Is there a way to add them to the game?

Its a faster way to using skills instead of just clicking on them. Using the 1,2,3,4.. etc. buttons.

Press F12 to bring up the Hotkey bar, then drag a skill/item to a slot to assign that hotkey. Usable hotkeys are F1-F10, and you can have 3 separate assigned sets.

Hit F12 to toggle your hotkey bar open and closed. You'll see ten empty boxes labeled F1 through F10. Just drag and drop items from your inventory or skills from your skill list that you would like to be able to use on command into these slots. You can have up to three bars of hotkeys between which you can toggle using alt+1, alt+2, and alt+3. I hope this helps you out.
