Hello everyone, my name is Kat and I've assumed the role of Guild Leader for Devil's Rejects. I've heard that they are a number of people who have issues that they wish to resolve with the previous owners/members of this guild but I can assure you that Devil's Rejects has undergone a complete reformation. This means that whatever transgressions or crimes the previous owner(s)/members have committed against you, the guild Devil's Rejects are no longer affiliated in any way with them. Thus, I ask of you to take your questions, concerns, issues, and problems to the people themselves rather than the guild. As guild leader, I'm just trying to salvage a guild with potential while cleaning up the mess(es) that the previous owners left behind. I apologize now for whatever felonies, crimes, or transgressions the previous members Devil's Rejects caused but I can assure you that that is all in the past. Those members are no longer a part of this guild and hopefully will NEVER be members of this guild ever again, so I ask that you do not associate their crimes with the guild as they are no longer a part of it and the new Guild Masters of Devil's Rejects have no intention of inviting them back. If any of them caused problems for you, please direct your hatred toward them and NOT the new members of the guild who have nothing to do with the idiocy of the previous members. I realize that not all of the previous DR members were juvenile delinquents and so if you were a member before but had no part in the treacherous acts of the other former members, then I apologize if this comes off as offensive. As I said before, I'm only trying to clean up the mess that was left behind by the previous members of the guild.
If you have any questions, concerns, or comments regarding the complete reformation of the guild then please contact me. This message is meant only for the people who have been..inconvenienced...by a number of people who were once in this guild. I don't want their acts of treachery to destroy this guild before it can be re-made so again, I ask all who have been negatively affected by the previous members of Devil's Rejects to direct your attention and anger at those members rather than the members who will be joining DR. I can assure you that these people have taken no part in whatever horrible acts were done by the previous members of the guild and if it is found out that a current DR member WAS resonsible in part for whatever happened, we will not hesitant to expel them from the guild. The guild of Devil's Rejects is undergoing a major change; it is NOTHING compared to what it was originally and hopefully, everyone one of you will realize this before you try attacking any current DR member blindly. Background Story
Centuries ago, emissaries of the Darkness waged war against the heavens. Led by Lucifer, the agents of the night fought in a rebellion against the heavens but were utterly defeated. As punishment Lucifer and his Legions were exiled; banished from the heavens for all eternity. Angered by this crushing defeat, Lucifer cast his Legions out of his domain, keeping only the strongest and most loyal of his subjects. The rest were sent into an unending abyss where they would remain for the rest of eternity. Those who were banished from setting foot in their leader's domain were forced to wander in an eternal darkness, a realm full of uncertainty and doubt. To be exiled in such a realm where fear and uncertainty overwhelm all recesses of the mind, is truly a horrible fate. To be forever lost in a world that is unmoving and stagnant, where one's fears can become reality and one's strengths become their weakness; a world where there is no light to guide you to a path, where you are left to fumble through the darkness without knowing what lies beyond. Those who have been rejected by Lucifer to be trapped in a nightmare are collectively known by a single name: The Devil’s Rejects.
Guild Description
The guild of Devil's Rejects is a safe haven for those who wander in darkness, whose lives have been consumed by grief and despair, agony and sadness, pain and suffering. Those who have been abandoned by those they hold dear can find comfort and solace within the sanctuary of the guild. We promote friendship and camaraderie but as a guild of Xen, we also promote parties in which members can strengthen each other as well as themselves on the battlefield. While some may find strength from the light we find strength in the darkness that we have been forced to live in against our will. Rather than succumb to the darkness that attempts to devour us we embrace it as a power source, that we may overcome any obstacle or hardship that may come to pass
Guild Rules and Regulations
Requirements for joining the Guild:
1. There is a level requirement of 50+ to join Devil's Rejects. If you do not fulfill this requirement there are two possible options that you may choose from:
Option 1: Join an Allied Guild (see Allied Guilds section in this post) that has a lower level requirement until you meet the level requirement for Devil's Rejects.
Option 2: Admission can be given to members who don't satisfy the level requirement but will receive no rank. Furthermore the member may be replaced if members who meet the level requirement wish to join.
2. Must be an active player in the MMORPG "The Secret of the Solstice". An active player by the standards of Devil's Rejects are as follows:
a. Members must be in-game an hour or more every other day. While we understand that you all have lives (as do we) outside of SoS, we ask that those who join Devil's Rejects are actively participating in the game or else you forfeit your spot in the guild. If you have an alternate character that you use more than the character that is registered in Devil's Rejects, just let one of the GMs (Dark Emperor/Dark Lords) know so that we don't boot you for inactivity.
b. Members must be available for guild parties every now and then. We have no intention of asking you to leaving your friends' parties for a guild party but we do ask that you participate in guild parties as much as you can. Doing so will increase the likelihood of being promoted.
c. Members must be PLAYING SoS to be accepted into Devil's Rejects. We will not tolerate members who only come online for the sole purpose of selling and nothing else. We want members to actively participate in guild events and parties and the use of a character within the guild for selling purposes will most likely lead to the expulsion of your character from the guild.
3. To join the guild, contact a Guild Leader/Guild Master(Dark Emperor/Dark Lord) to request for admission into the guild. State the name of the character you wish to register, the character's class as well as the character's level. Once you have submitted a request to join you will be notified whether you have been accepted or not.
Rules and Regulations of Devil's Rejects:
1. DRAMA is strictly prohibited. Any display of DRAMA may result in expulsion. This includes negative attitudes toward members/leaders and personal/cybering relationships. The guild of Devil's Rejects is NOT a dating service!
2. Excessive gossip is not allowed...The focus of this guild is for training and partying rather than solely chatting. The guild chat can be used to discuss certain topics, sell items to other members, ask questions, and request parties. People who mostly gossip and not play will be removed from guild. Gossiping can also fall under DRAMA.
3. Excessive cussing in guild chat is not allowed. Excessive ranting, cursing, or flaming will result in an immediate dismissal from the guild.
4. Be respectful of other members. We want to promote friendship and camaraderie among guild members. You are NOT permitted to say anything derogatory or insulting to other members. If you have an issue with a guild member, contact a guild leader/guild master. Do NOT bring the issue up with the person himself/herself.
5. Please register only ONE character into the guild so that we can allow room for other people who wish to join.
6. You are asked to attend guild meetings whenever they arise. Generally,
meetings will be held weekly and times are subject to change.
