Is there a cap or certain number you reach before you can't raise a certain status point anymore?

It depends on which class you're playing.. :x

If you really want in depth information about how each stat points affects your class; I suggest hoping over to the Class Discussion section. Checking out each respective class and going through a few of the "[-insert job class- guide to everything]". Most of them will explain what the stat does for each respective class. ^^

Oh! Thanks for the reply, but I was looking for how many points we could put into one stat. I familiarized myself with what each stat can do for every class ^^;;

No cap from what I have heard. Could be one after lv 140.(Since the Sin got some holdback with theirs)
