Which class is the most popular?

yeah, I havent started playing yet. But I was looking at the classes, and I'm kinda curious as to which class is the most widely played? And which one is more popular to other classes? (I'm guessing clerics).

But I'm just kinda curious as to which class is the most popular to play and which is the least? and maybe a why? =3

I'd say Fighters and Clerics are highest.
Mages are coming up though because they're pretty powerful at high levels.
Archers for sure are least popular.

I agree with her, Fighters/Clerics, And mages are right behind, Then you dont see TOO many archer now-a-days.

Well here are some of my thoughts,

Archers- they can kite later on very useful when fighting monsters,and would be even better with cleric i would give it 8/10 points overall,9/10 points with adaptation to scrolls(able to use all kind of scroll and put it to use),9/10 points on HP and SP stones,they can carry qut a lot of stones.

Mage-ARE THE BEST,they can be quite challenging at first,but later on they are very strong,they are very challenging to lvl,but thats what i think is the fun part,they have low def and hp but high magic dmg, i would give it 10/10 points,10/10 points on adaptation to scroll(able to use all kind of scroll and put it to use),but sadly 5/10 points for stone carriage,they cant carry much stones,a lvl.70 mage compare to lvl.70 archer...mage only have about 1/3 of the stones archer can use.But overall mage is the best class.

Cleric-they are quit popular with their buffs,they are good for staying alive,i suggest you be all END,STR isnt really needed if you have enhanced weapons.And for SPR you can carry enormous amount of stones so dont worry about using to much,i would give it 9/10 points overall,10/10 points for scrolll adaptation (able to use all kind of scroll and put it to use),and 10/10 points for stone carriage.

Fighter-my definition of fighter is,easy to lvl,but sooo borring,zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.They are quite strong,but they are very easy to lvl and its so boring,theres no challenge to them,i think of them as a 'cheap' class they are like a cheat,they lvl easily and can kill any other class easily.I would give them 6/10 points overall,10/10 points for (able to use all kind of scroll and put it to use),10/10 points on stone carriage

I think theres the most fighter :D i dont know why though,i think its because they are easy to lvl,but if you want to know more about them read this page ^-^

Now that archers are realising their potential as AoE kite masters I think archers are becoming a lot more popular recently.

But fighters remain on top because they are, indisputably, the more powerful of the classes.

Mages and clerics are pretter average...

The only way you'de really get a decent factual answer though, as opposed to opinions, is to make a poll ^_^

Most popular? Probably the Fighter or Cleric, because they have better survivability.

Fighters are the best solo class and probably the most well rounded, clerics are easy to level especially if you have parties and friends willing to party you a lot, however soloing while possible is painfully inefficient. Mages are our indispensable DPS class, but they're harder to level up unless if you're willing to invest a lot of time and money to getting good gear mostly because they are so paper thin in terms of defense.

As for archers, they're the odd man out, they're long range DPS but not quite as powerful as the mage however they are less "squishy" compared to the mage, and with kiting they make for a decent solo class if, once again you are willing to spend the money for a few speed scrolls. So especially in parties where there is a designated tank people generally prefer Mages, especially since at lvl 60 mages will get aoe skills that are a constant DOT and do NOT miss.

However, in the long run at lvl 80ish when people start to grind in Burning Rock, an Archer is a godsend with their various DOT skills because otherwise grabbing mobs in that map to AOE is a pain, as all the mobs in that map are lazy, meaning that they lose aggro easily and everything is very spread apart.
