turns out there will be no BIG update this month according to GM junglecurry :(

we will instead have a couple of events.... YAY...syked

i ask you bored people of xen to grind and grind and grind to get to 3rd job
so that the vast amount of sudden interest in the game will motivate the developers to release more stuff to us (weird boycott huh?)

and i ask that no one play Wind Slayer, so that they see it as a failure and concentrate more on the games that have players, like Solstice. :)

Personally, the game looks bad to me so......

seriously, they shoudl concentrate more on improving the game, not releasing newer games >.>

I agree at certains points and i disagree at certain others points:

Agreed for the grinding part and the third class change: I have all my Conquest Gears ap6(shield ap3) now, so now my Knight goes full time until Warrior, there slowly more people that are level 110+ now(ok, you will say exp crap) but you know, i don't care if the exp is crap even with 100% exp boost, we need more peeps to get level 100+, otherwise we will not get new maps for a while. And for the no-update for the rest of the year, i knew there will be no more updates until the start of the new year because of the Christmas patch and Whack a Mogra event, also a GM have recently quit the game for IRL things, so the new GMs that are now in-game have just started this job and don't think it's a good idea to bother them now with questions about new contents and new updates for now. Probably the developpers waiting for us to be more high levels so they can released new patchs, but that can be something else that retain them to release new patchs.

I Disagree for the boycott part!

Everyone know that the Open Beta version of Blackshot is not released yet, is probably because on the Closed Beta, there has been too much bugs and glitches and probably that the reason they not released it yet the Open Beta version(since December they was supposed to released it , but no result yet).
For the Wind Slayer new game, i'm not a fan of Maple Story. But i will only try the Closed Beta version(just to see how the gameplay was, not interested on the graphical part of the game). Fiesta, if some from Sots play at Fiesta noticed all the server are at high capacity now, which means, probably a new server is on planning to be put on from the developper of this game(don't ask me how this happen, idk)

For Project Powder, no comment for that(not playing it yet)
Bread and Butter, no comment on that too(not playing it yet)

Wind Slayer is not released yet, how can we know if this game was lame, we haven't try the Closed Beta yet, for Secret of the Soltice, i think we, players, will have to start to grind seriously to level 100+ (even if exp is crap, they will not change anymore the exp rate)to get new patchs and be more patient, otherwise, don't think we will see new maps for a while.

Well, that's the situation i see for now for the outspark current status games.

I have seen Shadow Master as well. I know what yall are thinking...sure ya whatever we've heard it all before. Don't shoot the messenger though I heard it straight from a reliable source. ;D

Sigh, by saying Spring that's sounding like March...I hate sound like this but that is too long and I also view that to be out of order in regards to content.

While I AM glad to hear 4th classes are on the way...how can we get 4th classes within 40 days when we don't even have a good Lv126+ maps going yet? Holy Avenger and Ranger I can see, but it seems like they're being forced to wait till Warlord/Shadow Master/Archmage/Paladin are ready. I don't think most players will even have the tolerance to stick with Turmeit trying to reach more than 10 levels than the map's average level (mobs will run by then).

Like before 3rd Class came, maps with the gear and skills dropping were released first I believe. Shouldn't it be the same for 4th class as well? Therefore Maps supporting Lv126-136 at least should come first.

Before changing to Warlord, I sure would like time now to hunt down my remaining Achievement Gear w/AP and learn my Lv126 skills. So with that all said...it should be 40 days or less for New Maps then 4th Class in the Spring...at least that's what I would favor.

I think class changes should be the last thing on the agenda. instead they should concentrate on filling the game with more non-grinding related content, change the way mobs act to the same way they have them in xenepic (they stay white and don't run), open up guild/other dungeons and new maps. then once theres plenty of content to keep everyone busy for 3 or 4 months, concentrate on bringing out the 4th class.

as for this boycott thing....that game looks far to childish for my liking, so i won't be playing it.

That is not true Charon.. Enix hit 100 at Edine way back before they release blackmail forest+ in which there were no gears/books or maps or 3rd class change.. In comparison between you and his situation, I believe it is pretty much the same.. Well, that was back at March I think in which you were never there :) After that, they released the blackmail+ and gears/books for 3rd classes.. Few months after that, they released 3rd classes..

I think class changes should be the last thing on the agenda.

It shouldn't be the last thing that's for sure.. Most of us want 4th class changes especially Ranger and Holy Avenger.. I would welcome more contents especially maps and high level quests but still 4th class changes as one of top priority..

While I agree on concentrating on new content for SOS, there's no reason why people should boycott Outspark's new game because of SOS. The way I see it is...

New appealing games > More Outspark users > More people looking around at Outspark's older games = bigger community for SOS >D = ????????...we'll see >>;

Boycott? They are asking for people to help test the new game before opening it to the general public, so not sure boycotting it would do anything to make them think it's a failure. Also not sure how that would encourage them to spend more time on SOS. If anything the GM's might have to spend even more time on the new game as there would be fewer people testing it and looking for bugs.

I am as disappointed as anyone else that there is no new content, but at least they told us rather than leaving us anticipating something that is not happening. In a way it's good, because a major new release usually means issues and if it happens right near the holidays when maybe there are a lot of people on and not many people working, would probably result in a lot of unhappy players. Remember when they moved the server on a holiday weekend and a few thousand of us couldn't log in?

Keep grinding, keep go up in rank, keep playing and it will happen sooner than we think.

i think from april-now i can see only sc patch.. dont waste your money to buy sc..too EXPENSIVE.. and many of sc item are usually suitable for low level..

Oh what I'm getting at is it sounds like the plan is this: Release 4th Classes first (well this favors those who hit Ranger/Holy Avenger at least), then release New Maps that drop things usable from Lv126+. The part you said Fog which I bolded is how I want them to release this...Sawyer says less than 40 days for New Classes, while Dylan says not till Spring for New Maps. I knew I was gonna overlevel on the last map before we would get new content, therefore I am willing to be patient for that. But the release order is now being presented differently...

We should have some time of first finding our Lv13X gears and Skill Books 126-136...then bring forth the 4th class shortly thereafter. Actually we should get new maps and the prestige class changes first together, then the rest of the classes a bit later.
