Since my previous post, my launcher quit working.* I got a c++ navigation exception message.* I have deleted the launcher from my system and lowered my firewall to attempt re-downloading to see if this will fix my problems.

Hopefully they can fix something in the game program to prevent this from happening to a lot of other people. Though this is beta and we're the candidates for the failure side of not being able to connect, others may suffer this if it's not fixed.

You can find your system info by going to START>CONTROL PANEL> SYSTEM.


To find your Graphics Card you go to CONTROL PANEL>SYSTEM> HARDWARE>DEVICE MANAGER. Then you double click on Display Adapters. You can find your processor if you scroll down and double click 'Processors'.

I tired that new installation, and everything downloaded and installed just fine. I log in and it brings up the screen with the same error, and I don't know anymore =/.

MY THEORY/SOLUTION!!


Hey guys I figured something out by just being curious, I was thinking about firewalls and how somethings can't get by and etc...LISTEN UP! I always have the firewall on and well the game gives that 'connection to server has failed' error. Okay so I scratched that off and turned my firewall off (it all depends on the type you have). I turned it off and ran the game, I got into the servers fine and managed to create my character which is awesome!


*What I tell you is a theory, though it works on mine;*It can be a risk to some of you unless you're sticking to just the game.


My firewall: Symantec Client Firewall program.


Mine might differ from most of you, but try this...turn off your firewalls for temp to see if the game runs smooth. If it does then you may have to turn it off to play, hopefully the Devs can look into this.

you need to fix server to recive any kind of ip, and any type of connection. that is the problam.

If you have a firewall try disabling it, like if you use a program for it. Turn it off temporary for the game and when you're done you can always turn it back on, because I had problems connecting cause of my firewall.

for those who are experience this problem i think the first thing u should check is are u downloading using BITTORRENT


because now day the massive package going through BT are very likely to disconnect any gaming connection


so just stop the BT and it might just solve ur problem

Downloaded the game and installed it fine. Ran it for the first time to see if it works, and it did - found the servers fine. Ran it a second time when my girlfriend gets on and now I get this error. I've tried repeatedly for the last 30 minutes, it won't go away.
