Well I thought about trying out SoS. I’ve played Project powder and Blackshot both in cb and played Fiesta since Oct 07. I thought why not play this game too? I’ve heard from other people that this game is pretty fun. So I was wondering if you guys could give me advice to play the game or not :P. Also I would like to know what characters are fun and what characters are good to use. Thank you for you’re time SoS players and have a good day :P.

I love SOS. I have never played Fiesta so I can't really compare it to that... but in my honest opinion i love SOS. It was my first game and got me playing other games too... but I keep coming back here.
And I'm sure someone will be able to better explain the classes to you ^^ I'm bad with that stuff haha

Aw, only one reply to such a reasonable thread D:?
Anyway, as for me and SoS, we're in a love-hate relationship. Once you get into the gameplay, meet great people, try to join a guild, or make your own or improve the one you have, host some mini-events for you and your friends, join a party or just sit and chat, it's real fun...
However, once you notice the terrible, monotonous grinding, broken or no-quests, lack of changes and events and the mob of rude players that is around somewhere... well, yeah, then it's not so much fun anymore.
Been on and off the game since the very beginning and well, the game's worth a try, but if you feel like leaving, do that fast D:... otherwise you're pretty much sucked into the game by the community and it's really hard to leave even if you (kinda) want to :/
As for the classes, I love the Templar Class so I'm all for it. It's a hybrid between a healer and a fighter and great for soloing :D And it's so cute <3.... >.>...
The archer is pretty overpowered and I'm therefore tempted to make one myself. ^^' But if you go Neo>Rogue and not Neo>Archer, the 3rd class Assassin seems to be pretty amazing. Especially the invisible skill :D
Don't like knights, they are more or less... boring... Sword, Shield, Sparta! -.-;
Poor apprentices waste so many pots and they are pretty tough to level... but if you like a challenge, it's so worth it later on. Hm, did i miss anything? Well, right... oO A Haler is a Healer... yes... a healer...
i think that's all ^^

Well, you can forget any aggrosystem to start with.
Squire- tanker with best defense. Apprentice, expensive magical kiter. Opposite of the nitrokag in Fiesta. Acolyte, kiting healer. Squishy Fiesta-Cleric in comparison. Scout, kiting machinegun. Neophyte, evasionaddict with lower firepower than Squire. Higher dps though. Disciple, mix between Squire and Aco. Uses hot-heal always.(Think this class and Acolyte as a hi-Cleric split in two) Disciple is a sidepath from Acolyte, and Scout from Neophyte.
(Someone owes me a brownie for typing this on my phone... >_>)

id like to go into more details of what is best for your personality than which class is most powerful/ overpowered
squire- are those who like to fight head on specially in real life, its all or nothing with them, kill it or die trying
magician- these follow my personal opinion of " better to kill something before they get to you", but this class is not good for you if you are not used to being broke :D
if you are easily intimidated this class is not for you
acolyte- are for those who are a little timid but at the right circumstances become great supporters, if you panic this class is not for you
neophyte- if you are really quick in real life, then you might want this character. Also if you like taking risks, this class is perfect for you. If you like to have superpowers then this class is perfect for fantasy fans.
archers- seriously overpowered, altho in real life they werent (LOLS) basicly a mage who kill faster and use less mp and get lots of money fast. THis is for people who value safety first but also like to kill.
templar- a defensive fighters, they like to survive long battles. If you move on really quick this class is not for you. Personally, i like this class because its perfect for me. I like to survive :D

If you love to pvp, go Assassin Archer or Templar, assassins are hard to grind, archer is ez, templars is ez but u need some good gear to mob. ;]

archers to me are hard to grind lolz/bores me tho imo. assassins.. are ez if u know what ure doing/ you have a high dodge rate, a good healer, and the best defense u get when u actually get hit by the monster. (this is for lvl 101 + chars) templars... seem so easy. go +5/+6 gear, incubators, assist heal and your good for ever. :3

Should add this as well:
- Save all food you get through grinding, you will need it for future quests or pvp if you have already done the quests. (Never use food restoring 50+ hp for quests, waste)
- Don't go defense-whoring for good equipment until the level 60+ gear set, since you have no real use in spending so much kron on the extra defense before that. 2 Ap, or 4 Ap is good enough and cheaper for the time being.
- Go pure on a stat(INT for magical class, POW for physical class) if the weapon or shield doesn't require POW, you benefit more that way for all classes, save the Scout.
- Learn that red zones are only as safe as you haven't upset a monster.(They can and will attack you in that safe haven past level 30 for sure otherwise)
- Don't buy Tiny MP-pots before mid 40s if you pick a Neophyte or Squire, no matter what due to waste. (Lousy low manapool for them at that point. =.=; )
- Vend gear at the NPC unless it got good stats in the 4 ap, or 6 ap-range. (Same with books if they are level 1 and below level 66 requirement.)

I see you have tried all of the other games Outspark has to offer, which is good (I like Outspark, and remain a part of the community, despite my wanderings to other games.)
SoS is good, and has a lot of great features. The community is solid, and it isnt hard to find a party at all.
On the other hand, you cant ENJOY all the features of the game until you are a bit higher level, which also comes with (as Herepox stated), monotonous grinding, broken quests, and as my own addition, general boredom.
Out of all the Outspark games (I have played them all as well, spent a PARTICULARLY long time in Solstice), I find this to be the lesser of all the games Outspark offers (in terms of gameplay), but if you are looking for a solid community with plenty of people to talk to and socialize, this is the place to be, no Outspark community seems tighter than the SoS one, its a bit like a family, drama and all.
no matter what ya do, happy playing, and hope to see ya around!
