The best wayto lvl up is quests and u shuld just kill in the abysse
at lvl 40+ instead of killing in the abysse it is better to aoe in there but quests are almost always the best way

And soon you'll get a quest which lvl you 2/3 times. ^w^ b

Quests...and if you've done them all and at a lost, go kill things....Zombies and things like that...or help lvl up lower lvls...go into the abyss at your lvl you get like 200 exp for killing ghosts...xD

As everyone else suggested, apart from quests, the best place to level is the Abyss. However, be warned the reason it's called the "Abyss" and why there's awesome loot and exp is because other players can kill you. Some players will try to kill you to up their kill points, not for any provocation. If you go in expecting PvP, that would be best. And please, don't post a thread about so-and-so killing you in the Abyss.

I leveled by questing, kqing, and grinding. level 46 now ;o

I find it ridiculous that you've been playing for 2 years and only lv 36... I've been playing for less than a month and have 2 jobs over level 20, and I know it gets longer, but all you gotta do is keep questing, keep partying, keep killing, and eventually you'll level. I played FFXI for 6 years and if you keep partying you level up really fast. This game is more quest based, and if you look at the quest patterns you can see that a lot of them involve killing a number of monsters around your level and collecting items. Get some quests and party with someone if you need help killing. Just killing the monsters gives you exp, so let's make up a quest:

Quest:
Kill 50 So-and-so (regular monster for your level, like slimes, mushrooms, etc)
Kill 2 tougher-so-and-so(like a notorious monster version, King Slime, Angry Wolf, etc)
Kill 30 Other-so-and-so
Kill 3 tougher-other-so-and-so
Collect 20 So-and-so's necklace (dropped by so-and-so)

Reward: let's just say 10,000 exp and 10 silver

So let's say each monster gives you 100 exp, that's:
50x100 = 5000 exp
30x100 = 3000 exp

and let's say the 2 NM monster give you 200 exp, that's:
2x200 = 400 exp
3x200 = 600 exp

also, let's say that the necklaces you need to collect drop only 1/10 of the time, that's 5 for every 50, you may have to end up fighting 100+ of the monsters, that's an extra 50, so add another 5000 exp

so all in all you get
5000 + 3000 + 5000 + 400 + 600 = 14,000 exp
so after turning in the quest, you get an additional 10,000,
=24,000 exp

Not to mention that these monsters are all dropping loot, so you get
10 silver from quest
inventory full of loot to sell or use for alchemy

And usually quests like this are repeatable at least 5 times(i don't know how the repeat system works), so you get to do this again, and this is only 1 quest out of a myriad of others. so just keep at it and you'll level.

Try to do at least 1 quest a day, because it sounds like you don't play too often, am I right?

It's been in open beta shortly over a year, around July 2007. If you're talking about closed beta or Shine (Korean), that's a different bag of apples. However, the closed beta isn't that much older than the normal/open beta Fiesta.

2 way:
1. join a academy usually they will plevel you because graduate have a lot of academy points
2. do license, whenever there is no quest I always do license. A completed license add value to weapon and sell better.

well im finaly lvl 40 sad part is im in a gild not the acadamy and im in uruga i soooo neda get 2 50 or 60 iv bin playing 2 long can sum 1 lvl me 2 50 ill give 100s 10s per lvl or if u cold help me get to 60 ill try 2 pay 200s if i can get it
