Ok so obviously I know this option isn't implemented but I'm making this post as the frustrated owner of THREE perm horror masks and TWO halos and on behalf of the numerous other people I know with duplicate perms.

Is the option to trade perm items still being considered? If so, please tell me for the sake of frustrated customers that you're going to implement something, even if it only allows trading between permanent items. If Fiesta can have a sc trading system I don't see why Sots can't have something similar.

DX

...and for those who say buy different lucky balls so you don't get repeat perms, there are multiple perms for each ball and the only way to get the one you want is to keep buying that ball.

So, I'm really frustrated with this right now and feel the need to add that it really isn't fair for people to spend money on things like that without the ability to trade in duplicates. -_-

Oh I know how you feel...proud owner of two Male Cloaks of Love and Angel Halos here...I still would like to own permanent Rabbit Ears of Speed and Horror Mask.

I'm sure I could gladly trade a cloak for someone's extra mask, and maybe the halo for rabbit ears. >_<;

I think Daft wants an option that allows users with permanent items to only be traded with another permanent item. Would seem like the most likely situation. Buying perm cash items with ingame kron.. lol D; It's been discussed before about the cash item for kron thing; It would probably cause a lot of turmoil.

i dont see why it would be a big fuss to buy kron with irl money... after all it is both a type of currency and you have to work for both... in retrospect.. games like WoW do it and other games like that.. though i havent really seen how it affects the community.. but regardless... if we can't keep xen stones in the lucky balls, its pointless trade sc items for kron etc... etc...

yea that's why I don't think it's unreasonable for the option to trade just perms. DX

Pretty much off-topic, but it relates to SC item overflow...

Has there been any talk about gifting? Fiesta has an option in their Cash Shop to give items to people - it's even linked to from the home page. While I don't use SC, I know some people who do and have said they'd like to gift something to non-SC players - like, for a birthday or Christmas.

Where's the relatedness to overflow? Well, if people were gift-givers and they had too many perm items, they could give them away... xD;

On-topic: I think it's fair. It's still economy, and it's not like Outspark is losing money - the original perms were paid for already. I've heard complaints in-game about people getting their 4th or 5th perm something that they don't even like to use or doesn't help them much at all. I'm sure they'd love to trade for what they really want.

mmhm~ maybe if outspark makes it so that you cant get repeatable perms in lucky balls?

... but that dosnt solve the problem for the ppl who already have repeats... .___.

Exactly. I don't see anything but good that could come from allowing the trade of perms. You'll have happier customers if they aren't stuck with multiple items they don't want.

I think there should be a different trade option for Premium (Sparkcash items) items - not just perms, so if someone wants to trade a 30day exp book 100% for a perm horror mask - then it can be done :)

In Fiesta, if you don't like the item in the rare finds thingy, you get another try :O But you don't get a full try or somethign like that. @.@ *doesn't play fiesta*

I was thinking if you dont' like your item, you can trade it in for a token or something, and once you get like 5 tokens you get a new lucky ball? Or you trade it in for like minimal spark cash.

This idea is pretty good :)

I think if outspark was to do something about the extra perm items people are getting, your idea will be great for them - since trading them with other players doesn't benefit them as much as the token idea xD . Lets cut down the token count to 3 tho for our benefit

Sawyer and I mentioned this at a council meeting before. They said it can't be done in game but would look into a trade with Outspark. It was suggested back with Rider but he was pretty sure it wouldn't be done. I will suggest it again and lets hope for the best

im all for this, but i wouldnt limit myself to perm items only, but sc items in general, some ppl dont have perms and i would gladly trade away a perm for a boost book or some sc pots.

this is coming from an owner of FOUR PIRATE CLOAKS OF SPEED, two black cat ears, two baby blue starfish, two horseheads, and two samurai armors.. LOL

If we could trade items, DJ, I'd totally give you a few hundred small Elixirs for one of those unwanted Cat Ears. Too bad it's not gonna happen. :(

EDIT: By the way, I have never once gotten a permanent gear from any lucky ball. I'd love a permanent Cloak of Love so that maybe I could cross Taquestrim Plateau without having to be walked. I feel like a freakin toddler when I have to ask someone to walk me somewhere.

Well another option would be to let GMs handle it. Say, two players who wish to make a trade between perm sc gear must contact the GM first. Afterwards, they will all set up a time and meet to do the swap. Obviously, with the GM handling, there would be no demand for krons/xens etc. for sc gear...players could strictly only trade between sc items which they present to the GM.

Set up could work, oh how wedding arrangements go...get in touch, and learn of a time and quick meet to do the swap.

Other option is to program a SC Trade function. Whereas only SC items can be added into the trade basket (if you add say a xen or something thats ingame, it'll prevent you from doing so). The ONLY way the trade will work is if both sides present a perm sc gear within the trade box (the system will require both sides to offer up a perm item at the same time). Such a function then would prevent Player A say trading his/her cloak of love to Player B first, then Player B trades krons/xens as payment...consumables like pots wouldn't suffice either (and of course, timed sc gear would be void of acceptance too). System would work like this:

There is something to consider...a system that warrants two players to at least to have spent sc to earn a perm in order to trade for another one.

I pretty much stated almost EXACTLY what you said(as the second option) in the last public survey they did. Same system idea, same concept that it would only work with SC items. I know the frustrations...i am the (not so proud) owner of THREE rabbit ears of speed...all in hopes of getting 1 horror mask. I just completely gave up on a cloak -.-
