Hey there everyone! I was doing some thinking today about what would make for an interesting read in an upcoming issue of Fiesta Magazine, and came up with this mini-event:

Fiesta Magazine's Back at One

Here's the lowdown:
I'm looking for a level capped player (level 89) from each server to experience life on another server and as a different class.
But there's a catch! Actually several of them...
Catch #1: You are only allowed to play as the class you are least experienced in.
Catch #2: You are unable to use sparkcash at any time. No crit costumes, no red eye/blue mile, no extenders, no blessing of Teva, no cash shop movers, etc. (this is by honor system, obviously i can't and won't verify this)
Catch #3: You are unable to accept large amounts of start up money from other players.
Catch #4: You are unable to be power leveled.

Here's what I want:
I'd like to know what you experienced.
How's the community different from your home server?
How do other players treat you as your new class?
What frustrations do you see as a new player without access to SparkCash?
How has your attitude changed about the class you were forced to play?
Any other comments your would like added including any shout-outs to new friends and guildmates you've met.

Those participating will receive a small prize from the Fiesta Store distributed over a 4-week span (1 prize per participant per week). I can't afford anything extravagant, but i would like to offer something as a thank you atleast.

Those participating will be required to document their travels by providing interesting screenshots. Screenshots needn't be "Cover page" quality, but atleast have a clear subject and is relevant to the story.

Excerpts from your submissions will be included in a future issue of Fiesta Magazine.

If you are interested, please post to this thread.

*** If you are below the level cap and want to participate, you may also apply to this thread. However, preference will be given to those that have reached the level cap. If there are no capped players that respond from your server, the highest lvl player will be the next one chosen.

The Event will run from December 16th - January 6th. There is no required level to hit on your newly created character, but I do ask that you take the Event seriously. If for some reason you are not able to fulfill your obligation, let me know as soon as possible.

How's the community different from your home server?

Well the community on Teva server is much more different from the server I play on Epith, it's kinda different on how people think about the game.

How do other players treat you as your new class?

It's a sad thing to say but truly people from Teva helps you much more when you are still a low leveled player also they were very welcoming.

What frustrations do you see as a new player without access to SparkCash?
Seeing people riding movers, have +9's, Spark Cash clothes and many more things that can be obtained only from the Fiesta Store is a frustration, I can say "Yes Fiesta Store helps people in leveling much more quicker".

How has your attitude changed about the class you were forced to play?
To tell you the truth my attitude changed a little bit to a better way, since I found many helpful and kind people.

Very interesting concept as I have restarted archer on another server and find myself with a whole different set of motivations than my first time, unfortunately I am automatically disqualified since although I do not self enhance or afford to buy +9's on a new server. I do use my new character to ahem... use up all those 1 week Remi's Rare leftovers to clear my premium inventory >.>. I wish anyone participating in this event good luck.

Please do not Necro-Post. As stated before, this thread is from last year and to my knowledge this Magazine is no longer active unless FatalLace decides otherwise.

Thank you.
