I made them think my BF is an Eskimo and eats caribou....wait a minute...he IS and Eskimo and he DOES eat caribou.
I dont see why i would want to trick anyone in the first place =D
PS: he is gonna teach me how to make an IGLOO this winter=D even though they all live in huts except for when they go on a long hunt.

I tricked some Canadians into thinking that they could go on strike to get some Internet money from the world.

I'm orignially from Canada, my family lived around the Niagra falls region so I traveled to the US a lot when I was little. I see no point to trick people that live specifically in the US. Think outside your neighboring countries and expand your horizons.
BTW, felt the need to edit this in, but I am not from Canada. I'm Virginia born and bred. I've made regular trips to the region ever since I was a little girl...but I just felt like the other side needed to be represented here ;)

I haven't tricked anyone... but someone once asked me how I used a computer in an igloo.
It was funny. XD

I'm actually considering asking my canadian friends if they've ever lied to me about themselves ;o
I've never thought they lived in igloos lol. unless they live in the northern parts of Canada? I know it's really cold up there though ;o

Only a few? I could fill a 20-volume encyclopedia with jokes about where I live, and still be "just getting started." ;)
For just one example...
What are the most common "famous last words" of a redneck?
"Hey y'all, hold my beer and watch this!"
Laugh all you like, and please don't point out the obvious, that someone might be offended by that. I've seen it actually happen, complete with the exact quote, on more than a few occasions- and the folks who uttered the line will laugh themselves into unconsciousness at the joke because they know from first-hand experience what it is that makes it funny. :D
And for anyone who thinks those Canadians can't trick Americans, I've got two words for you: Celine Dion. ;)

Haha, sounds like a joke from around my area too.
There's also an unwritten rule in my town that three cars can go after the light turns red.
^It was supposed to be a joke, but idk how many people I know (out of towners going to college here) that actually thought that was an unwritten rule...and told the cop about it when they got pulled over >.>

"If you don't like the weather in Rhode Island, wait a minute"

Oh, so y'all have the same kind of climate as Kentucky? :D
I think the best gag I ever heard regarding our climate was this one:
We have four seasons in Kentucky, just like everywhere else: Almost Summer, Summer, Still Summer, and Christmas.
And y'know, I think it's fair to say this thread has been thoroughly highjacked, derailed, mauled and driven off-topic beyond redemption. Maybe someone should be nice and go start a "Your best 'rip-on-yer-home' jokes" thread over in off-topic territory. :)
