Party loot system

Hi everyone, I'm kinda new to the game, and I've heard that the loot system of your party can be changed, but I don't seem to find info how to do it.

The only loot system I saw is the default one where anyone in the party can pickup the loots.

The other question is I have is how to figure out the loot system that has been assigned to a party i have been invited to.

When you are invited to a party it will tell you the moment you enter the party.

Free means its anyones but from what I've seen earlier it was the person who dealt the most damage to the boss.

Seq means its turned based so everyone in your party gets equal share regardless who picks it up :)

Blah was meant to say enemy not boss was thinking of Mara KQ at the time xD

Anyway right click the picture of your character in top left corner click Free Allocation then you can set it to Seq or otherway around.
