Close PvP? Why? We need SOMETHING to do besides repetetive grinding.

Yup it was closed. I think they need to keep the price, it's a kron sink. I also think they need to put a store in so you don't have to leave to repot or get insignias.

It may be a game, but an in-game economy is just as affected by economic principle as a real economy is (minus the presence of such things as legislative bodies and economic analysis entities and such, but that's another story). In-game inflation is as real as the chair you're sitting on, and the fee needs to stay because it is a kron sink. (Frankly, we need more Kron sinks, but this is a good start.)

Keep the fee, set up a shopkeeper, and I'd be happy. Still wouldn't go much, but I'd be happy.

I don't pvp much either Compassion, but I believe it needs to be there for the players that do enjoy it. I do see the need for more kron sinks though. Kron flows into the game much faster than it flows out. I also see the logic behind placing a store inside where a player does not have to repeatedly pay to reenter just because he needs pots or insignias or something. If they wanted to be clever they could stock the store with tiny pots, this way people might pay to go in just to buy the better pots rather than warp to CV, Eir, or Jot. And that would keep Compassion happy, and keeping napalm breakfast eating clerics happy is what the game is all about. And I didn't really really remember who suggested the shop inside the waiting room idea, but it was one of those ideas that just seemed so logical it stuck. Sorry if it got stole Alk.

Maybe they can make an NPC in the waiting rooms who has more expensive goods -- Like, 50-100 kron more than the normal price. Convenience charge, y'know. Everybody does it. ;)

That way, not only is it a kron sink, but it's a DOUBLE kron sink! =D

Well if we get shopkeeper why pay to get in when u will pay more then enough there
Fiesta's pvp is free with shop keeper why not ours

Fiesta's pvp is free with shop keeper why not ours

Because this isn't Fiesta?

I find it kinda annoying how a Cleric runs out of insignas, runs to the item store, buys a few more, comes back, and the entire of PvP is dead. So they go out, buy some more, and we're all alive again. An NPC in the waiting room, maybe even the guard, would be very useful indeed~ 'Specially since I actually like to keep Magic Shield on when KoSers are around ^^;

And the pathetically small fee of 800 kron is absolutely nothing to complain about. People used to beg to go into PvP, that they spammed GMs to get in if they missed the warp. If people can't accept that they can go in for their own free will, whether they want to pay the 800 kron or not, it's up to them.
No body said you had to go in.

[EDIT] Isn't inflation kinda obvious though? Something gets easier to find, like firewood, the price drops. Xens were a hard drop to get. Add in Santa Lair and North Pole, they drop practically every second boss. Therefore, prices drop. Something gets rarer, the price goes up.

Arg, you beat me to it, Tori-San.
I don't know why people feel the need to draw comparisons from fiesta to solstice. this isn't fiesta! go play that game if you like it better.

If you can't afford 800 kron to go to PvP a few times a day...maybe you should be out leveling instead of PvPing

Why do we have to pay? Why? Fiesta does not have any (money?) sinks, (i don't know their currency, but i play it). Not one sink, so why does SoS need sinks or what ever they are called? Yes, I find it a good idea to put a merchant in the Waiting rooms somewhere(no seriously, you guys have good ideas, hmmm...gives me an idea...) , but Fiesta has PvP arenas and more inside of them, but they don't have to pay squat. (sorry to those people who think that i should not draw connections between Fiesta and SoS)

And once again, I would you to show PROOF of where you're getting this from. Like I've said in the previous thread, No proof = Hearsay/Gossip. So post it up.
