Game closes after intro. Plz Help.

Hi, Thanks in advance for helping. I downloaded the game and logged in. The game patched for a while. Then the game went to the intro screen (it's mostly white, I can't remember exactly what it said). After that, the game closes, and there is no error message or anything. Now, everytime I start the game, I login, it checks for patches, goes to the intro, and then closes. I've been cruising the boards, and I can't find any good answers as to why it closes. Could someone please give me a clue? Thanks.

Are u sing a wirreless connection or a direct connection via ethernet cable? Also, what type of access do you have, ie cable, dsl..., And do you have a firewall setup? Because if you have an interrupted internet signal then u coul get packet loss, which would shut it down. Also if for some reason you had some packet loss during the installation process you may have a corrupted file. In that case you would have to delete the game and reinstall. First check to see if you have a solid connection to the net. Look at ur network manager and see what speed ur connected at and how strong the signal is. If Ur using a wireless you may have to move ur receiver to a better location,if its external. If it's internal u'll have to move the computer to a better location, or move the wireless transmitter. This should be required at least thru the installation process.

Thanks, that makes some sense. I guess I have the windows firewall. I'll try to make an exemption for Secret. My router sometimes craps out and reconnects, which changes my IP address sometimes. If the firewall isn't the problem, then I'll configure my computer to have a static IP address and turn off all my other internet programs. Then I'll re-install. If it works, then you are awesome. I never would have thought of that problem.
