Im planning on starting soon and was wondering do You exp at death ?

If you meant do you lose exp if you die then yes you do. You lose an entire 7% and it's pretty easy to die no matter how strong you are.

My advise is carry lots of potions with you, keep your equipment updated so you can keep getting better defense, and just plainly try your best not to die ^^;

I don't think you lose the 7% right away, I think you have to reach a certain level before it kicks in. It's a pretty low level though.

I just remember dying as a low level and not losing anything and thinking it was cool and then.. bam.. lost experience XD

I think there's no death penalty 'til lv 16... Then you start losing 7% every time you die. >.<

Loss exp starts at level 16 *I believe*
When your a lower level its not as bad because the exp you get from training you will certainly get that exp back fast. Once you get higher it is a stab because of the rate of exp. I would follow ChaosAD's pot suggestion and wait until at least 50 before investing in any kinda serious gears.

its 5 % when you are around lvl 30, i know because i died a lot around lvl 30 D:

i think 7% kicks in around lvl 36-40

I think you just had equipped an item that reduces the death penalty.

It's always 7% from level 16 on.

It IS a good idea to have one of the general store death penalty things on you once you think the exp is tough enough to earn that it'll be worth it. level 16 with one of those things or even one of the cash shop ones is a pretty big waste of kron/money, it takes a monster or two to get that exp back.

lol wow i had no idea you dont lose exp if you die before level 16...mostly because the monsters are so weak at those levels that its almost impossible to die O.o

And even if you do die...you get 5% per kill at those levels anyway xD
