Necromancer Class

I put the original version of this thread in feedback...it was suppost to be a poll, but the poll did not show up... and i put it in the mage forum because i think that if you become a necromancer, you should be first be a level 110 mage.

I just googled it lol. I don't think so because the differnce between Wizard and Warlock sounds like one is evil and the other is good. I think it would be better if one summoned light/good monsters and the other summoned dark/evil monsters. It's a good idea though, but I prefer the ability to defend myself instead of relying on summoned monsters to help me.

lol that summon skill will be hilarious in pvp, fighters scream when they get teamed, wait till they come across a wizard/warlock :3

OK so I read necromancy on wikipedia...omg I swear I was gonna die reading that article. Anyway, a necromancer has its very well known use of summoning but its more than just that, they create illusions, summon spirits or demons to afflict another to become insane or mad practicaly. Probably will be the most powerful pvp class attainable. Athough this is a role playing game and a very good statment must be made on how it will fit well into partys before the idea is taken into consideration. The idea of a necromancer class i'll favour. Although if there was going to be I don't want to have some goth chick fighting by my side, sereously it is just bringing the magical fantasy thing to the cold bitter world. So if they decide on the look, no goth, no super white skin, no black eye shadow and the armour has to have a sort of gap beetween mage and necro, because the last thing we need is mages complaining that necros look like trash versions of them. Its like Socs and Greasers(Tehe I read Outsiders and watched the movie yesterday WHICH I LOVED).

Warlocks do not use necromancy. They summon demons. and they just use dark magic. Spart is absolutely right. Necromancers abuse their magic to summon undeads and spirits and stuff. They also use dark magic. And there are also Death Knights.

Necromancers dont have to be gothic. They can look like a normal human. They are just cruel at times. Warlocks and necromancers dont have to be bad.

I would like a warlock summon on a mage at a low lvl to take some dmg from monsters

necromancers dont always look gothic and all that. they arent always evil. they can be avery cheerful and helpfull person. just because they are interested in the dark magic and demons and such doesnt mean they are bad. think about sorcerers. they summon demons but they arent always evil. they also use elemental magic. not all classes that use dark, evil or wicked magic are evil. i personally think its a great idea, but only if u add a class like that to all the others. like a death knight for fighter, Dark Paladin for cleric, and Tormentor for archer(becuase of the DOT skills).

IM LOVING THE IDEA!!! In WOW mages can wear ARMOR at a certain lvl in stead of cloth and i think they can also become nercomancers.........this is already alot like wow,,,might as well right?
