons as an example of the Spark cash issue, there are many but that is one brought up in post

As goes to your level point of the currnet korea game still far pasts the one in this version and who is we are told are getting updates from since Open beta so dont make alot of since to have so many bugs when the cap has always been 70-40 lvs higher of game content if your level cap is correct for the korean version...
point was making there in last post.... was not the level difference but that there should not be bugs every patch when the Korean version is truly been the ginny pigs not us...but is side issue to major point which is... Umm i adressed all the issues being brought up including your Spark cash vs Non Spark Cash ppl which is why the post started.....
Personally i did not point out one gitch so not bug reporting others did bring it up tho and adressed there issue..
Again which all the issues in this post and 90% of the complaints on this forum is just lack of knowing what is happing in current version and patches added and could be resolved in my opinion if they played the game for not even that long..
Have not once blamed any Outspark employee just the way there approaching the problems you and many others contunie to ask for answer if its so easy for you and so many others to see whats wrong for a year + on many issues why so hard for them to...Simple they dont play game..there answers to your question make that bluntly clear....
Not attack against Outspark, if i didn't like game i just leave no good bye post or anything, but I do enjoy the game and am just giving my view as a person that has been here since beginning of this game.
Dakkon had a hands on approach to game so game appeared to run smoother since they got rid of that buffer has not...

You're stuck with the weapon that accompanies it, and get totally different skills than the other branch.
But this isn't what you made the thread for, so just let the GM's take your questions 1 at a time -.-

Mmm, lot's of questions to get to.
1. I can check on that. TBH, we've never been able to reproduce that bug on our end. It's hard for the developer to debug a bug without reproducing it first.
2. This has already been addressed internally and cannot be openly discussed.
3. Hmm, i'll have to go back to some old discussions to see what this was about. It could possibly have been the Helga dungeon. But i'll re-visit this.
Just a title. There are many things involved with working at a Publishing company (or the gaming industry for that matter) that can only be understood or discussed internally without breaking any NDAs. I can't really give you an answer that would make you happy.
We did recently appoint Saphar and Junglecurry to help out with our community in making announcements and talking to the users. We will eventually build upon this. Saphar and JC also help with other duties that were previously handled by our GMs. What this means is, this now allows our GMs a little more time to complete their daily tasks and essentially find more time to spend with our users casually in the forums and in-game.
Thank you for your input. As with my previous responses to the enhancement stones, we can definitely take a look again based on user feedback.
Thank you SKiNG, it is nice to finally see a reasonable response from Outspark.
Yeah, I have noticed that lately. I will speak to the team and we will discuss the impact our words have on the community. One thing I must add though is our GMs are under a lot of stress to make specific goals. Keep in mind that we are a business so I can't say that we won't promote our items. But I agree that the tone should be more sensitive to the user and should be appropriate to the situation. While I don't intend to make any excuses for them, they are not intentionally trying to sound rude. Again, we will discuss this matter internally.
The standard should be 24-72 hours. Our staff does their best to handle the amount of support tickets they receive. And they do receive ALOT!
I don't have the mission statement on me but it's basically bringing compelling social games from around the world and creating a virutal playground for everyone to enjoy.

I will observe development of situation but whit less and less hope of change in staff atitude toward thier own customers...:(
Product Manager is my appointed title but titles almost mean nothing at a startup.. Want to know why? Everyone here commits many hours to the company to make sure everything is running to our best ability. Even if the task is not what they are hired to do, we still do what we can to keep the company afloat. Given the resources, you'll often see half of the company working into the late hours. I calculated my average hours to be 70 hours a week. Because we work with Korean partners, our product managers (2 of us) have to work in the hours that our partners are available. This is working with all of our games, including the ones not released. GMs are usually percieved as "customer service" types but here, our GMs also do planning, marketing and analysis among many other tasks.
As for keeping things "civilized". What we mean is, if you plan to direct statements, questions or concerns to our staff, please refrain from insults, flames or unecessary rude comments. Is that too much to ask? The "civilized" comment doesn't mean we assume that all comments are going to be rude. What it is, is a request that we don't deter away from what the real discussion is about.
I used to have an all out question "ask whatever you want" thread during every maintenance. (Some of the veteran players may remember that) But since we switched maintenances to every week, that took a toll on me and I also became caught up in other work that needed to be tended to. Now that maintenance is split between a few of us, we can definitely do that again.

This one is a doozy :)
Enhancement
1. This thread has definitely peaked enough interest for us to probe our developers to do a sanity check.
CS (I do not represent our CS team in anyway but I will do my best to answer)
1. If at anytime, you feel a CL or GL approaches a situation inappropriately, please report it to us. They are volunteers and they may not have a grasp of our rules and policies in it's entirety. This is not to say that they are not doing a great job. They definitely help us in many ways.
2. Yes, I agree our format was a bit hectic. We have recently changed our rules. ALL forms of contact are to be sent to support@outspark.com. 1 channel and that's it.
3. This is something a CSR would need to answer.
Cash Items
1. Addressed in previous answers.
2. This will be reviewed.
3. We actually did address it. Not immediately since we were still trying figure out what happened ourselves. We extended the life on all cash items affected by the downtime. We also sent an email to users regarding the issue. There was also an official statement somewhere on the forum.
The beta phase is being discussed internally at the moment.
Thanks again for your feedback.
Another question for when you get back, SKiNG:
Are we possibly going to get the "Go inside the minihouse" thing, in which we can decorate from inside of our house, invite people in, etc.? it's in the Korean version, and i really hope to see it soon :D
We are also waiting for this to reach our test environment. We're excited about this as well.
Just a suggestion: it'd be cool if they had different colored cat ears and stuff. like, more variations on CS items. but they should come AFTER the main issues are settled
This is possible. Color suggestions?
My question is, since Ons on make many of the content decisions. Will we ever be able to talk to someone from Ons on?
I doubt it. But you can definitely go through us to relay information. While Ons On develops the content, Outspark DOES have say on content decisions.
Thank You
for any response your willing to offer Skiing
We actually DO have personal accounts that we play on. We have a guild and group together to play. This is required activity for the team. While we will be the first to admit that we don't know the game as well as our frequent users, we do know quite a bit. We run different scenarios in our groups with each person playing a different class and one lucky person is allowed to use any available cash shop item (that would be me :) ) for balance checks against non cash users.
And yes, we do have legitimate accounts that reached past each cap.
Yea the warp limits have been removed agian i saw a lvl 62 running around grave of abyss.
Sking just cause your the most awsome guy ever can you please go to the feedback forumns and read 10-28 patch feeedback post almost 1000 posts the and not a signle 1 from a GM or any other outspark emploie
It will take a while but i'll take a look.

Very easy to see what bugs has been given to us every patch if just play for 10-15 mins of game and just listen to people in game...
This is not intended to be attack against Outspark think they have a tough assignment with the resources there currently utilizing to manage the game.
Few things I want to note.
We have only a handfull of testers who test all of our games, including non-released games. The nature of a developer working with 7 different countries causes a lot of problems.
Example.
Korea Service Timeline
- Level 99 Cap
- Helga Dungeon Open
- Wedding System Open
- Housing Open
- 80+ Abyss open
North America Service Timeline
- Helga Dungeon Open
- Wedding Service
- Level 79 Cap
- 80+ Abyss Open
- Housing Open
Now, try imagining yourself as a developer (Ons On is a small team) servicing 7 countries which content is not released the same. Also consider language changes etc. So when the developer wants to provide a build to us, they have to chop up their korean build, drop the localized text, then keep tabs on which files are newer, which should be replaced etc. Here's where some of the issues happen. We test our first build, we find bugs, we report the bugs, the developer overwrites a file to fix a bug but possibly uses the wrong version. Then something else in the game breaks. Due to the size of the game, our test team only has time to check bugs reported and basic functions. They simply cannot test every single function/scenario/feature within the given schedule.
While you may think that we do not see or notice bugs that a normal player would see, this is false. Our database consists of thousands upon thousands of bugs. Which ones will be fixed in the next patch? That's something only Ons On can answer. But we do advise which ones should be fixed.
Hmm, as much as I would like to talk about Dakkon and his approach, I simply cannot. Let's just say we're in a cleanup phase and I'll leave it at that.
i would like to say thanks to SKiNK for getting to some of our question. i did not know about the problems with your staff and i hope your company will be able to make the change over successful. well i know my wording might be wrong but it the thought that counts, right :)
i would also like to thank the community for there input on all these matter and not truly going off topic. it looks like there are many players that care about this game and truly want anwers. i really want to thanks all that have posted.
for my question i would like to know the future plans for this game or for the CS system.
also is there going to be any system to let players move there permit to there alts?
No plans for that at this time.
Another Question: is there any new info on the Class change at lvl 120 and the differences that it will make? like, what's the difference between Sharp Shooter and Ranger?
I cannot release any info about this subject at this time.

Thank you for reply at my post and i see now that each company have different style of management but i was teach that no matter how difficult company situation is, client must be put at one of the highest places in the priority list because client without company will survive <just move to another> but company without client will fail.

I just want to note that everyone here cares as much as I do. Just because they aren't as vocal as I am, doesn't mean they care any less. They're all at the front lines fighting for changes as much as I am. There's a trade off, spend more time on the forums answer questions (most of the time, repetitive) or spend time documenting, planning, executing and fighting for changes. This is why we have made changes where Saphar and JC are spending more time on the forums so that there is a presence and our other staff members can focus more on the needed changes.
While I do agree that we need a stronger presence in the community as a whole, please do your best to not discredit all of the hard work they do behind the scenes. When they read comments where staff members are singled out, whether be bad or good, it gives them the impression that all of their hard work is for nothing. They are the unsung heroes whether you believe it or not.

i hope i am not to late on give my recommendation for cat ear colors.
the basic color would be fine like red green yellow ect.
but i would like to see white or silver ears
we can also have some unnatural ears with purple poke a dotted ones or cat ear with an earring.
Edit:
what ever happened to the cooking system and what does it do?
with the cat ear can we get a tail with it :)

To answer your question about monsters evasion for 8xers I was talking about in one of my early posts I was talking about the ones in the 8x abyss and just at the beginning of the GHS dungeon (Flame Honeying etc.) nothing out of range for my 82 fighter and as I said, after a few attempts then using charms (50%) and scrolls t4, I still have to use many (7+) stones before a kill is made, it's not that they are hitting hard, just that I cannot hit them and I am 60/30 end str fighter with str end dex gear and +9's. I have tried axe and shield and sword and get nearly the same result, makes for a very long, boring kill and play time. I have heard this from many many players this thread is just one example.

Wow! SKiNG, you may have just single-handedly restored my confidence in Outspark. Yes, I am aware that there are other really good people working behind the scenes, but the face of Outspark (i.e. some of the officials we have had contact with) have really left us with a bad taste in our collective mouth with the nature of their responses.
However, by taking the time out as you have (a pity it had to be from your personal time), you have certainly given me a reason to come back to the forums, and to see new hope in the improvement of Fiesta as an enjoyable game.
I have one rather serious concern: are you (Outspark) aware that the latest patches which heavily promote PvP (including, but not limited to, the abyss access level changes) have gone a long way to encourage moronic/dishonourable/bad sportmanship behaviour?
I'm not sure what the age restriction on the Korean version is, but when you heavily promote PvP the way the last few patches have done, to a target audience of 13+ years of age, then such behaviour (i.e. bullying) is basically guaranteed. It doesn't matter what country/culture you are from: kids, by nature, push the boundaries to the limit you allow them. (Though, admittedly, I've seen some 'adults' take advantage of the PvP promotional patches and act like juvenile delinquents :().
Anyway, my main question is really: is the future of Fiesta geared towards i) communal co-operation, common courtesy, team work and social enjoyment (like it used to be), or
ii) everyone for him/herself, high-levels killing dungeon bosses 'because they can', lack of consideration for your fellow player, kill-kill-kill! (like it's now becoming)?

Although I don't know if even he can answer that....either cannot due to OOS restrictions (secret) or it's too far off to say...or it's up to the players how it's played. I'd like to know an answer to that one also, I thought Fiesta was more about community when I began playing soooo long ago.

Actually the best Korean gamers are usually 13-18 years old. They are just raised differently. For them PVP is really important since many actually earn their living through it (or at least their parent want them to earn their living with it later so they promote it). Korean will always support more PVP, that's why they do all these changes to begin with. But it's different because Asians tend to be more polite to begin with. They use the Abyss much more for PVP but you'll see much less people complaining about it. Of course they are also like "LOLOLOLOL CHOBO"(chobo = noob) but hm hard to explain... they don't really mean it in a bad way.

I'd like to sincerely give my thanks to SKiNG for taking the time to answer all these questions. My withering faith in Outspark has just been restored a little.
I didn't have time to read all 12 pages of this thread, but I looked up all of SKiNG's posts and there's really only one thing of importance to me that hasn't been addressed yet.
Will we ever get our old animations back? This involves a wide variety of animations, namely movement and certain skills, that got altered due to a patch added in June.
Mock and Revive are the main skills that come to mind. Mock used to have a unique animation, but now it looks exactly the same as Demoralizing Hit, which can be confusing in parties because you can't always tell when the fighter mocks or not. Revive's animation used to last the full casting time, but now it ends short and the cleric must stand there as if they're doing nothing.
As for movement, characters look very stiff while running, attacking, using skills, etc. (The legs and lower torso look especially off). Another thing is that hair is stiff too. Ponytails and long hair used to actually move (you can see evidence of this in Centrix's "Tell Me" video) and long hairstyles for females now have an unnatural "curve". I took some screenshots of this, because you can still see the way it's supposed to look in the beauty shop and character selection screens:

I actually sent a detailed message about this issue to support but was dismayed to receive a very generic response in return that I could only assume was automated.

Kaykay i got some questions! :D (see this is why i like sking, sking talks to us! D:)
Is Outspark EVER considering fixing animations of all classes anytime soon?
Seriously, I mean like.. I dont knwo abotu other players, btu I relied on the animations so much, especially the fighter mock animation, and cleric revive animation (hard to survive clanking mobs trying to rev soemone if you have to stare at a itty bitty bar)
Admins no longer can invite ppl to guilds, but can ban. Was this intentional, a glitch, or something OnsOn snuck in without telling you?
Have you (being Outspark) ever thought of just hiring a GM or representative SOLELY for the purpose of answering players questions, problems etc? (Like what youre doing right now).
I know CLs arent really told ANYTHING about whasts going on. Same with GLs. And they are supposed to kinda be our GO-TO people. But have yall ever thought of seriously devoting a single person or few people to handling the players? You say you dont have much extra time on your hands.. then why not just devote one person or something to "suppressing" players. And I know the GMs are generally supposed to do this, or its said they are, but apparently they have other duties that are eating up all their time.
Its my personal experience that when theres some sort of authority (outspark staff in this case), players act better. They naturally do so, whether they realize it or not. Seeing the authority person quells their need to be rebellious, ESPECIALLY if that person does what youre doing right now: quenches our thirsty questions. Plus, as for having one in game.. that instantly solves our problems. I dont get a reply to emailing support for about a week or two. But if theres say.. a GM or GL in game and I get permy glitched in kq or something (Like last week I got stuck in Phino KQ map. Couldnt get out for the LIFE of me. I whispered the GL that was on, and she asked if I had done certain things to try to get out. In the end she had to port me out), but that solved the problem then and there <3 Instead of me having to wait a week, to get ported to roumen or something, and be angry buecause I had to go on another char for a week waiting.
Cus really, like 50% of the problems reported I would think, actual problems with the game Im saying, can be solved in like.. 5 seconds. ._. At least like 50%+ of the problems Ive had to report could be solved in like 5 seconds. ._.
D: Ill post back later when i think of more questions xD

Yes we are aware that the patches in recent releases heavily favor PvP. This was intended. While the outcome was not intended, we are watching the progress and will make necessary changes.
Well, Fiesta in Korea was geared toward Hardcore players. What this is defined as, is players who commit almost 100% of their time to something productive in the game like grinding and/or production skills. Keep in mind that Korean players play all their games in PC Bangs (PC Cafes). So their paid time is spent leveling as fast as they can to get their moneys worth. This is the norm in Korean games which is why you'll see a lot of Korean to North America transitions seem a bit weird with certain gameplay features. The guild war system in Fiesta is a good example. (We know it sucks)
When Fiesta was brought over to our service, many changes were made to allow for a more social environment that revolves heavily on community interaction and such. This was something that evolved, not something created from the start. It was through analyzing player trends and culture. But think about how that affects a developer who didn't intend to create a game of that nature? They have to take a game that was created for a different purpose, and make changes to their system. If you painted a picture that was your masterpiece, and someone comes over and says, "change the nose, it's too big. the eyes are blue, make them green. etc", how do you take it? So one of the challenges we have as a publisher is convincing the developer to change their work of art into something that someone else thinks is better. You're going to always see additions and changes that you won't like, but you'll have to give us time to "convert" Fiesta into what we hope to accept.
So to answer your question; Outspark's goal IS to "turn" Fiesta into, as you said, communal co-operation, common courtesy, team work and social enjoyment. But that takes time with every new addition/change already implemented in Korea's version.
Actually the best Korean gamers are usually 13-18 years old. They are just raised differently. For them PVP is really important since many actually earn their living through it (or at least their parent want them to earn their living with it later so they promote it). Has anyone from OutSpark at least looked at the poll?
I realized you guys have little time in a work day to read almost 100 pages of replies, but it would be nice to know if any of it is being considered even if the answer to most of it is "no".

As well as the other people who have posted it, I was wondering if OutSpark is looking into them to see if they may be changed back or kept as they are.
Behavior
I read what you said about OutSpark looking into the actions and responses of some of the staff, but what about the players who act inapporprietly?
I've never really talked to anyone from OutSpark, so I can't say anything about them, but most people have to deal with other gamers. If no action is taken when they are reported then what can we do to prevent bullying?
Thats all I can think of for the moment. I'll check back later. Hopefully I won't be getting people mad at me for bringing up old stuff.

I know that this is a problem for every one seeing that annoying message pop up from one of the people to advertise there sites to buy silver for the game, only to see one line someone actually talking when it dissapears before another ad line shows upto push it off the page. Yes you are trying to make money and support the game, but there are much less annoying ways to do it such as putting it on your start up page before starting the game. You have to realize that some people are just there to play the game and don't aspire for their character to be the strongest or best by opening up their wallets. If I wanted to do that, I would go out to the store and BUY a game to avoid all the extra annoyances that your team love to put in Fiesta. Wait a minute.... why am I still playing?

Oh heres a good one: Are we going to see an expansion of the friendslist soon? I know alot of players would love (me included) an expansion. On my mage I am full, and on any given day about 30+ ppl are online. Yet I still neeed more space for the ppl i cant fit.
I know it kinda defeats some purposes, but are we going to see a expansion of academy as well? I know some guilds have 50/50 and I knwo alot of those 50 are inactive, but.. most of it are peoples alts xD I guess, just a question
._. Im wondering.. weve alreayd been told you guys have "alt accounts" or might, where you are just regular players, but what do you do when youre not in-game visible on your 'staff' accounts? Do you sit in invisy mode and test stuff n stuff? Or do you actually do more stuff away from the computer? I guess I ask this to kinda get an idea of your available "Im at the comp" time, and youre "Im not even at the computer" time. Some people complain some Gms are never seen, and I could see this happening if they did more "Im not even at the computer, dude" things.

As for the bahavior, I actually had a member leeching KQ once, and had the nerve to call me leecher WHILE I was manking KKP Slime (which if you dont know, is hard enough for fighters to tank due to its mdmg, but a lil mage sure good mdef but.. low hp). He then (while in shroom) decided to threaten to ban me and several others for "leeching" by whispering a GL. He said he "knew which one to whisper" and we would be banned by the end of the day.
He also whispered me later that day claiming he had spoken to a GM and that I was "in the basement", and continued to laugh "hahaha so hows jail noob".
Needless to say, i reported it via email to support@outspark, and although it took a week or more to get my response.. I was replied with a non-generic response. If it was generic, then it was pretty darn specifically generic. I havent seen the guy in-game since then. But the response, made me FEEL like they actually did something. Thats my GOOD experience.
However I do have a more serious one (kinda) from my brother, who was scammed by a player and had to pay him 1g to get his weapon back, but lost all the other things. I reported it for him (he has horrid spelling.. omg.. and I know all those reports for OS must be hard enough they dont need to play decipher the cypher at the same time). Its been well over a week, and I havent recieved a response. I still see the guy in game, and in fact, he still scams people. He spams friend requests, pt requests, trade requestsm, and leeches KQ. Its so annoying, but I can only guess because of the thanksgiving holiday (i didnt include those days in my "1 week wait time") that they have a bit of an overflow. Afterall, we were still playing for those 3 days. They were on job holiday.
As for sproon -
I HATE outsparks new bot ad system. And I know its gotta be a bot. -.- It was kinda hinted on something like it when in the middle of the day in a kq, we got th enotice "maintenance will begin in 5 minute splease logout now", and another OS had to correct it.
Its SO ANNOYING. When I see that yellow text up there, I EXPECT it to be something IMPORTANT. Not "buy our stuff buybuybuybuybuy". The deal of the day thing doesnt even say what the DEAL IS for the day.
I could go on to say I also hate how I cant go in vendor until KQ too.. because what else am I gonna do for the 5-10 min before kq? Vendor actually kept me there eagerly watching my sales. Now I.. go afk.. come back liek 3 minutes after kq started, and then am behind and have to catch up. =.= or I get d/c right after kq starts and same thing.. behind the mobs and have to catch up.
Now I AM a paying customer. I buy SC. And I love to see when new things are added, or there are sales, etc. But I would rather they advertise specific sales (Like OMG CAT EARS ARE HALF OFF!!! DEAL OF THE DAY!! CHECK IT OUT!!) instead of "deal of the day has begun, check out the cash shop, to buy the deal of the day item, remember permenant items are out as well, check the forums" yada yada.
Lil rant there i guess, yall can ignore it if you want. xD

Being an admin of many sites, its hard to keep up with the masses requests and needs. You may not like the recent additions but who is to say that some of the additions are not being noticed? IE: Archers shooting while moving, clicking on people while in vendor and house modes. Also the recent changing of the map in Roumen to make it easier to get around.
To get change, one has to spread the word and get others to agree, Get a petition going of what you want to happen, its a good idea and prevents threads like this.

SKiNG, I posted after you responded to the others, but I was typing my response before you posted so I didn't see it >.< Didn't mean to do that.
Riko ^^ I've been an archer tank and seen a mage tank on Mini Dragon. Most times it was because the fighters wouldn't mock for various reasons (sometimes they were just not strong enough for the hits). I've also seen leechers, but never have I seen a leecher who also bad mouthed those who were fighting. I can't see the logic of that person "talk bad to the ones who are earning your exp" not a bright idea XD

Ya lol hence why I reported it. That was like.. omg.. dumbest move ever. Seriously. He stayed with the group and shroomed the entire time. Threatened to use a staff member to ban us. U.u Like.. whoa.

Yeah Im kinda a webmaster myself. Ive been admin or mod of several forums, personal ones, public ones, game ones, etc. Ive had to deal with reports and stuff, and I understand that they have quite the inflow of it, but really.. they should maybe.. shift some people. Didnt they hire Overseas Gms to help out? What happened to those? I never see them around anymore.. and when I did they were acting like bots and ignoring in game TOS violations. o.o;
the only thing you have to keep in mind is a petition can be ignored. Just because 500 members sign a petition to say.. I dont know.. have Gordon KQ give you 500k exp as a prize, that doesnt mean Outspark has to do it. Plus, keep in mind the laws Outspark is based off of. I think somewhere in the TOS it actually states we have to follow California laws as well as the laws of our own state. That means if in california, petitions are illegal, then doing a petition here is very punishable.
Just as an example. I dunno if they are or are not. I know my college campus has done it where if you do a petition.. thats it, you are expelled. (Im not talking about petitions that are required, ie: getting 30 signatures of members who would join a gaming club if it was formed. Those are more precautions to make sure the college isnt wasting money on a "club" for two people), I mean the ones that most ppl here try to do. ~.~ and FAIL.

I have another question. I am not sure if anyone else has asked this, but it is regarding the gifting system.
Why can we not gift things we have already purchased or have in our backpack? Is this ever going to be a feature? I know that the gifting system is new, but are the items selected for gift giving simply a way to see how the gifting system will catch on?
Thanks for your time.

*HIGH FIVE* for SKiNG
My question is do the game makers think that once a player reaches lvl 8x they are so rich they no longer need to get rewards or item drops?
I never play without *Rant* from lvl 79 - lvl 89 on Jadestar I made just enough each day to cover the cost of *stones and skills*. I had exactly the same amount in the bank at lvl 89 as I did at lvl 79, and apart from stones and skills bought nothing.
Shellz I have made more but that was thanks to the release of the *set* items.
As a cleric it is almost impossible to fight effectively in Abyss/GHS because of the *miss miss miss miss 250 miss miss miss* all the missing is while using a +9 BK weapon and T4 scrolls. Gordon Master KQ is not worth entering because of the poor or no rewards.
I would think using *Rant* I should be able to pick up more each day than I spend.

There are a lot of glitches/problems I could complain about, but there's one BIG thing I'd like to actually have answered. Will the abyss ever go back to the way it was? I really hate the fact that high levels can go into any abyss and just kill whoever they please. And no one apologizes for killing you while you're trying to level and such.
Also, WHY does the abyss have to be a pvp area? Why not just limit pvp to the battle zones and guilds? It seems like a hassle to me. I liked going to the abyss {before the patch messed it up}, to level up between quests and gather materials. I liked soloing. But every once in a while some... rude, irritating person feels the need to kill you while you're just doing your own thing. So... why can't it be pvp free?

I think it's PvP because it gives so many drops and generally a nice amount of experience. There has to be some sort of competition to make the drops and experience seems like a prize. I understand why it's PvP, I just dislike the current level limits. I've definitely had my share of run-ins with higher levels who are powerleveling lower levels, and it stinks.

People seem to forget that IF there is no pvp in Abyss then there is also no value in the higher drop rate or the weaker mobs. The reason the mobs are weaker and the drops are higher is because it is pvp. The free ride in Abyss is over and so it should be because it unbalanced the game.

Why when there are so many things wrong are they never corrected :( This is getting beyond sad. What used to be a very pleasing game to look at is now ugly. Three hours of maintenance and nothing done :( I am usually a maintenance lover because it brings new content to the game and FIXES current problems.

SkinG :
About the person who said Different color on cash Items.
You said it was possible and Any Color Suggestions .
here is the answer x_x
Why don't You make like 3-4 different colors for each item you release?
Like the newest one " Tiger Pack "
" Buy " " Gift " " Cancel "
*clicks buy *
Choose Your Color
White Yellow Red Blue
Just like Santa suit's are, in Black/white/green/red
Let everyone pick colors for any costume x_x
Personally im tired of watching the people with the same kind of suits colors x_x
Making it different colors and letting the people choose whichever they like the most would make the enviroment awesome!

I have to agree with you. Why is it that bugs that have existed for a while (animation bugs) or crippling bugs (Guild admins being unable to invite new members) are not being fixed, yet a bug for a brand-spanking new PvP KQ is fixed ASAP? It's not as if the players haven't been talking about the bugs for a while now... I guess it's just sad to see bugs crop up with every maintenance. :(

Because there are so many bugs that need to be fixed and never are? I don't think it's a matter of a certain bug not being fixed, but rather a great many bugs that have never been fixed. I think a lot of it also stems from frustration. When one bug is fixed, 3 more pop up. That's just my thinking, though.

I never asked for a 'free ride'. I just would like whoever it was that messed up the abyss changes to put them back the way they originally were. Also, there's absolutely no reason that the abyss can't be pvp free. The phinos have always left a lot of drops. That and the fact that I used to go there between quests are the only reasons I even went there in the first place.
But once again I see no one gives a crap.

Why cant they fix all bugs???? Once a bug/glitch is reported it should be addressed. Every week like clockwork we have a 3 hour maintenance. The maintenance notes rarely if ever tell us what exactly has been put in place *divorce* for example.
Guild Admin not being able to invite came into effect after last weeks patch, it was drawn to Fiestas attention almost immediately. That gave them ONE WHOLE WEEK to see what had happened and fix it.
How long have we been waiting for the game animations to be fixed??? Only like about 6 months.
lvl 8x Abyss and GHS problems were reported at least 4 weeks ago and still they are not addressed.
Are we *complaining* or are we voicing our disappointment? For me it is certainly disappointment that once again problems that affect my game play arent being looked at.

One thing I've notced in the 1 year + of playing is that people don't realise that Fiesta is in fact still in OBT (Open Beta Testing) This being said, you should expect, if not embrace, the bugs that prevent the game from becoming its full and complete version. Those of you out there saying "OMG! Hurrry up and fix everything that needs to be fixed faster!" Are only putting pressure on OutSpark (When they don't even decide when to update the game).
As Open Beta Testers, it is our duty, if not job, to find the bugs and REPORT them. Not yell at those who are not at fault.
And one last thing to anyone out there flaming OutSpark about changing the Cash Shop more than Fiesta itself:
OutSpark does not have control over when the game itself gets patched up. On the other hand, they have complete control over what and when they release in the Cash Shop. This obviously makes it easier for them to change the Cash Shop since they don't need to contact OnSon to get clearance.
DISCLAIMER: I'm only 99% sure that OutSpark has complete control over the Cash Shop so sorry if I'm wrong about this. Lol.

Actually sometime in November CM_Biski stated that Fiesta is not in Open Beta, but is in live commercial service (http://www.outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=126732&highlight=open+beta) But I wholeheartedly agree that it is our duty to report any bugs we see. It is also Outspark's duty to fix those bugs in a timely manner.
I'm not certain about Outspark's control over the CS, but I think you're right.

They cannot fix all the bugs because with one update, there will always be unnexpected flaws that nobody could anticipate. Bugs also take a while to get repaired because OutSpark is not able to patch these bugs themselves. They have to contact On Son (The Korean developers) and ask that they work up a patch. Then everything has to be translated (Which is where many bugs occur from what I hear).
OH MY GAWD! ONE WHOLE WEEK! THAT'S ENOUGH TIME TO GET IT TO ON SON SO THEY CAN FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. The only thing is that they now need to develope a patch for the problem and translate it. Not to mention they have like a million other bugs they're trying to fix. Again... This takes time...
Oh no. You can't see your character sparkle. This now makes the game fail? Maybe they're still trying to figure out what's wrong. They're busy people who have lots of other problems that need their attention. Would you rather be able to see skill animations than be able to use your skills at all?
And last but not least, "voicing your dissapointment" vs. "complaining". Not too much of a difference. In my oppinion though, voicing your dissapointment usually only needs one punctuation mark at the end of a sentance whereas complaining, much of the time has multiple, coupled with random capitol letters thrown in on top. :)
Sorry to go off on you like this but after reading through much of this thread, I decided that I wanted my input in here and your post just happened to have just the right mix of previously answered questions and general rudeness that triggered me to click quote. :|

You're level 60, what did that take you?...2 weeks?
You're not "going off" on anyone ... don't be sorry you have said nothing new here. We've been around long enough to witness alot of suck-ups, guessing what is going on behind closed doors. Blindly defending Outspark.
The fact of the matter is, the pvp kq bugs are fixed because this kq generates sc sales. Gordon Master should be the new kkp and a source for new ingame money now for not just 8x players, but for the entire population. Nobody enters that kq, and nobody will until the rewards are fixed.
Animation bugs are not that important to us....just the fact that so much content for high level players is not even being addressed. Month after month, nothing is being done about it.

mmmmhhh ever heard of a *trial server*?? You know those odd machines were you load updates and trial them??? You then resolve the majority of issues before you release the update.
Funny how every other game I play manage to address and resolve issues as they arise and not let them keep on keeping on.
*general rudeness* funny how people can see that in others but not in themselves.

My standards of satisfaction might be higher than many because I am in a higher age bracket than the majority that play this game. (According to the forum poll I filled out.) But the flip side to that is that my expectations are also more tempered.
I've actually been quite fortunate. In general when I've contacted Outspark/Fiesta with an issue it has been responded to and addressed in a timely fashion. The one time that I became frustrated was when the server move was taking place; I was unable to access the game for approximatley a week. All the while my bf was able to log in and play on his computer which sits about 5 ft away, only compounding my frustration.
I'm sure I must have become one of the loudest voices expressing my dis-satisfaction, and initially got little response. But once they posted on the forum that they were aware that there was a problem and they were working to fix it, it made it much easier to be patient. I guess that that's what I'm trying to point out. There are always going to be issues and glitches in an ever evolving game. But if you simply admit that you are aware that there is a problem and you're trying to fix it most people are very understanding.
The most rescent issue that's driving me nuts is the 'Fiestabin has stopped working'. It used to only happen as I was logging off the game, which wasn't a big deal because I was obviously quitting playing at the time anyways. It just slowed the shut down process. But lately it's been happening durring game play, most often when I'm in store, and moreso with one charachter in particular. I got disconnected 4/5 times within an hour last night! I've heard other players talking about having the same problem, so I'm hoping that this is an issue that gets addressed very soon.
I've noticed that the lag has been much worse over the past week, but the population on the servers has been much higher as well. I'm glad to see our community growing, but improvement on this issue will be necessary to retain it. Thus improving our game experience, as well as the company's profit margin.
As for the abyss changes, it bothers me when p vs p crosses the line into bullying, regardless of a person's rank. It's something that all players should keep in mind, but particularly higher level players that are going into lower level areas. Some players don't like to p vs p, but go into the abyss in search of rare recipie drops because they can't afford to buy them. Just because you can kill someone in the abyss doesn't mean you have to. Try not to ruin someone else's game experience just to pump up your own ego.
The accessory staff, as I call them, (GM's GL's etc) is a complicated issue. I'm not sure what their responsibilities and limitations are so I can't accurately critique their performance. But I have noticed that some (one in particular) seem far more concerned with having their butt kissed, and going on what appear to be power trips, than being helpful.
Something I've run into, but is not nearly as serious as actual game play issues (ie the fiestabin) are the in game typos and contradictions that make it very difficult to complete quests or purchase certain skills. I realize that these slips probably took place when the game was being translated, but unless you're fortunate enough to find another player that's already dealt with the issue and figured it out it can be nearly impossible, or at the very least costly.
I've seen many other issues addressed in earlier posts, but I don't feel I should offer an opinion on something if I have no personal experience with it. (ie certain level issues or kingdom quests) Though I will say that the bugs that affect gameplay are my pet peeve.
And just something for everyone to keep in mind; the people that deal with the outspark/fiesta forum and help sections hear a never ending barrage of complaints, often accompanied with hostility. It has to take it's toll.
I'm sure they are well aware of the old saying- You can please all the people some of the time; Some of the people all the time; But you'll never please all of the people all the time. But still, maybe while we're listing all the things that we still want changed, we should try to list something that has already been changed or been fixed that we recognize. A little gratitude can go a long way.
Personally, I appreciate that maintenance is now on a regular schedule. And I have to say that I am particularly impressed that an Outspark employee has not only monitored this thread, but responded.

I have to agree and have already stated I am a maintenance lover. I have no problem with the downtime because I know things are being added and fixed. I am currently trolling the forums because we are undergoing an *unscheduled maintenance* to correct bugs from the scheduled maintenace. Am I unhappy about this extra hour downtime? No way, in fact I am extremely happy that the problems are being attended too fast.
I also understand a lot of people think that we *complain* unnecessarily and never stop. But when we continually suffer the same old problems it does become tedious and we hope that sooner or later someone will actually realise how those problems detract from game play.
IF we didnt care we wouldnt spend our time trying to get things fixed.

Does anyone know if CSRs or other OutSpark staff members allow requests for a character name change if the reason is good?

I think it's PvP because it gives so many drops and generally a nice amount of experience. There has to be some sort of competition to make the drops and experience seems like a prize. I understand why it's PvP, I just dislike the current level limits. I've definitely had my share of run-ins with higher levels who are powerleveling lower levels, and it stinks.
I always figured its because the place is SO good for lvling, and theres limited space.. imagine if it wasnt pvp. You would sit there, trash talk the other group, war them, and in the end, either end up sharing, or leaving, or staying with this big ol word fight. With the pvp aspect, you can just kill em off and get going.
Now.. this counters the whole "respect" thing cus some ppl work hard to get that spot and you just up and take it..
Latest patch notes. NONE of the current problems are being addressed apart from archer animations.
Why when there are so many things wrong are they never corrected :( This is getting beyond sad. What used to be a very pleasing game to look at is now ugly. Three hours of maintenance and nothing done :( I am usually a maintenance lover because it brings new content to the game and FIXES current problems.
Actually.. concidering they had an update, aside from the pet releases and removals.. they addressed glitches. Granted, they were glitches caused by a new patch, but still. And granted.. some were for the stupid pvp kq.. but eh.
Its a small thing, but I hope now that ctrl+a sends me to Academy chat now>.> that was annoying.
The problem with this is then they have to make new images and designs for each outfit. First they have to make the basic pixel colors (which for a 3d game like fiesta can get hard), and they have to test it over and over to make sure the pants start where they mean too, that the tail isnt coming out of your head, etc, etc. They have to design the coding that links them all together, yet also seperated them into the tail, pants, top, etc.
Also OnsOn creates game aspects, NOT OUTSPARK. So if OnsOn hasnt made diferent color for outfits, or doesnt want to... then were SOL. Theres nothing we can do but sit here and beg.

But it's always like that. You can't just fix all bugs. I can understand if no bug was fixed for a month that you complain, but as long as they keep fixing some bugs with each update I don't think anyone should complain.
A game will never be bug-free anyways.
True but.. you must remember some of the players -COUGH- are older than others. Some players have been here long enough to see those -MONTHS- of not patch fixing. HOW old is the animations bug? Long long time. Since my cleric was in the 60 abyss. And I tell you: hes 85 now, and I also have a 68 and 77 archer and mage, and I take about 4-8 weeks on each of those. So thats a long long time.. Granted it is a big bug, almost every animation was heffied up.
Mmm I think its more like when 3 bugs are fixed, 1 more pops up. Some of the bugs can be very simple things. I personally think they need to categorize (and probably do) which ones are easier to fix (ie: they can fix it themselves) and which they HAVE to have OnsOn fix for them. But I dont know if they can fix things themselves. I would think they can at least have some control over the game, after all they dont have the license to make new things or whatever for the game, but I would think they could change like.. something from on to off, or vice versa.
Ah, but thats because the Guild Admin Invite thing had a more pressing problem. Guilds that didnt always have a GM on couldnt invite. Some guilds.. the GM is inactive, and the guild is purely surviving off admins. So removing the ability for guilds to grow and prosper was a kinda.. important thing. And since they just added it, and there were no bugs to it, I would think it was fairly simple to remove.
Nope, they cant fix all bugs at once. I would think fixing all teh bugs at once would actually cause more bugs. Kinda like who runing 5 virus scanning programs at once could cause your comp to crash or something because all of them are scanning.
And as for your sarcasm on players not sparkling..
Look at what we are demanding be fixed.
Its not the little things.
Were wanting guild outside heal back because we cant grind, its preventing players from lvling and joining guilds because they want to lvl.
Were wanting the animations fixed, why? Because they are detrimental to our lvling and playing as well. It took me over a month to get used to not seeing the mock animation, and still now I cant tell if theyre actually mocking or using that demoralize thing.
We demanded guild admins be able to invite, why? Because the GM isnt available 24/7/365 to invite people, and if he/she was, then the people to be invited arent on 24/7/365.
We arent demanding stupid things here. And I say demanding because were obviously not asking, but were not really complaining either. Complaining would be me ranting about one thing without any point. No.. we are using facts and some of us are even trying to help by giving advice (even tho it may be useless).
And by heck yes I did double post, cus so many posts to read up on xD

I am very sorry to see this and very sorry to say this but this thread was intended (I believe) as a question/answer place for players and Outspark staff.
The past few pages has turned into just another complaint thread. :(
SKiNG was willing to help us out by answering questions here when asked in a way that was very straighforward. Recent posts have been filled with opinion, not question. This is not helpful in getting questions answered. Please lets try to keep this thread open for questions only or it will end up like all the others...open ended, with no real answers, just complaints.

everyone we are going off topic for this thread.
we are to ask the game administrators question and/or suggest ideas.
they know about the animation bug and if you have read the hole forum the question has been answered.
let ones again start asking the GM to come back an answer our question and concerns in a grown up manner.
not to debate about bugs.
edit:
is there anything in the works to enhance the guild experience. right now it just looks like an extra friends list. guild war are not fun and at most are boring. the guild members a) dont want to go to the war or b) we cant find the members to kill.

The amount of communication between Outspark and its players has been a concern for some time. I can't and won't speak for their past actions, those decisions were made by the management and only they know the explanation for them.
The CL team is currently working with the CMs on ways to improve communication between the OS uppers, us, and you guys. Along with the recent changes to the portals, this is one of the things on their agenda. Don't worry, Outspark does care about you. As with any company, change doesn't happen overnight, so please be patient and understanding while these changes come.

Honestly... who cares so much about a game to complain about it...
either you like a game or not, theres plenty of games out there, fiesta is one of the rare free ones that offers the gameplay and graphics of a p2p one, i see no problems with it.
in the end of the day sparkcash pays for the wages of staff and for server, its upkeep and advertising, if they really carred about the money, then they would make it a pay2pay game or make it near impossible to play without sparkcash, such as having very large xp packages removing quests making it much harder to +9 items, making drops rarer, fewer kqs, ffr 50% xp packages aren't huge, charms of might and defence make a difference but are purposely expensive so that people dont constantly use, which would make it hard for people with less sc to play to level... which i don't see happening..
*EDIT
for those of u complaining about bugs, u cannot fix them all in one update, its physically impossible unless u are extremely lucky, when u fix a bug another often occurs, this is true for programs of all sizes, trial servers dont help since less people will be on it therefore takes longer to discover the bugs and then when they are fixed more occur, a bug is either human error, logical error or access error, logical error bugs are hard to find (ask anyone that has programmed even the smallest program) it requires carefully studying script, simulating results, complicated maths ( which can easily be miscalculated) and then testing it, when the logical error is fixed it will often lead to other errors occuring which need to be modified to suit these new changes.
Thus i game can be never bug free.

While I agree that the CS is definitely necessary to keep the game running, the employees paid, etc., I just wanted to point out that, based on the threads I've seen here lately:
(1) It has indeed become more difficult to +9 items (mostly since the release of the Gold Nines)
(2) Boss drops have significantly decreased.
(3) There is currently only one PvP KQ, and the other KQs are almost not worth the experience.
(4) The higher levels don't have many quests.
I actually don't know if these are just bugged parts of the game, but they are there. Whether or not these aspects are related to the CS is something we can only speculate about.

I am more than sure that Fiesta would NOT want to make the game Pay to Play as it would hugely DECREASE their income. Would be a lot cheaper for those of us who do use the cash shop but for those who dont they wouldnt suddenly find the money to pay to play.
*easily miscalculated maths error* = if the guy I hire to do the job cant use a calculator and verify his answers I hired the wrong man for the job. Outspark pays for the right to host Fiesta and I am sure they get upset at how the game doesnt do what it is supposed to do. I am also sure they are equally as frustrated as us players that there are so many glitches etc that take far too long to fix.

As I said before, this is info based on what I've seen players write in the forums. There are a couple of threads started by players when they noticed a decrease in drops. But yes, apparently this has something to do with the decreased spawn time.

I know communication is a big deal and that they've said that they're working on it.. But I must say, actions speak louder than words.
Is it really that difficult to include all patch updates? I mean, seriously. I know certain things must obviously be kept from the public, but why updates? I'd like to know what patches I'm downloading? I'd like to know when the little things are fixed, rather than signing online and finding out through word-of-mouth. I mean, I know the game is free and everything, but I think we have a right to know?
The lack of communication is really something I think OS should push for when it comes to bettering your services. You guys release patch notes, but they don't even contain all of the updates. =(
Can I ask why? Is there a valid reason behind this? Or is just a misunderstanding somewhere along the line?

Just a thought:
I've been wondering how reasonable it might be to set up a temporary (or permanent) server where the players from the different servers can interact with each other (I've seen other MMOs do this). All we would need is one map for PvP (use one of the battlezone or dungeon maps) and one map for non-PvP interaction, NPCs and events (any one of the city maps would work).
I think something like this could be used to improve the game's atmosphere (an issue we were discussing earlier in this thread).
(OMG, a Teva/Epith multi-guild war! Wicked!)

wouldnt work as there would be imbalancing issues, trading across servers, you could easily for example, give several blues from bijou to epith and several gems along with it as players trade stuff from their mains over there, can you imagine the kind of damage that would do to the economy?
and if you're going to say make nothign that happens in the new server saveable (e.g. no trading or dropping or gathering items and money, no way of aquiring anything) then why not just make a noob and go to the other server?

Actually, long long long time ago, I believe they said it, right from the OS, that they did make +9ing things harder, BUT they made +3ing things EASIER. It was so long ago I dont remember the actual words said, but that was the concept behind it.
Drops was decreased, MAJORLY, U.u and now tiem between spawn rates has been altered (mostly decreased) BUT also instances of bosses were decreased. (I now can only find 4 GGk at one time, instead of the 8 or so)
Lets get back to the questions tho, cus I bet SKiNG will check this and go "omg.... DX"
I got a good one, kinda: When the servers say Population, low, medium, and high.. can you (SKiNG!!! >< not players lol), give us an estimate of how many players that actually is (for med requirement)? Im just wondering :P
And this next one pertains more to glitches/bonuses.. we dont get many exp boosts anymore (reasonably) but Ive noticed the last couple of exp boosts given to us have resulted in problems (i think last one caused some maps to freeze up not letting players leave, and the one before that had to have a rollback or something, then before that server crash i think). Is there a problem with it, or were those just coincidences?

$100 a month... i would struggle to spend $5 tbh
if you dont know how to program dont tell them how to do their job then..
asong as there is an update theres going to be 3x bugs, its called development, as soon as cap raised, map added, kq changed etc there has to be an update, which creates bugs glitchs and want not, since files have to be edited, no complicated .exe program can be modified in large quanitites without bugs happening, would u prefer a bug here and to get a longer more pleasurable gaming experience and diversity? or prefer to be cap lvl 59 again and hit it within a few weeks then quit?

Although I would have say that enhancing without using SC is weapon suicide. I tried to enhance once without using Red Eyes, and it wasn't pretty ;).
i never said to not use....
and the people that complain.. still play... so it can't be that bad right?
outspark provide a service, we receive that service, outspark controls what goes on in that service (mayb count in ons on soft to) the service is improving hence the more players, if reli was getting worse there would be less players online right?
