GMs do but as far as the regular player, it's highly unlikely.

A few people at first, but more will gradually be invited as the server stability proves to stand strong. And as long as no major bugs are found.

Yep, same way it was with Fiesta.

Also, can u use your Fiesta account on this one?
Since there's currently no other place to sign up, I'd assume their just drawing names from the current database (All accounts linked to each game without having to sign-up multiple times).

Okay, SoS (Secret of the Solstice) is about to go into the "Closed Beta" Phase. Which means that only people with invitations sent to them by the Outspark GM's can play. Those who are invited should not be there just to play - but to progress through the game and report any bugs they find to the GM's so that they can produce a better Final Product for us. So, remember, if you do get an invitation: REPORT BUGS! :D

I'm not sure, but the GM's said that the SoS Closed Beta will begin sometime in the week of October 1st. I hope they don't delay it like they did Fiesta Open Beta a few weeks ago. :(

I think they should actually have both (people who have done a CBT and those who haven't) because those who have will already know how Closed Beta works, and those who haven't will get a chance to try it too! :)

Hmmm fair? Yea real fair that people who already got in CB for fiesta also get first shot at CB for SoS... HOW is that fair exactly? Not everyone who registered for Fiesta CB got in, does that mean they should be "shunned"? I think not. I have done CBT for many other games, although I missed my chance for Fiesta due to stuff I couldnt control. Should I be "skipped over" just because I had to have a surgery???? Yes, this is becoming a sore point for me, because way too many CBT for Fiesta seem to think they are better than the rest of us..... Acting that way imho makes you less, arrogance is a very unattractive quality people.

Click on options, on the bottom of the page you should see something called "Latest Reputation Received" when you receive reputation points, its because you helped another person or u simply deserved it. REP points is like adding fame to someone, to check the topics you got REP, it will show under the category.

It's the usual way invitations to CBs are done. Give and take a few VIP members like the gamemasters relatives or so ;)

First off filling out a form isn't going to happen, for one that's just crazy to think of them having to go through ALL those forms (there would be soooo many), and as for a reason why... too many people would A) lie or B) beg.

Usually they let a computer make a basic selection based on countries and system specs to narrow down the options and hand pick the remaining. I highly doubt the possibility of a form/registration for SoS. One, it would end up being like resume's where they just throw out the ones that don't even look good enough. Then they'd move to actually reading a few lines. And eventually make it to the bottom. However, with as busy as they already are, it would be a complete waste of time. The only time it would be appropriate would be as an actual job. To write your resume and apply for a job for Outspark and send it to their P.O. box. Thus, reducing the amount received by hundreds of thousands of people.

However, since this will not happen, a random pick is the highest likely option, and second to that, I'd figure the GM's could recommend certain people to the Administrators to "hand-pick" the selected players.

But by suddenly turning into a nice and helpful person and "sucking up" to the GM's for a few days will not help.

As for the topic passing around about fiesta CBT's first priority, I can see where people get the idea of more experience testing and such for Outspark. However, I cannot agree with this idea. Just because someone helped once... and even then, most of those people never reported any bugs, they just kinda hung out in the game... doesn't make them the most experienced nor should be given the priority over others. It does not make one superior to another because "omg I was chosen for Fiesta CBT!!!" It just makes you one of many. A fair choice would be to choose the responsible ones and the people who do care about the players and about the progress of the game. Those who are willing to take the initiative to help the game out to release it to the players and make those players happier with a new, improved game. But the problem with online free games is the amount of people who lie and 'pretend' to be much more of a mature person than reality can provide for them. In other words, kids and adults who are left behind in life decide to pretend to be 'above' others online. You can find most of these players will only play games for pvp and such. They brag, they are never polite, they never show respect for other players....until suddenly a special event, opportunity is released. Suddenly they pretend to be a totally different person for the chance to be entered in a new event. Something else for them to brag about. That's what lying earns you. Repitition for being such a person who brags and is 'better' than you and lies to get get further. Who cheats to become "elite" or "733t" in some other languages. Those people do not deserve to be given such an opportunity but because the game is free, the amount of people who do such things, increase in numbers.

That is how these games work. I'm glad great online games such as these two are free but it's a risk you have to be willing to take when playing them. So just be yourself and hope you get picked. Changing yourself gets you nowhere but embarrassment in reality. Sure, you may feel different online, but outside of the world wide web, you are not someone who is included in much other than the club who never was. Just be yourself and that about all you can do as far as getting entered into the CBT for SoS. I'm not sure exactly how they decide to pick the players. But that's the exact reason they won't tell you. If you know how they will chose, there are ways to get around it and basically enter yourself.

If you don't get picked, oh well. You are one of many. But be glad that at least some people who can help the game can and probably/hopefully will do so. Speeding up the process to release the actual game. If you don't get picked, there are other things to do. Just pick another. If you do get picked, understand you have been given a certain privilage. Please use it to its full potential and help the game out. Send every possible bug you find and keep looking for more. People will get angry that they weren't chosen and people will get angry that, oh it isn't released yet, but that's how some people think. Those people are out there. You can't please everybody. But speed up the game release date and they can't be mad forever ;)

lol I speak my mind when I see posts that make no sense whatsoever or some people who need to be corrected. Whether people admit it or not, it does help. People realize that what they're doing annoys others and start to slowly stop. Which is the very beginning to maturity and a place in life that has been waiting for them.
But I'm glad you're willing to try something new. Always a good sign to a good peron :)

I highly doubt the possibility of a form/registration for SoS. One, it would end up being like resume's where they just throw out the ones that don't even look good enough. Then they'd move to actually reading a few lines. And eventually make it to the bottom. However, with as busy as they already are, it would be a complete waste of time. The only time it would be appropriate would be as an actual job. To write your resume and apply for a job for Outspark and send it to their P.O. box. Thus, reducing the amount received by hundreds of thousands of people.

However, since this will not happen, a random pick is the highest likely option, and second to that, I'd figure the GM's could recommend certain people to the Administrators to "hand-pick" the selected players.

But by suddenly turning into a nice and helpful person and "sucking up" to the GM's for a few days will not help.

As for the topic passing around about fiesta CBT's first priority, I can see where people get the idea of more experience testing and such for Outspark. However, I cannot agree with this idea. Just because someone helped once... and even then, most of those people never reported any bugs, they just kinda hung out in the game... doesn't make them the most experienced nor should be given the priority over others. It does not make one superior to another because "omg I was chosen for Fiesta CBT!!!" It just makes you one of many. A fair choice would be to choose the responsible ones and the people who do care about the players and about the progress of the game. Those who are willing to take the initiative to help the game out to release it to the players and make those players happier with a new, improved game. But the problem with online free games is the amount of people who lie and 'pretend' to be much more of a mature person than reality can provide for them. In other words, kids and adults who are left behind in life decide to pretend to be 'above' others online. You can find most of these players will only play games for pvp and such. They brag, they are never polite, they never show respect for other players....until suddenly a special event, opportunity is released. Suddenly they pretend to be a totally different person for the chance to be entered in a new event. Something else for them to brag about. That's what lying earns you. Repitition for being such a person who brags and is 'better' than you and lies to get get further. Who cheats to become "elite" or "733t" in some other languages. Those people do not deserve to be given such an opportunity but because the game is free, the amount of people who do such things, increase in numbers.

That is how these games work. I'm glad great online games such as these two are free but it's a risk you have to be willing to take when playing them. So just be yourself and hope you get picked. Changing yourself gets you nowhere but embarrassment in reality. Sure, you may feel different online, but outside of the world wide web, you are not someone who is included in much other than the club who never was. Just be yourself and that about all you can do as far as getting entered into the CBT for SoS. I'm not sure exactly how they decide to pick the players. But that's the exact reason they won't tell you. If you know how they will chose, there are ways to get around it and basically enter yourself.

If you don't get picked, oh well. You are one of many. But be glad that at least some people who can help the game can and probably/hopefully will do so. Speeding up the process to release the actual game. If you don't get picked, there are other things to do. Just pick another. If you do get picked, understand you have been given a certain privilage. Please use it to its full potential and help the game out. Send every possible bug you find and keep looking for more. People will get angry that they weren't chosen and people will get angry that, oh it isn't released yet, but that's how some people think. Those people are out there. You can't please everybody. But speed up the game release date and they can't be mad forever ;)
