Those cool custom pictures in sigs

Hey people of the Fan art section, its your favorite mercanary wondering if anyone knows how to do those cool pictures from fiesta for your sig. You know the ones with Your character, your name, and some cool background and such? Can someone tell me how to do that, or make me one? Eh, just say yes, and I will post some screenshots.

Depends of what program you have. I use Photoshop. Take a screenshot, I suggest to take screenshot and alt tab to paint and paste there for higher quality picture, and use the magic wand or lasso tool to single out your char (or don't if you got a good background already from your screenshot), and just adds effects aka brushes on different layers and change the layer effects to make some wicked shiznitz.

photoshop FTW. u can use paint.net too, but i think its a little harder to use.

Photoshop is much easier to use for me cuz theres alot of tuts for PS everywhere and some brushes and stuff too. But either way, you can still make pimpin' sigs with any photo editing software if you look at some tuts or just try out random shiznitz.

I use Paint.NET and I find it pretty simple. You just take a screen shot and usually it'll save to a folder that automatically is made when you download Fiesta.
Then Just add effect.

pfft... ive used photoshop elements 5 and photoshop CS 2 (and 3) and i have to say, Paint.net's alot easier >.>;;

But because paint.net is sorta limited, i also use gimp to make up for the lack of brushes

There are plugins for that

Theres a plugin where you can convert photoshop brushes and then import them into your PDN...

It was made like that so that you could customize it to your liking.

i use Photoshop, but i know many great sigmakers who use a free software called GIMP, Paint.NET is just too simple, and to make something of good quality, you need at least GIMP. but Photoshop is much better.
btw, i'd be glad to make you a siggy. it would look awesome if you you took quite a flowish screenshot of yourself using an ability, or fighting something :)

For those who can't afford Photoshop, use GIMP. You can download Photoshop plugins into GIMP. SirWulfstan, I know people that use GIMP so good, it makes everyone ask is that Photoshop?
