Not getting credit for kills in KQs

I keep running mara and never get credit in my quest for killin Marlone. I had the same problem with King Slime at lower lvls. Why does it not give credit for kills sometimes? anyone know..

You or any of your party members need to get the final hit on the boss then you get it. So for best results is to have a party of mostly damage dealers.

or be lucky when you strike. In the Golden Hill KQ I was healing for most of the boss. At the end I ran up, whack! And I ended up being the finishing blow. Haha, and I was on the verge of giving up on finishing it, too!

Just try to strategically make a party. You can even make a party before entering the KQ. Just make sure all of the people in your party actually join and stay in the KQ. You can check whoever joined by clicking the KQ you are participating in. Then you'll be able to see the names of the other players.

wish they whould fix that should get credit for everyone in the KQ. anyway thank you for the info i did not know that.

it used to be whoevers party delt the most damage in total got the count, but yeah, changed now

i wish they would change it back =/

im tired of low level mages ksing me and them getting the loot cause they skill spammed on the monster when it was low hp =/
even though i was obviously soloing it -.-

It has been that way for a very long time now.
Whoever actually kills the Boss/Mob with the final hit gets the kill.
Yeah, the system can definitely work against you but once you realize how it works you can also exploit it too.
Unless you happen to be a Cleric.
Clerics are always subject to having their kills stolen.

It quite fair that last hit get the kill.
for someone suggest everyone takee part get credit for kill, then there no need for party, no neeed for KQ quest already. Just increase exp for kq. No meaning if they give everyone credit for kill.

It quite easy to get kill when u in party.
but not easy when u solo.

King slime n Mara, goldhill are consider easy KQ
when u reach robo and above, it tougher, esp to kill robo in robo kq. It difficult to kill already, not to mention get the killing blow.

But if u need the kill badly, wait for "fight a boss event"
normally these event they spawn the king, and not once, they spawn a few of them.
u can try to get the kill there.
It not easy to get kill also, but at least more chance as there is more king. U miss the first, they will spawn 2nd , 3rd or even 4th time. normally these event 1 king they can spawn like 3-5 time.
