This is a guide I've put together from the info I've gathered up and all, I'm hoping it'll help you start your archer great, or fix it up. Well I hope you find some of this useful to being an archer in Fiesta.

{III} Crossbows and Bows
{IV} Skill Empowerment

{I} Introduction
Well, I'm not the most experienced archer. I've learned quite a decent amount about archers from experience and other players who are more experienced than me. Below is the hard work I've done of the info I've gathered up and hope it'll help you beginning as an archer and some of your questions if not all.
{II} Deciding Your Build
Well, the stat points you get.. Don't think too hard about them because they don't help as much as the base stats you get every lvl anyways, but they still do help.. Think of them as bonuses! First, this is taken from Fiestafan's wiki.
STR = +1.2dmg
END = +.1%block(1~50)/.05%block(51+), +.5def, +5hp.
DEX = +.2%evade(1~50)/.1%evade(51+), +.3%aim(1~33)/.2%aim(34~67)/.1%aim(68+)
INT = +1.2Mdmg
SPR = +.2%crit(1~25)/.1%crit(26+), +.5Mdef, +5sp
If the max level is 100, then this is how a PURE build would look like.
STR = +138dmg
END = +8.25%block, +57.5def, +575hp
DEX = +16.5%evade, +21.2%aim
INT = +138Mdmg
SPR = +14%crit, +57.5Mdef, +575sp
Int is of course useless to an archer for obvious reasons so forget about that.
STR
Well, the stat that raises your dmg. It's static, and looking above, it's really up to you whether or not you think it's worth it. A lot of people say that +138 dmg isn't worth it when you reach Lv. 100, since it's really not a lot at that high lvl (if you ever reach it..)
DEX
Hmm, the stat that you get mainly for the evasion and aim. Is it really worth it? Well many high Lvl archers are saying they regret doing so because it doesn't really help evade the monsters of their lvl. For aim? It's unlikely for an archer to miss because of the high DEX boost they get already, unless you're fighting red-named monsters or a boss, an AIM scroll is usually enough.
END
I haven't thought much about this stat. Some archers put a bit into this and just put everything else into others. Well I'm not putting any points in this since I'm rarely going to get hit anyways because of a tank unless I solo, really depends on your preference.
SPR
It's recommended to put at least 25 points into this stat to get +5% crit, after that, the crit rate you get gets halved to 0.1%. SPR isn't only for crit though, it's also useful for the SP and of course the magic def which is also useful or both PvM (on certain monsters) and PvP against mages.
{III} Crossbows and Bows
Crossbows have more dmg but are slower..
Bows have less dmg but are faster..
I've done the math and crossbows actually have more DPS (damage per second) but that was w/o counting the mastery bonus, and bows get an extra mastery lvl. So I imagine they'd be around equal in uses and a matter of preference to the archer. People have said that crossbows are more suited to those who spam skills, and bows for those who preserve sp as they grind or w/e since I'm guessing they'd dmg more over time.
But really, who says you can't have both masteries and weapons? Money is the only problem :D
{IV} Skill Empowerment
Yeah, under construction >_> Haven't been able to play for abit
{V} Miscellaneous
Well this guide is of course going to be updated.
I'd like to hear what people think, and encourage what your opinions are and why maybe I'm wrong in something and stuff. I'll make sure to give you credit for it :D
Psh and once I find out what bonus the masteries give from a reliable source, I'd have more to place, and there's a lot more to add to this guide! *cough* reputations are very welcomed xD
Har har har, guide is under construction.
