New Laptop

Ok so after christmas i am going to be purchasing a laptop...
I am wondering what i can get for under $1000 that will run fiesta smooth.
Any suggestions on stuff like RAM and Graphics cards and processors?
I was thinking either pentium dual core processor or core 2 duo
and 2 GB of ram? Also with at least any type of graphics card cause alot of them just come with integrated video graphics...

with vista u will need 3gb of ram or more as vista is ram hungry. my dads laptop doing nothing can use up to 80% of the 2gb ram and only thing that is on is the viris thing cant remember wat 1 he uses

Look for an ASUS :D

If you have a choice, compare the videocard on hardware forum, that could help.

DELL is a good mark if you can afford the support and the duration limit on their battery ROFL

look at bestbuy under laptops...4GB...over 17"

its got 4GB of RAM...a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7150M (UMA) graphics card...and 250GB of memory...the only downside is that the screen is 17.1 inches

also...its only about $700 w/o tax and has wireless capibilities with a bulit in webcam and microphone
