I use a program called BSR screen recorder. After recording, I just have to alter some things like the format and then I can upload them to youtube. Or at least I should be able to....

or you can use a software called hypecam(forgot,but loads of people on you tube uses this)

if your going for a machinama i usually go for fraps screen capture, sure there is a watermark if you don't pay but really you can make quality machinamas with it. however the recording might take a bit of memory, but if you know what you want to shoot for your movie then you shouldnt use too much.
