Hey everyone,

In the computer club at my school the pres. is having a contest to see who can find out how to hide software in the add/remove section of control panel.

I really want to win this challenge but I dont know what to do (Im using a dell studio 15 with windows vista). I have tried EVERYTHING including deleting the folder in regedit, typing quiet infront of the display name (in regedit), typing No infront of the display name (in regedit), deleting the fiesta folder in regedit, and downloading something called remove 4.0. - All to no success

I will be ecstatic if someone can help me find out how to do this and if you help me get this to work and you're on teva; I will reward you with 600s

Thanks!

I know how to hide certain types of programs in the CP, but I don't believe it works globally. Does it matter what it hides? If not, I can guide you through it... although it is sort of complex. I guess if you are familiar with regedit you'd be fine though.

ROFL!

Oh man, this is a school project? *** school do you go to? I dunno about that complexity but the way I do it via regedit is simple.

I doubt it is a supported school board project. xD

I dunno, the way I do it I'd find complex if I was trying to tell someone who was a computer newbie. Maybe I'm putting myself through more work than I have to? xD
