I presume the licenses inserted into the weapon makes the weapon stronger particular to that mob. Although i can't be sure since i have yet to test it. Any inputs on this would be appreciated.

The licenses help by dealing a bit more damage to said licensed mob its for. Example being if you have a Ratman license in your weapon. As you kill more Ratmen, the weapon slowly levels up (from 20% to 25% and on and on till it stops at 40% I believe).
The license only affects said mob. So if you have that Ratmen license on your weapon, it'll have no additional damage on anything but it.

I believe it starts at 15% and goes to 35%. I think it will only take 3 licenses, ratmen, boars and minipinks? not sure about that last one. you register the licenses with Zach after usually getting them off the mobs you kill in the first quest for them unless you wanna buy them from Zach. I had a spiked mace withe ratmen maxed and working on boars and the third one. Then tried to level the weapon up with that green stone. It broke!!! lol! No more leveling up a weapon except when I first get it, BE4 putting on licenses!
