I"d like to add Magic Monkey to that list. It was always one of my favorites, and the Magic Reindeer event didn't come close. It was always exciting to get rare and hard to find items like cake, chocalates, flowers, and xens. For the reindeer event the rarest item they dropped I believe is milk, and the best drop I got was 68 aloe, which I'm pretty sure was a mistake since none of the other drops even came remotely close. Most of the drops were junk fruit like cherries and banannas.

I think considering how short staffed the GMs are right now they are doing an awesome job. Right now their top priorities are getting out new maps and the next classes from what I can tell so events are probably not gonna be first on the list. And yes, there have been a lot of complaints about the recent events but cut these guys some slack. Their working their tushes off for us players.
The HAVE asked for help and encouragement, hence the Solstice Council. Trust me alk, they're working hard.

Not saying they aren't just saying to. Help alittel more the council I asked if the players r still here one answered asked if they still help no answer
I know the gms r doing they're doing their best but I still thing a few players who have been here should be helping
[NOTICE] this was not to say they need to do it now it's ideas for them when they need it and mur did ask what events ppl wanted to see and it's not just me it's what i hear from players and what they want to see is that not what gms like to see and hear
and for adding the council saw i iwll say this not many players know them really i only know dyl is one cauz it's in her siggy what they should do is make them selfs known again we get new players every day and some old one's leave i will add my ideas for council in my first post
if u notice murdock is new to running SOS and could use all the help and tips he can get that is what I'm doing he asked me a bit ago what events should he do at the time I did not know at the time and going from thread to thread I see what the players want to see old school sos
yes i know some times they may take helps thats given to them but some times they are a bit snippy cuz players yelling at them for this that or the others thing it's hard some time to pick out what players are trying to help so yes they snip at ppl some time then a player trying to help gets mad and yells and rants see my point
And having more then the council helping him is maybe the best noone see the council no one knows who they are any more.that's gotta say something and if players knew there was one they start blaming them for there needs not getting across to gms
(sawyer if u wish to know more on why i say this PM me and i think u should)

I really like the suggestions for improving the communication and prominence of the Solstice Council, especially holding meetings in-game for feedback and having an information/contact thread put up on the forums. If it could be done, I think it would be very helpful.
I would also like to see some of the old events brought back in the future (I loved Follow the White Rabbit and The Mighty Trek), when the GMs have the time and resources to do so.

Everyone at Outspark is doing their best. People tend to forget this is still beta...which means they are still in a test phase. Players know what they want and know what they like. The time will come when the GM's and Outspark will ask the players what they like most for the game but not until they are ready to meet our challenges.
There are allways going to be things in game that we do not like. There will allways be things in the game we liked but are gone now. We just have to make due with what we are givin and try to have fun with it!
deedee: its a good idea to pull up suggestions for the GM's and Solstice, but im having a bit of trouble trying to understand your text.

-_- sorry finals and report nothing comes out right ATM
But I was ask what was good events to do by GMs at the time. I wasn't sure I said will thread it to get players ideas ummm I fogot but I have heard the players and what they r looking for big thing not xen events ATM
Also GMs ask players to voice what they think outspark can do to better the game that's y we have this players find with the loss of other GMs and them being moved around that the GM for SOS is not getting enough they r to new to it making player uneasy about the GMs being GMs(pm me if u wish to know more)
The game is in beta does not mean it has to suck if it didn't at the start of OB y should it a year into it where players start to hate it? When it's an east fix . AND AGAIN THIS IS FOR THEM TO LOOK AT AS THEY GO and that players see problems and looking to. Help
The event thing is to give event that won't get the GM bs at that much like it has been lately

3 members you can all speak to is myself, strider and sawyer. We are all available for our class and to help the others who do not atm have representatives. Those members will be filled soon. We will make a thread to open up the communication from community to council.

I liked the point of your thread alk...not sure why it was seen as complaining. I thought it did a good job of supplying some positive feedback from the community on what events we'd like to see again. There's so many negative threads on events that it was refreshing to see a positive one.
I don't really think hosting these events would take any longer than the ones they're doing currently. I like it that they're trying out different things, especially since they haven't done events much in SotS (Waste Disposal was definitely a thumbs up in this regards), but when they're not as popular as the older events, they should take suggestions and go back to them. Doing one event over another is not going to take any more of their time or resources to do.
Of course we'd all like to see more events, but most of us understand that's not possible at the moment. This thread is asking for quality, not quantity.
To try to get this thread back on topic from the CL's takeover :p, I agree with MarLyG that the Mighty Trek was a great event. Some of Mur's events are similar, but without the suicidal adventure that made the Mighty Trek so much fun.

I think the GM's have ALOT more on their plate right now however
These are some neat ideas,
However they shouldn't be top-priority.

Again i note this is here for them when they do need it and paart where players seeing that the need help is top i think
And. How is finding players to help a GM that would take a load off the GM so they can work on bigger stuff. Murdock was put into a game he knows a lilttle bit about he can use the help of players
