Merry X-mas? Answer to a problem.

Its the holiday of the year, everyone is happy and we are all loggin on to get our christmas stuff. Only problem is!
There is a level 8X with an axe that begs to differ.

Events in this game are totally bogus for this reason alone, many people want to just merely get the holiday quest item! But due to every single person wanting one, you get a massacre of panic and destruction we call the Battle Zone Massacre.

How the hell do the mods and gm's expect us lower levels (-50) to get anything when we can barley even survive long enough to get to a chest?

I suggest temp level caps for events like this. Otherwise its just plain unfair to everyone else who wants to get somthing!

my problem is just th same, those events are unfair, i keep being killed when im trying to get those items by lvl 50+ers and im just lvl 16

Making it hard to get perm items, I can see that point. But making them only obtainable by high level people is absurd. This doesn't make me want to buy SC, because no amount of cookies can hold my 2x mage up against an 8x fighter that loves to wait till you open a chest, then kill you before you loot it.

All this does is make me hate playing before I get hooked enough to start buying more items.

... and to point out that i'm not only whining because I'm a low level. >> This is my THIRD account! The others are already filled with high-levels.

I know where all you lower levels are coming from. I'm a lv 65 fighter (No SC. Just saying ^^) and I am able to stand up to some of these people.

I would suggest staying as far away from FBZ2 as possable. That is where the majority of high leveled players hang out to get chests. FBZ3 in Uruga is probably the safest because you got less people, more space and MOST of the players wont even bother attacking you. ^^

The idea of uruga is getting better and better but due to its price of being 40+ silver per scroll is insainly high for a scroll. Besides why should we have to sacrafice a holiday event so they can have their fun?
ITS NOT FAIR. This is the 2nd event like this in which I have actually gone to and quite frankly one of the last if they dont do somthing about this battle zone crap.

And they cant complain and say that they dont get enough money to do anyhting about it, I just bought Friggin 25 dollars with of spark cash junk and if they cant appreciate that then I cant appreciate this game any longer.

I think that if you're a certain level you should fight a certain boss or something. Because everyone has to fight that bugged monster in order to finish one fo the quests, right? So if it's a different monster per level, it would be even more fair.

And I'm still not quite sure about this, but could a level 80 go to level 40 abyss? My idea wouldn't be fair because the level 80 could obviously beat the monster since it's intended for a lower level. They should limit levels if it's not implemented yet. That way you run a risk of getting killed but it's by people around your level. I guess in a way it may discourage PK-ing since it may take longer to kill someone who's your level.

yeah, this topic is also in general discussion, and the event is getting flamed 10 pages long. but I am just waiting to see what, if anything, a gm, cm, admin, or anyone has to say about this. because aparently they are sitting back in fear.

One of my littlest lowbies got stuck in fbz for over an hour simply trying to find the exit and being massacred at every turn. It's just sickening that people have nothing better to do, and ridiculous that FAILSPARK thinks this was a good idea for an event quest. Way to stay in the holiday spirit. And while I'm at it, what's up with the Valentine/Dragon packs for the holidays. Still so disappointed with you all. Maybe I was right to leave in February.

I'm a lvl 43 fighter and I can't even seem to get really anything as well. You go for a chest you get stabbed and shot at. It also makes it harder for everyone else because all the really high lvl's get it then sell off the items for far too much money. I've seen a star for 3 gold. 3 Gold!!! I'm nowhere close to even having 3 gold. The drop rate of the stockings is bad too. Killed about 200 or more 40 to 50+ monsters and only got 1 stocking.

I am level 37. first time player and this is not right. now im not being a sissy. i just want a santa hat. now i hate to bring this up, but world of warcraft, yes has wwwwaaaayyy more money then you. but i think you should make an event like theres, were all lvls can do the quests and have a even advantage with any lvl charecter, now what items or gear they have is diffrent but mostly the strength of a charecter. Theres a simple solution to all this... why not put the event items as KQ chest rewards as well as the usual mats etc.... u can leave the dragon in fbz3 as it will give the 80x somethin to play with wen they are bored and every1 can have a much happier xmas.... how come the outspark team never thought of this?... killin ppl for xmas.. wat were they thinking......

If I were a higher level I would help those who were not.

As a level 4x Cleric, I was killed by someone stationed at the spot I came in. Took three kills before I even saw the person. I agree that this is the worst event idea I have seen although I am fairly new to the game. It would be nice if everyone had a chance to get the quest items, instead of higher level players getting them and selling them for 100 silver each.

I do however have a very good memory. When it comes time to help those who's names have popped up in my screen that attacked me, it will give me pause when I think back on trying to fill this quest and what they did to prevent me from doing so.

I chose to be a Cleric because I like to help people. I would have never ventured into a PVP zone if it weren't for this quest.

I'm lvl 27 Hawkacher I was in both FBZ1 and FBZ2 played for 2 hours ea died 108 times.Yes I counted. each time it was an attack from behind when i was at a chest one shot no time to heal. out of 4 hours work I got nothing. not fair, maybe you should of done it in the abyss as well at less they go by levels. so lower levels have a chance
the abyss are by levels but then people over 60 don't have an abyss so you need make an abyss for that level and above then place events I dont mined pvp but this is just unfair

My lvl44 mage just got killed in FBZ2...by a lv7x fighter...he didn't even give me the time to reach the chest I saw, he just pwned me as soon as he saw me heading for it...and when I asked why, he said something like this:
"This is no event for noobs, get lost..."
I know that guy since he began playing...helped him lvl in the beginning...he spent all his time on this only char, while I spent my time learning to play with all chars...his main is 20 levels above mine, but for me, he is the really noob player...doesn't know how to play, doesn't respect others, and bullies everyone he finds...I helped him in the past, he doesn't even remember me now(ungrateful...) and what do I get from him? a Power Hit Dx

If you're that desperate to get your hands on the items, wait. People will get bored or slaughtering the same people over and over, they'll go. Then you do yours.

It's an event, OutSpark do not have to put them in; it's a bit of fun, get used to it.

To rephrase what I said there, we're aware of player feedback and concern regarding the holiday quests, and didn't intend to release an event that wasn't welcomed by the community.

Unfortunately, it's too late to incorporate your feedback into the current holiday quests, but it's feedback we'll weigh carefully and incorporate into future content and events.

In order to most effectively ensure this feedback reaches the proper channels, please keep all holiday feedback in the thread linked above.
