i don't know whats wrong because i can log in and then when i try and get onto my character which looks like a white block and go onto the game, the whole screen is a white screen, but i can see the mini map and all that, i went to the graphics page but it simply said to install the right version of Opengl which i don't know what it is... so i only need to know which version of graphic driver to install and the OpenGL program. i already have directX 10.0 and its windows vista home premium by acer.

so please, whats the OpenGL program and the graphic driver for ATI?:confused::confused:

Edit: Nevermind; I think I was getting obsessed with installing it and I accidentally had two installation windows up.

Settings were all tested and all came up with the same error

Operating system: Ubuntu 7.10 - the Gutsy Gibbon - released in October 2007

Graphics: NVidia GeForce 4200 Ti
Audio: C-Media 8738 PCI
Free Disk Space: ~1TB
CPU As reported by BIOS and Linux: AMD Athlon XP 1440Mhz
CPU As reported by Windows XP Pro: AMD Athlon XP 2.04 Ghz
RAM: 512MB

My graphics are no issue in linux as it is fully supported and I can use ALL 3d desktop effects,

I can also play other games (such as World of Warcraft) Flawlessly on it under wine.

I do not program in python (at all) so i am unsure as to what the error messages are pointing too... But I am willing to help and support you to get this available and working under wine, so long as you can help me fix these errors :)

Please, please let me know if there is any additional information you require or would like so that we can get this sorted as efficiently as possible :D

Reading the other posts will give you a hint. The game was in closed beta now the servers are shut down until open beta starts. So now you wait untik open beta then you open the game and play.

I just told you what to do. Uninstall/delete everything to do with outspark, restart your pc and download and install SoS again. Should work this time...

what i did:
removed the old file, the corrupted one.
turn off Firewall (im using windows firewall)
download the new file with firewall off
Reboot
Install leaving firewall off.

Well GaerenDerish v1.0.3 is the correct version of installer of S.o.S. Have you tried logging in? Other people that have a 64-bit operating system have this problem.

I have this problem, but I can still play. After filling in my email and password, I can click the login icon. Soon after, the updater loads and I play from there.

Ok I have a 64-bit system and somehow got both solstice and fieasta to work.

first for fiesta - go to http://www.outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31539 and manually download the patches and just run the patch. It should work from there.

for solstice - well I have no idea actually. I get the obsolete version error, but it lets me log in anyways and plays just fine. it's weird.

I have both games runnin on compatability for windows xp.

I hope this helps other players. spread the word.

Got 64 Bit XP to but i cant log in as the applying patch starts and nerver ends, have hade it open for 10 min and then i simply whasent fun to wait anymore. Hade problem whit fiesta to when they got to a newer ver in december so i quit playing it. Seems they realy have problems whit 64 bit windows or they simply have some control issue whit there launcher as the problem seems to be there. Is there anyway to get past a crapy launcher? Or cant you simply play on a 64 if its dossent jump past the patching? Maybe theres a older launcher that you can install and make it as a workaround as they did work?

Switch Firewall off completely when installing, patching and playing. ALso avoid any other programs open using a net connection ie MSN, Firefox etc. I got it to work first time however it's been in and out in terms of wanting to log in.

I have sort of the same problem as this guy, My patcher keeps freezing partway through the 17MB Patch. And the manual patch does absolutely nothing...

They need to get a manual patch that updates the game straight from the downloaded client up to the current version, cause they don't have one and I really want to play this game T_T

I have sort of the same problem as this guy, My patcher keeps freezing partway through the 17MB Patch. And the manual patch does absolutely nothing...

They need to get a manual patch that updates the game straight from the downloaded client up to the current version, cause they don't have one and I really want to play this game T_T

I've found a possible solution for this:
First of all, disconnect your internet. Then run the outspark patcher (Stay disconnected), it will give some connection errors, just click OK. After that the login button will get active so you just have to reconnect your internet and login normally (Don't restart the patcher!!!). It worked for me... Hope it works for everyone else.

How To Fix Open GL or Crash Issues

Follow This Guide If :
- You get a warning message when you start the program mentioning Open GL
- Your program repeatedly crashes while trying to update

Your problem is :
You probably need to update your video card driver. This will update your Open GL as well. After you update, your video driver and Open GL should not be acceptable for Outspark applications.

How To Fix :
1 - Open your Device Manager (under your control panel).
2 - Expand the Display Drivers category (click the plus beside it)
3 - Right-click your display driver and choose 'Update Driver Software ...'
4 - Let the wizard search automatically for the software on the internet
5 - Wait as it downloads and installs your driver from the internet. Your screen may blink or go black while it is installing.

I have installed both fiesta and secrets multiple times, with restarts and turning off firewall. I have also re-downloaded them multiple times over the last three weeks. None the less, every time I try to run either fiesta or secrets, the game crashes when I start outspark launcher without fail. I tried to look through the forum for an answer and saw nothing except what I have tried above. Does anyone have other suggestions?

I was waiting for days for ppl to help but noone came, right click on the shortcut for solstice --> Then go to Compability--> check on run the program as Adminstrator at the bottom --> Also click on Run this program in compabilty mode for ( Windows XP Service Pack 2) hope this helps =)

This looks like your zone alarm is setup to the highest security and it's blocking the installer. Look into the various zone alarm options and relax those settings, then try to install again. I hope this helps.

No it did not work, but fortunately I got it to finally install. I don't remember what I did exactly, but it took two hours of nervewracking yelling at my computer. I did mess with the GPE before it started to work again, but I don't know if it helped.
